i just don't answer my door when i'm alone at home, unless i know who it is. after about a minute, anyone i don't want to answer the door for just goes away. whether they want to sell me a security system, landscaping services or salvation. i had no idea things could be so...complicated.
out of all the people i know who don't share my religious beliefs, or don't have any religious beliefs at all, i don't think i know any that would answer their front doors topless, or in towels. there are clearly other factors involved.

My MO contribution in that case would be that I'm glad I'm married to somebody who stays fully clothed in all possible public appearances. And i think that is hott with two t's.

Collecting money from you makes perfect sense to them. They did "see" something out of it...unless you "misspoke" about what they spent the money on.
And by the way, it's a mistake to equate "worth" only with "money." Some people collect things for sentimental value...others hoard things because they are ill...etc.

They want to get married 6 years from now?! Then they need to leave before their I-94s expire, and have visits for the next 6 years, then file again in 6 years to get a K-1 and THEN get married in the US. You cannot stay for 6 years. You will be here illegally, be subject to deportation and bans that will not allow for your return to get married when you plan on it.
There is no reason to question this really. You cannot stay past the I-94 unless you marry within those 90 days. I cannot understand why anyone would go through the fees and hassles of getting a K-1 if they were not even serious about the requirements of that visa, or even better, not ready to get married for another 6 years. It truly boggles my mind.
They must leave before their 90 days are up, period.

This is a recklessly negligent idea and qualifies as abuse of the wife and her child. Marriage by itself gives them no rights. They are proposing to be illegal aliens.

I've wondered if that's why the two of them were in a scuffle. But that would mean that somehow, Martin found out Zimmerman was carrying a concealed weapon and if that was the case, how would he have known unless Zimmerman drew his gun? I asked earlier if anyone could explain how Zimmerman would have been able to unholster his gun and aim into Martin with deadly accuracy if Martin was on top of him, pinning him to the ground and bashing Zimmerman's head into concrete? I think that is why the lead investigator did not believe Zimmerman's version of the events, because they seem either too incredible or outright impossible to do.
On a side note, the autopsy report shows that Zimmerman's blood was found under the fingernails of Martin, so if Martin was in fact reaching for or fighting for control over Zimmerman's gun, I would imagine there'd be matching lacerations on Zimmerman's gun hand. Martin only had two hands and his glass bottle of ice tea was intact, and we know that he was talking on his cell phone at the time of the confrontation. That fact, in of itself makes it incredible to believe Zimmerman's claim that Martin was the aggressor, or at least to the point that Martin was set on causing grave harm to Zimmerman.

He would have been taken downtown, given a drug test, questioned briefly until they got his results back and then charged immediately with murder. He'd be getting ready for trial already I would imagine. Why would anyone think he didn't kill Zimmerman? Zimmerman was the great neighborhood watchman hero.

There is no evidence to suggest that Martin attacked him first whatsoever. There is quite a bit of evidence to show that an armed Zimmerman was very aggressive in his pursuit of an unarmed Martin. So who's the attacker here really?

It seems other articles I've read alluded to him being dismissed from the police academy. So that article seems to set the record straight as far as that goes. Thanks also for the article for another reason....it makes me even more certain he's completely crazy and a wannabe cop. That's just not a great combo in my book.

It doesn't matter, according to those who support Zimmerman's 'act of self-defense.' As long as he 'feared' for his life, using lethal force was justified, whereas Martin couldn't have possibly feared for his life, he had a big glass bottle full of iced tea for protection which he didn't bother to use on Zimmerman while trying to kill him with his only free and bare hand.

The teen on the left was using self-defense from the crazy, drugged out, paranoid, "they always get away," racist, "history of violent crimes even against police" Zimmerman. Thanks for the pic.

Zimmerman has the crazy eye. Poor Trayvon. No wonder he feared for his life and tried to defend himself.

Amen to that. I've learned a lot in the past few days and I am more confident that the prosecution has a strong case as opposed to the claim that the charge was an act of appeasement to the public's outrage over Zimmerman going scott free.

Or how about this... Zimmerman say that Martin was reaching for his gun but whose fingerprints were recovered on the gun. If there was a struggle for it, that would indicate maybe both. Evidence presented to the public is nowhere near what they actually have. Will be interesting to see how this all goes down.

Zimmerman was strong enough to pick up a women and throw her far enough that she twisted her ankle when she landed, when he had a short-lived career as a bouncer. You would think he could have handled a punk like Martin no problem.

Well, when the lead investigator's sworn statement says that this shooting was instigated by Zimmerman's actions that night, his lawyer will have his work cut out for him in convincing the jurors that in spite of his actions, he reasonably felt his life was in danger by a scrawny, unarmed teenager, holding a glass bottle and trying to pummel him to death without using that bottle. A weak argument at best.

Another item I find rather compelling is that Trayvon's girlfriend has said from the beginning that she hears Trayvon ask Zimmerman why are you following me?? ..followed by a thud. Now...you don't normally drop your phone unless someone shoves you or knocks it out of your hand. How is this possible if Trayvon was the aggressor and acted first?
Better not tell Zimmerman that, he might shoot ya.

That's not what Bill meant by pivotal and you know it. The prosecution's job is to recreate the sequence of events that led up to the shooting on the night Martin was killed. The phone records, along with the gf's testimony will be pivotal into establishing some cohesive timeline, along with Zimmerman's 911 call, location of his parked vehicle and where Martin's body was found by police. Based on those pieces of corroborating evidence, it is clear that Zimmerman was in pursuit of Martin. Zimmerman, on the other hand, claims he was walking back to his vehicle when he was jumped by Martin.
