I did know, but she didnt show up for the interview and emailed the embassy saying she didnt want to continue with the process. They filed in 05 and the interview was in 08. After awhile they slowly fell apart because she wouldnt move to DR to be with him and if she closed the case then he couldnt go to US.

What Im saying I didnt know was that at some point she emailed the embassy back saying she wanted to reopen the case. Edouardo was unaware that she did this. It couldnt be reopened, because the original petition had expired. So anyway the embassy contacted the ex and she told them she never emailed to reopen the case.
