  1. How is it my husbands case when I petetioned and I130, and it was denied, they say marriage for immigration purposes. I never filed and I864 I am the petitioner, why can not withdrawl it? I no longer want to bring him here. Nor appeal, I just want a divorce. And as I have written them asking for withdrawel with copies of my divorce petition and signed notarized letters sent return reciept, for crying out loud, my husband is married again in Ghana. And I have told them that and still nothing cancelled.

My hubby said all they did waS question him on his cousin agaun. How can they do this wahts next appeal again. Im leaving for Ghana Thursday to go to the embassy to demand answers. 3. I haven't posted on here in a while. The last time I posted I asked how to cancel a case, needless to say I never did , me and my husband worked things out. His interview is April 26th and after LonleyCouplez interview I am concerned about what birth certificate Ghana wants. Has anyone got approved lately with an older birth certificate? My husband got his in 2003, and now Im thinking this is going to be a problem. I am having him request a new one, but I am not sure if he will have it in time for the interview. Just curious if anyone got approved lately with an older one. Thanks

  4. You need a good lawyer who specializes in denials. Marc Ellis specializes in denials and I would recomend him as we appealed our CR1 denial and our case was reaffirmed. www.marcellislaw.com 713-893-7091 or 714-656-4156

You won't have much luck keeping your case at the embassy as it is probably on its way back. You need to be prepared for a long road. The only thing my senator was able to do was to get the USCIS to send our Notice of Intent to Revoke faster than it would of been done. You will need to wait on the Notice of Intent to Revoke, than appeal it. Good luck and email me if you have any questions.

  5. Yep my case was reafirmed recently to we got a letter from the NVC stating they were sending the case back to the consulate. You seem to typically bypass the NVC once the case is reaffirmed and guess what are in line for the interview. Good luck I am sure you will have an interview in no time. They set ours in April. Funny we got denied and still got an interview quicker than those in line at the NVC for a current interview. Wierd!
