I was really down yesterday, specially cause i decided not to travel until i get my visa, they stop me all the time, and i don´t want any trouble that isn't necessary... i miss my honey a lot, not used to spend a month without see him, and i will have to wait until that... oh well, the waiting is worth it, i am marrying the best man for me, what is another three months of waiting if i am going to be with him for the rest of my life?

Yaaaaaay, happy to see you're back (you were way missed!) and all went well for you guys. I admit I had to laugh at your daughter's story, it sounds like something I would have done, too. And I'm very glad that P3 went through okay! I know I'm always a nervous wreck when it comes to filling out stuff like that. Peter and I are beyond excited for our interview date and we may have visa in hand as soon as the day after, so woo hoo! A very kind Dec. filer just emailed us about the interview process and said it was very simple and the staff were all very friendly, so we're feeling a little less nervous.

Oh, and the lingerie hunt was successful.. two very elaborate items totaling $139.00 and some stockings and other such items totaling $66 so.. Peter's going to be in for a show alright.. and no bath robes, but I am in need of one, so I hope my own plan doesn't backfire on me.

My bridal shower is on Sunday, I'm very excited. I'm even baking cupcakes for my own shower, but I don't mind as I've been baking and cooking since I was about 13. My Mom's a caterer and I've been helping her out since about then.. I'm surprised I'm not cooking at my own wedding but time will tell! My maid of honor is finally back from her year long job in Texas and we can finally let the bridal madness begin. :dance:

I can relate. I think I saw some numbers for 2009, maybe a whole 80 people from Belarus came into the US, and there aren't exactly a whole lot of current VJ members going through the same process, but we did find one other couple a little earlier than us, any information helps! You might want to post on that forum and ask - I found we could download the P3 and just send it in once we knew they had our case, and if you're supposed to get one, they may not schedule the interview until the Embassy receives it, so I would suggest making sure. Good luck!

Looks like they dont sent a P3, i download the forms and take them to the embassy on the interview date, i checked on every VJ member dealing with the DR embassy, and non of them have the p3... DOS told Honey we are getting a package with the interview date and to schedule the medical, nothing else, i will wait then... it takes a few more weeks... I ask to a closed timelines with DR embassy and didnt get anything, just the interview date and papers to bring...

Ok, so today i feel better, just still sleepy from last night out, people still called at 7:30am to a home on a sat morning, Jesus... now i cant sleep again and have to work later until 8:00pm... sucks...

I can't believe you still don't have it, that's ridiculous. Then again, a fellow January filer only just got their NOA2 the other day.. if only there was an actual system in the USCIS and it was first come first serve. I know how you feel. It sucked seeing people who had an RFE after me get approved BEFORE me.. like.. are you serious? Really? Ugh.

I took a break from VJ for a while too. It hurts seeing everyone progress after you when you're still stuck on square one. I made a wish for that January filer on a shooting star and a few days later it came true.. I'll go star spotting tonight and try to do my best for you, too. I hope it works. I think its one way we have coped with the visa process, shopping lmao. Ken and I did alot while he was deployed in Iraq last year, we got the appartment and then bought things for it online together, same as the wedding plans, alot of it has been done together online. Itkeeps you busy and focused on the goal, rather then the time its taking.

No, My Honey is from PA, a little town named Pottstown, but we are going to live in NJ...Is a nice place, close to the train station, little restaurants, malls close to Us, very confortable... Our plan is similar to yours for a little wedding in PA, just sign the papers, a few pics and dinner with family and friends, happy my parents and brothers are going to be there with me, they are flying to NJ...

solmarc, were you able to find out if DR does a packet 3?

UK, we had to shift medical dates around due to medical scheduling silliness, she would have had to travel for ~10 hours to do it, or we'll just do it together. Together it is. While we should be able to get the results on the same day, it seems it's not the case for us, next day only. No worries, just a minor annoyance in the path.

I think we don't have anyone still waiting on NOA2 at least, right?

I am falling up with this girl that has the interview tomorrow and her boyfriend cant come, she is being giving me info about procedures, i am praying for her, because she is going tomorrow alone to the interview. UK, good luck with the kiddies! There are some times when I look forward to having kids, and some times that I relay don't. I was with my Mom today at lunch and there were 4 little kids and 1 toddler standing in the queue for food and they were just loud and hyper and being kids and the toddler started crying and the Moms looked like they wanted to shoot themselves. Those are one of the times where I'm not so sure about kids, lol.

And don't worry about them moving around. I moved around the country and around the world 9 times so far, from California to New Jersey to England and so on and I turned out okay, right? They'll probably really appreciate it in the long run and I hope they get to keep their accents as they grow older, it'll help them gain friends/hot dates later on in life! Hehehe.

We're still waiting on packet 3 too. I was viewing the few previous timelines around here and it seems the packet 3 wait can be from a few days to a month, but if he doesn't get it by Friday I'll start calling and complaining and people will feel my impatient, bridal wrath.

I feel bad cause the one who is feeling my impatient is my Honey, i am driving him crazy, my family and of course i already am, specially after coming from my last visit before i get my visa.... i did the same too, looking at past timelines, to see how long it tAKES, so i guess you can be lucky or not receiving it... DOS already said they haven't sent it, so i guess next week we will call again.

They told me that i am receiving the interview date on that envelope, and documents to fill and medical info, so i can do the medical, i dont know if i have to sent anything back, looks in my Country, and for the timelines, sometimes they never get the p3... I have no idea if i am getting something i have to return or not, i just want this thing to be over,and get into another one, the residense card, lol... most important for me, being an independent person, GET A JOB!!! ...

Please people, dont get like me, all crazy and cranky,be patience, is something that God havent give me and i havent even try to cultivate it... really bad, bad girl...

Yesterday i called our Postal office asking if they got a package for me, they dont have anything, ... I was sooo sad so my SO called DOS today, they said they havent sent the P3 here, oh i am soooo sad, at least they told him the embassy has our case... i am going to keep calling DOS to see for when, i am desperate...

You think we should call DOS, we just received two weeks ago the mail of NVC with the case number... I called today to our postal service, horrible, they told me they dont have anything

The P3 contents is Embassy specific, and some don't have one at all. It's generally just an information checklist of what is needed at the interview, and another general bio info form about the beneficiary.

Ohhh, thats why some of the PPL of K1 visa that i see here, they dont have a P3 in their timeline... in the NVC letter they said to check the specifics for our embassy and didn't have any... so probably what i will received is the P4... thats what i am guessing...
