  2. My mom came up to my work today as I was getting off. She handed me an envelope and said I think you have been waiting for this. My heart dropped. I was so nervous. I did'nt know if it was an Approval, Denial or RFE. I thought no way it would come this fast. My fiance' is from Afghanistan and I did'nt think our NOA2 would come in 102 DAYS! I was so shocked I started crying. My moms face was priceless. She kept asking me "so whats next?" I am so happy and I hope that everyone else that is waiting for their NOA2 will get them soon. <3

    congrats!

  3. thank you vj members to all those who have answered our questions and helped us through this roller coaster journey...

follow-up question though... woman at window 72 returned my appointment letter and told me to go home... so i went home.. now i'm wondering does 2go have the record where to drop my visa? (i chose pickup delivery option)

    congrats!

  4. Hello Vj friends,

I have access to my fiancee's VJ account so I figured to ask about W2. She is worried not having W2 to bring with on her interview but she has my bank statement and the 2008-2010 ITR, is it really needed(the W2)? Thank you in advance..

    yes you do need them.

i brought 2 yrs worth of 1040 & w2, paystubs. i did not include bank statements. u may if u want to.

  5. just follow tahoma's advice & you'll be fine :)

just a few more days then call the USEM . ask if they already have ur case/file. if yes, u can pay for the visa then schedule an interview. (the medical should be done before the interview so keep this in mind when u pick a date for the interview)

or u can oay then try scheduling online coz calling the USEM embassy is kinda pricey especially if ur like me who tried callign few timnes everyday.

if it goes through that means the USEM got ur file already coz if not u wont be able to schedule no matter how many times u try. this is what i did. cheaper plus i can try to schedule online as many times as i want

    good luck!

  6. The sponsor should have send the i-134 form filled out properly, signed and supporting documentation to the beneficiary. This is a REQUIREMENT and without this, K1 will not be issued.

    Good luck

they did. when the beneficiary was requested to come back they took all of this. he has 2 CO-sponsors. so i we were wondering why do the sponsor need to work for at least 3 mos. the embassy didnt even give the beneficiary a letter stating what he needs to do or what happened with the case

  7. here's what happened:

my friends'brother's visa was approved last week by the US embassy in manila(phils).

now they got a call fromt hem yesterday asking her brother to go back there & submit the affidavit of support papers, paystubs & tax documents which i believe they FORGOT to collect. they kindof revoked the visa & told her brother that his petitioner shouls get a job for at least 3 mos before they can process his visa.

but WHY? that's why they have a CO-SPONSOR right?

anyone pls enlighten us.......let's help them fellow VJ'ers

  8. congrats to all of you!

    I have a little question:

On the interview letter they say to bring a certified copy of the mariage licence...Where do we get a cetified copy? Can't I just bring the original and they do a copy on their own ?

I start stressing...interview is next tuesday

thanks in advance for your inputs

bring the original. the one they sent u after u got married. the one with the seal or something like that. our co didnt even asked for it coz he was looking at the color copy i sent in with our AOS file.

  9. Friend is a permanent resident here in the US. BOyfriend is outside the US.He is planning to get a tourist visa( he has strong ties in the philippines such as a family business, job etc.)

now they are thinking if he comes here ona tourist visa & after a few months decided to get married. can the guy stay here & adjust status or needs to come back to the philippines & then file for a petition?

    tnx so much...

  10. Birth certificate is needed to prove someone's citizenship. Since your husband is a naturalized citizen, the only documents they would need are Passport and/or Certificate of Naturalization. So, I wouldn't worry too much. =) Best of luck!

that's what i was thinking too coz hes got his passport & certificate of Nat with us. .his mom emailed us his birth cert so i printed it out in color. our interview is gonna be tomorrow.

  11. i asked a question on the forum regarding whether or not we need to present my husband's (petitioner) orig birth certificate. he was born outside the US but has been a US citizen for years now. he only has a photocopy of it. the orginal is on its way but im afraid it wont make it. I, however the immigrant do have my orig birth certificate with me. we were born @ the same country.

are we going to have a problem with this?
