  1. Ok. We had filed I130 first than after we got receipt for I130 we filed I129F. My I130 was approved last month and just sent the I864 AOS Package today to NVC. Now, just got e-mail stating that on my I129F they had sent some letter to my address for RFE. I checked on the USCIS website and it shows that it has moved from Initial Review to Request for Evidence status. It also says there that if you don't provide the or respond back to the request in time they are asking for than your case will be closed or not processed in that manner. So, my question is can I call them and tell them than I want to close this case or do not take any action. I do not want to have any adverse effect of this later on when my wife goes for interview. Thanks

  2. Hello, you don't have to send the birth certificate as they do not ask for that, it's up to you if you would like to send pay stubs or bank statements, it is not required, 2008 & 2007 tax transcripts are optional but would help, so thats a plus. I think u're good to go.

If u're in the US, you can do 1 day express mail, mine arrived the next morning.

    Good Luck with your journey.

Yes, thanks. Actually, I decided not to sent the Birth Cert. So, I sent the I864 (ofcourse signed and dated), tax transcript for 2007 & 2008 and full 2009 info (Federal and State). So, hope that's enough. Just sent out this morning VIA FedEx they should have it tomorrow before 8.30.

Have you received your IV package?

  3. Ok. Just want to ask quick question when I am sending my I864 do I HAVE TO HAVE LETTER OF EMPLOYMENT and LAST SIX MONTHS PAY STUBS? I can get the other two supporting documents that I mentioned but I do not want to send them more papers than I have to (going green...saving environment  ). Thank you so much. I am trying to get this out in FedEx today if it's possible.

Here is the list of documents that I have ready and the one that's lined through is not ready to go out yet but I can have it if I have to have to have it. Thank you all so much!

    SPONSOR:

    Cover Letter

    Form I-864 (Signed and dated)

    2009,2008 & 2007 Tax Transcript

    Birth Certificate

    Letter of Employment

Pay stub(s) from the most recent six months

    Bank Statements for 1 year

  4. hehehehehehe I wish... now you are counting like me... August is next month dear... unless I have totally lost track of time... which I have been known to do  Thank you for thinking about me though

Hi, you right I am skipping the whole month...I can't keep track of time no more because my mind just keeps counting all day since last 5 months...well, so like someone else mentioned here it's really no sure day/date...just expect ANYDAY now!:-) Really I pray for you Melody and I can personally feel you how difficult time this is.

  5. Hey thank you all for the response.

Darnell, thx sorry you right I should posted there.

Indy90 no I have not checked out the Indian Consulate Review but that's going be my next task to do.

AmitnMelody, I think it's Mumbai because when on my I130 as my first choice Embassy my lawyer put down as Mumbai. So, I assume it will be at Mumbai. It's good to hear that they let you go in at Delhi with your husband. I hope it's the same case at Mumbai too. I don't know yet if I am going to go or not but I want to know just incase if I needed to go. My wife lately been feeling very down and stuff and I just don't want us to be apart any longer than we have to be.

    Again thx all yall

  6. SimAsh, did you find yourself on there? You are number 82. I think it pulls data from people who have input data into their VJ time lines. This is why it is important to keep you VJ time line updated, so that this data is accurate. There are plenty of people who are still "waiting" for their NOA2 but have actually passed their interview or are at the NVC stage. That obviously skews the data.

Yeah, the people who answer the phones at USCIS are just reading a script for the most part. In order to get some real answers, you have to speak to an immigration officer. I see your NOA1 is March 5th. You should be hearing something from them soon, as long as they don't fall asleep again.

Thanks TeyaValentina. Yes, I did found myself on VJ's Igorlist. I didn't knew it was possible to go through the interview or NVC process if you have not received your NOA2. That's new to me. I thought the process work in steps but who am I to ask the GOVERNMENT :ranting:

  7. Go to the Immigration Timelines at the top of the screen. On the right hand side, there is something that says Processing Times: Igor's list. Then just make sure you change what you are looking at to CR1 from I-129F and then the I-130 and California and all of that good stuff.

    http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?visa=3&form=2&scenter=1&option=2&sortby=2

    here is a link.

