We did no receive a fee bill yet, but it showed it was available to pay online.

Does it really take 2-3 days to generate the Cover sheets after paying the fees on the online system?

Paid my AOS fee today!!!

I called and asked for it. The operator (a guy) told me the IIN had been assigned. When I asked for it he told me to hold on. After about 5 minutes he returned and gave it to me.

It says NOT INVOICED

I have case number and iin, how long should it take for them to actually get something going?

It took them 12 days after I-130 was approved

What does his birth certificate say? He will need to submit one to the NVC with the DS-230.

His birth certificate does not have the birthdays of his parents on it

We just got our case numbers yesterday and sent off out DS 3032's via email. When should I start harassing NVC about the next step

We got our case numbers yesterday!!! I know they had them before last wednesday. According to the lady yesterday who gave our numbers, they had received the case this monday

We are completing the DS-230's for my in-laws and I have ran into some problems

1. My father-in-law does not know the birth dates of his parents. There is no record of his dads birth. His birth was never registered and he doesnt even know his birth date or age. He also does not know the year his mother was born (her birth was no registered either).

2. My father in law did his obligated year of service in the military in Mexico. For one year he went one a week for and hour and they practiced drills. What should he put as his military specialty and rank. He didnt really have a specialty nor did he have a rank. Any suggestions?

We finally got the case numbers for my in laws. I am so excited to start this NVC process!!!

We are applying to bring my in-laws here. We sent off their I-130's together.. Do they include each other on their DS-230's on questions 31 a and b?

I have a question about part 9 of I-864. We are applying for my husbands parents to come here. We filed individual I-130s for each of them. Do we have to include them in part 9 of the I-864

Is there a certain day of the week that case numbers are assigned? I talked to the operator Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and they still hadn't assigned the numbers for my in-laws. I have saw some places say Tuesday and others say Wednesday. Is there really only one day that they assign?

We got out NOA2 after 5 months and 8 days or something like that. It is coming, just not as soon as we would like

Yesterday NVC confirmed that they have received the cases of both of my in-laws, do I have to wait till they assign the case number to give them contact emails?

NOA1 5-4-10

We found out that my in-laws' 1-130's were approved today. NOA1 - 5-4-10 through CSC

So yes it is taking 5 months

We also applied for my in-laws (NOA1 May 4th) and still havent received NOA2. I am also glad to know that I am not alone.

I am sure this has been previously discussed but after some searching i haven't found answers.

If I am applying for more than one person:

do I write 1 check or 2?

do I submit documents such as birth certificates(to show relationship)for each application or only one copy to be used for both applications?

Do I send both applications in the same envelope?

You must have gotten a good one...my birth certificate looked massacred but the Registro accepted the translation anyways. Good luck, I know it's a time-consuming process.
