There is no such form.
There is I-90 and I would only file it after receiving physical green card with incorrect category / other info.
Sorry, it's a typo. I-90 is correct. The same thing happened when my son arrived. He should've received and IR-1 and they gave him a Cr-1. My other 3 family members had the correct IR-1.

Fill out an I-190 form to get it corrected.

I expedited due to financial hardship, granted, my situation was different because we weren’t living together. At the time, I called to ask about expedite criteria. The person I spoke to told me to state the situation and all the circumstances and to be very detailed on how it affected me as the petitioner. I thought the next step would be me sending in information to support what I’d said but the next info I got was that my expedite had been granted. I was very shocked.

This was in 2015 (things change) but I received an expedite due to financial hardship. I explained my situation over the phone. The person told me to go into every detail because what I said would determine if I received an expedite or not. A couple days later I received an email that said my cases had been approved, less than a week later, they were sent to NVC. Whether people agree with you or not that you need/want/will get a financial hardship expedite, is their opinion. Ultimately, it is up USCIS and NVC to determine if you'll receive the expedite or not. All they can tell you is yes or no. Be prepared for either response. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

You will need to fill out form I-90 to have the correction made. You can now fill it out online. Here is the link:
Since it is their error, you won't have to pay an additional fee.

Thank you for that number.... I called this morning and the person I spoke to says it looks like it has been approved. So fingers crossed I get the good news in the next few days!
That's great! Congratulations.

This is the number on the info page:
Phone: (011) 290-3000
Fax: (011) 884-0396
Immigrant Visa Unit:011 290 3500 Note: Telephone enquiries are only answered between 9-12pm Monday to Friday.
Unless things have changed, they take calls. I had to call and speak to someone at least 3 times but this was some time ago.

CO's may not like people arguing with them but it happens. The day of my husband's interview, I witnessed someone in the SA consulate arguing with the CO. The guy was drunk and the CO eventually just shut her window on him.
Have your husband call. They are good about answering the phones, except on Wednesdays when they have meetings. Wishing you a speedy process and success.

hi
you aren't adding a case, you fill out the form with her information
information about you, and you fill out the form as if it was her filling out the form
Thank you but again that's not what I'm asking. The system will not allow me to fill out a form for her. I guess what I'm asking is how to get the system to allow me to fill out her form. When I try to sign up as a new user, it will not allow me to use my same email address or phone number to receive a password so I can set up an account for her .

HI
you can't do that, it's one i90 per person
one i90 for your daughter that will turn 14
and one i90 for your son who has incorrect date of expiration
and you will have to pay separate fees for each case
That's not what I'm asking. I understand that. My son's was applied for in 2015 and was received. I want to add a case for my daughter and pay the fee, however, only my son's info comes up. I'm asking how to add my daughter's information. Thank you.

I need to file an I-90 for my daughter because she turned 14 this month. I would like to file online because her case is eligible to E-file ( line G1 below). I have attempted to do so but the E-file will not let me add another case. I had to file an I-90 for my son because they incorrectly sent him a 2 year instead of 10 year green card. When I click on add case, all it brings up is an application for my son to naturalize. Anyone know how to add a case?
You are eligible to file the Form I-90 online if: You are NOT eligible to file the Form I-90 online if: (A) Your card was lost, stolen or destroyed.
(B) Your card was never received.
(C) Your card was mutilated.
(D) Your card was issued with incorrect data due to a USCIS administrative error.
(E) Your name or other biographic information has legally changed.
Your card is expiring within 6 months or has already expired.
(G1) You are filing to renew your card within 30 days of your 14th birthday and your existing card will not expire before your 16th birthday.
(G2) You are filing to renew your card within 30 days of your 14th birthday and your existing card will expire before your 16th birthday.
(H1) You have taken up commuter status. This means you commute regularly to work in the United States but reside in Canada or Mexico.
(H2) You have been in resident commuter status and are now taking up actual residence in the United States.
(I) You have been automatically converted to lawful permanent resident status.
(J) You have an older edition of the card and must replace it with the current type.

I'm sorry to hear that your husband isn't the father. It makes things so much tougher, now. Thank you for your kind heart and wanting the best for the child. I wish you all well.

I knew about the I-90 because I knew a couple of people who had the same issue before I did.

Your husband needs to file an I-130 for your son. I filed for my husband and three children all at the same time. The process is almost the same as was done for you, except no G-325A will need to be done. In general, follow the guides for the I-130. It will NOT take 7 years. And I believe he should interview in Johannesburg if you're from Mauritius.

Great help, thanks for all the hard work to fix stuff.
1. Still asking about the check mark box and delete option for the 'view all notification' page. Pulleeaaase with whipped cream on top.2. Can we have the countries back on the home page like it was without having to sort through the portals ?
3. Though most of us know how to go to Home page, newbies to the site may not know to click on the logo, suggest to do a Home tab.
Yes to all of these!!!

Please bring back the new content by country listing on homepage.

A friend of mine who was an LPR became a citizen during the time his visa paperwork for his family was being processed. His family arrived in the U.S. a few weeks ago. He has a biological 2 year old son that he wants to obtain U.S. citizenship.
Is it correct that his son automatically became a U.S. citizen once he entered the U.S.? If so, should he apply for a U.S. passport for his son and not worry about the N-600?
He was told he needs to file the N-600 but I wasn't sure if this was correct of not.
Thanks in Advance

I was there for my family's interview (husband, 3 children). In fact, I answered most of the questions. I was waiting for the CO to tell me to shut up but he never did. I think it made a difference because before the interview started my husband noticed a video camera pointed at our family. I think they were watching to see how we interacted with one another.

My husband was called back to the embassy after our family's visas were issued. An error by the embassy was made and they were trying to correct it. Good luck.

We filed a K-1, originally. Our paperwork said we "were not clearly approvable. We later filed an IR-1 and were approved. The funny thing about it is the CO at the IR-1 interview asked us why the K-1 wasn't approved. His tone of voice, his mannerisms and how he was shaking his head in disbelief let us know that we should have been granted the K-1.

I forgot to include the name of the doctor. I was referring to Dr. Hoosen's office.
Cr1 on visa but IR1 correct category. What to do?

It’s been about 7 years now so I don’t remember how long it took, sorry. I don’t remember it taking an extremely long time, though. It was done through the mail because online filing wasn’t an option then.
