Awwwww, nice it is always good to hear wonderful stories, since it seems like the only ones we really seem to hear about our the bad ones. I am also very sorry to hear about your miscarriages, good luck trying again. And thanks for sharing. May you be blessed with so many more wonderful moments with your husband.

I was unemployed when I initially filed my petition, in fact I did not become emplyed till about a year later. You are fine, in the meantime I hope you find a job so you can meet the income requirements if not you will need a co sponser.

Give it time, some consulates take longer than others. For example, the wait in Ghana is over a year for the NVC to scedule a CR1 interview. Good luck

Yes I believe you can drive here with a canadian license.

Sounds like a good thing to me

Aww calm down and start collecting your evidence along the way. Relax and breath oh and be patient! You will get thru it! Good luck

Are you residing in your spouses country for six months? You can't file at consulate unless this is the case.

Goood luck, I hope you hear something soon

Awesome, Marc Ellis just got my case reaffirmed as well, He is the best, I can not speak any higher or Marc!! I love him. But look my case went to the NVC within a month after it was reaffirmed, The NVC did not request anything, I just got a letter saying they were sending it back to the US Embassy in Ghana. This was all just in the past month. Congrats. I hope you get your spouse here soon! Gotta love Marc Ellis!

Aww that is a crazy story, Congrats to you and yours! I know I couldn't have made it this far either without a few special people from VJ helping me along the way as well.

I wouldn't say you need a lawyer, depending on what kind of charges they were you most likey do not need a lawyer. I had three DWIS I sent evidence about the trail , certified copies of court documents and papers showing I went to rehab. I would send certified court records upfront showing the evidence of the disposition of the case upfront so you don't get and RFE. I don't think petty theft charges will cause a denial. Just be upfront about it, good luck

I would say it is a positive sign of consideration. Give them a little time, when I had my case expedited at the NVC, it took about three weeks for an answer. Not sure how long the USCIS take. I hope they speed it up for you. Goood luck!

I hope it works out for you. Can't he find someone else to co sign?

Bank of America is good. Very little fees, especially if you go with direct deposit or open the account online. I have had them for a long time and love them!

Congrats, great news, I wish I would get some already too!

Midge knowing the embassy they will probably want it to be a day old. My husband asked for an updated recertification of his and was told they can only issue a new police report because people was making fake police certificate updates. I wouldn't worry to much into it I know you are just trying to be prepared but if anything he will just have to get a new one.

Well if you do decide to consult an immigration attorney, call Marc Ellis www.marcellislaw.com, but this sounds like something you can fix on your own.
