Well I think this is good news my husband was denied in December and I got the Notice to Revoke today. At least it is going to move now and we can prove our marriage is real again. Please pray for us, this has been a long journey and I see no end at the moment.

Wow, I am really sorry to hear about you journey. It made me quite sad reading it.

My husband did not have his original birth certificate he had a certified copy as well and we passed the NVC just fine with it.

Call them all you want, everyday if you want.

Maybe you can find a friend or another relative to be a co sponser , good luck

I also just emailed these two articles to the lady at Ben Cardins (MD State Senator) office who deals with immigration. It is jacked up.

Why I am not surprised, thanks for posting that. It still sticks in my head of the little asian man at the embassy saying deny denied like 50 times while I waited to be seen by the conslur. At least the issue is in the public eye now.

You can definatly go to the embassy, I was thrown out twice, the second time the second in charge head cunslur threw me us after my husbands denial back in December 29 th. I was crying so hard though and he was being a jerk saying well how do you know someone three months and marry them. They will tell you they are back logged most likely!

For a long time I have noticed my African American friends here hate African people and my African friends hate African Americans. The girlfriend from originally from Ghana and I had this discussion on Saturday. She said African Americans think their better than her!
As far as your issue with your husband’s family I feel you! I have the same situation with my husbands’ brothers and sisters here in the states. They all think I am an evil American too. My husband’s brother lives 20 minutes away and I have never met him, I think they are crazy. His one brother told my husband he will speak to him again when we get divorced that how could he go marry a white woman. His brothers have never spoken to him since we have been married. Honestly they have never met me so I don’t know what their beef is. Personally it’s none of anyone’s business. Who cares if I am white and he is African. It makes me angry but what are you going to do about it. When my husband was denied he visa I was mad in so many ways that nobody would help me find a lawyer, contribute to pay him, etc. I could not even get an affidavit of support letter from them for my rebuttal, not that we would ask but we know. My husband’s sister had never spoken to me in over a year and a half that we had been married and she found out I was headed to Ghana for Christmas this past December. She had her husband call to ask if they could mail me stuff to take. I was so angry but I said yes to do it for my husband’s parents. Fortunately they love me and respect me. His sister never called me not once and I have yet to hear from her husband again.
I feel you anger in so many ways.

The mail is slow in Ghana but your husband will get it. It will take a while. When the case gets to to NVC you can have the mail sent to you instead, they will send you a form. Ghana is so back logged though, the wait for interviews is long, not to scare you but if you read the Sub Forum Africa (people from Ghana usually post there a lot because it is west africa) you can review timelines etc. Good luck.

My husband went to digicel in Jamaica to get his phone records and they say i need to have a form from the embassy requesting it do anyone know anything about this.
That just stupid. Why would he need that? I guess he told them what he needed it for and they asked. He should go to a different office and ask again, since it is really none of their business why he needs it. Maybe go to a different Digicel?

The people In the Ghana embassy think they are God. I have been thrown out of there twice for throwing fits, my husband was denied hi cr1 visa. Especially the second in charge head consulate guy. They work so slow and have no care in the world. Something needs to be done, more people need to constantly write there Senators!
You have moved pretty fast when I look at your timeline for Ghana.

Aww that is freakin awesome, congrats to you and yours!

In order to file married you need a W7 form with the original passport.
-
Hello everyone and thanks in advance.
I just want to know in Ghana, is it illegal to mail a passport???
I believe my husband is lying to me when he tells me they took it at fed ex and gave it back to him and said it is illegal. I need it to file my taxes with the w7 form. If he is lying it is over. Does anyone know??
Oh and he had nerve to tell me the police called him or somethin about it.
Anyone one got any good news

Ok I updated my timeline, I recently changed names and never bothered. So is 60 days a standard turn around time anyone know once you send your evidence back in to reaffirm the case? Or should I annticipate longer?