Hey TeyaValentian, where does the Igorslist pulls the data from? There is two drop down menu for Approved and UnApproved Petitioners. I didn't see myself in either one of the queries. That's why I asked where does the data gets pulled from. It's very helpful if YOU (I see MYSELF :P )are in that but can't seem to pull up my name in that.

Also, the agency that you think would be able to answer you questions can't answer anything except: WE CAN ONLY GIVE YOU LIMITED INFORMATION "IT WILL TAKE 5-6 MONTHS". That's all I have been able to get out from our very own USCIS 1-800-375-5283 help desk. :bonk: All I wanted to know was what month or date/day they were at the current point but no say Jose

Never thought this process was this painful but now I am finding out. I thought this only happened in third world countries. It seems like no matter what part of the world you go everywhere government agencies work on their on pace.

Anyways I wish goodluck to all the VJ members that are still in waiting line.:-)

  8. SimAsh - you should be hearing soon from USCIS. Based on what I am seeing on Igor's list (see page 1 of this thread link is posted by Teya), Month of march just started and you should be next. If everything goes well, here is what will happen after you get your NOA2:

2 weeks to get a case number

4 weeks to get through NVC (without RFE)

4 weeks to get an interview call (may be less)

Thanks, JohnDoe12. What do you mean by without RFE? So, my guess about 2 months is right if everything goes through smooth. Thanks again.

  9. Glad you like to have fun with numbers! Interesting data you have there.

Hey everyone, on my NOA1 it shows Feb 26 as Received Date and Notice Date is March 5th. So, it will be three months (very long three months) coming this 5th. I am really really hoping and praying god that hopefully I will receive my NOA2 in next couple of weeks. Can anyone tell me where I can check what month or day USCIS California Service Center is working on as of yet? Also, is it reasonable to think after I get my NOA2 in TWO months if everything goes through fine than I can expect my lovely wife to be here? :star: . This wait kills me :(

  10. Hey Guys,

I just spoke to the NVC regarding progress on my case. They informed me that as of yesterday (May 11th) you do not need to worry about submitting a Local PCC in order to complete NVC processing. The Mumbai embassy is no longer requiring the local PCC. Just bring in the Passport Office PCC at the interview. Please verify this at your end and also let them know to speed up your processing as well. Good Luck!

Hey I also filed I130 in last Feb for my wife and want to just make sure I am up to date with this stuff. So, are you saying that you don't have to get PCC now or what? I am really newbie to this whole process and I just want be prepared for it and want be with my wife ASAP. This is really long wait time. Every day seems like months and months feel like years being away from your loved one. thx for sharing the info. take care

  11. If using a Congressperson sped things up, we would all try it. Unless there's a problem to be solved, there's no point in involving a politician. IMO, August would be about the soonest you could expect a visa interview and then only if you do a great job of following the NVC shortcuts.

The fact you are posting in the K3 thread (K3 is a dead issue.) indicates you have a lot of study to do, including the NVC shortcuts thatw ill make August a possibility.

Pushbrk thank so much for your reply. Where should I post this and how can I move? Yeah, I didn't knew about getting help from politician if it helps or not and how much it help. Thanks for your honest opinion.

What are the shortcuts for NVC? I have attorney that suppose to be doing this stuff for me. She filed first I130 and now she told me that she is going to process K3 visa.

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge

  12. Hey to everybody here:-) newbie here. I got receipt from USIC (WAC...) On the letter it says RECEIVED DATE is FEB 26, 2010 and NOTICE DATE is MAR 05, 2010. So, is it realistic to think that my wife would be here by AUG of this year? Also, calling your congress-man or senate office does help? :help:
