  1. I like this :

    Matthew 25:35-40

35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, [1] you did it to me.’

    Acts 20:35

35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

But it must be balanced when giving to others as not to enable someone:

    2 Thessalonians 3

8] Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:

[9] Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

[10] For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

[11] For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.

    1 Thessalonians 4

9 But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; 10 and indeed you do so toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more; 11 that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, 12 that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.

  2. Good news!!!!!!!! (??????) If anyone finds any global warming, in about January...send it on to Vermont.

BTW I do not envy you there My old bones can not take to much cold.

I am sort of glad Mom stopped managing that old resort area in Green Mts area back in the 70's

  3. I understand. Would you entertain the possibility that the poster posted the topic as a way of trying to gain support for his stated position by casting doubt on the credibility of some of those who support the opposing position, rather than as an attempt to stir up controversy?

Unfortunately, there is no way for you to edit your original post as you only have 5 minutes after it is posted within which to edit and that time has passed.

    Absolutely

I would say it is fair to state that all Anti Immigrant supporters are Anti Illegal immigrant but not all Anti Illegal Immigrant supporters are Anti Immigrant.

Which is why it is unfair to mislable or represent postions to try and confuse or manipulate people.

I basically reposted the post and edited how I how and what I said. not sure if the orginal can be removed.

  4. Steve and BY

My apologies to you both for the original of this post

I have revamped what should have been stated.

Had a glance at the site, looks like Bigot is the new liberal catchphrase used to divert legitimate discussion.

Strange how not one of these pathetic sites touches why no other first world countries have open borders and quite the opposite policies actually.

Also quite typical of you to support anyone who discredits legitimate concerns because apparently some other group have their own agenda. What was it libs like yourself were beating on about regarding not all Muslims being the culprit, therefore, concerns were null and void. Funny how this goes straight out the window, the second you believe in something, as you then look for the extreme - to claim it's the norm.

It seems we will never convince Open Border Advocates of any controlled immigration.

They are so socialistic in society that they do not realize the dangers of not removing the illegals and controling immigration.

I have not heard or read of one of these Open border advocates (liberal or conserative) that do not either promote the exploitation of the Illegals or want so many entitlements it would bankrupt our nation.

Realistically, why shouldn't legal immigration be monitored too? The US is hurting, millions of Americans are out of work.

Logically speaking, why would any unskilled migrants be required? In this economy, only the most skilled and essential should be allowed to migrate.

Or family petitiones for marriage or under age children especially at this time.

I'm calling you out on what you post, what's the problem with that? You post nothing but negatives about this country and it's in EVERY post you make. What does that imply about you?

I did not see any in his post

I may not agree with all his views but there are some common ground issues I agree with By on and immigration is one.

  5. Nicely written and worded, thank you.

The only problem I have is that there is nothing in the original article that discusses open Border advocacy so that is the topic that has been introduced by others into the discussion, attributing that as the intent of the OP when there was nothing in the article to suggest it.

    Thank you.

I also agree the article does not mention Open border advocacy but the article is about groups who oppose immigration all together which would infer closed borders.

I was showing the likely hood of the author making use of the anti-immigration lable which is used by open border advocates to lable people who are anti-illegal immigration as the same as these people referred to in the article.

It is understood and supported by the OP willingness to openly defend open border laws, illegal immigrants and amnesty for the same in previous topics. always referencing liberal media, professors, other OB advocates and even stating constittuionality of such support. This si not to bait or enflame his opion that he has a right to have.

This would correlate to the intent of the OP posting the article as such as decribed above.

I also defer to you my original post in this topic as inappropriate and will change the post (if I am able to do so.)

  6. Actually, the topic is being interpreted as a bait post by you but in and of itself it is not a bait post. It is a news story that states an organization stating it has lots of supporters financing it actually has few supporters with big pockets financing it. The 'attribution' of attitudes about the content of the article to individuals has not been made by Steven but by others who are making suppositions totally unrelated to the article in question. The article - and the included links - clearly state 'immigration' - not 'illegal-immigration'. The groups involved are not anti-illegal immigration only - they target both legal and illegal immigrants. The members here have turned it around to assume the group does not mean legal immigrant, only illegal immigrants and are using that to attack the OP. That is not what is presented in the article nor the links. Therefore, the comments being made are baiting and they are trolling as they are distorting the information presented in the article to be used as an attack on the OP.

    With this being said above

The author of the article seems to be clearly trying to distort the point of view of the populace by utilizing the now mantra of open Border advocates which calls anyone who is anti Illegal immigration a person that is anti immigration.

The reason they have little support is because very few people are against legal immigration;even wealthy people can have poor judgment or lean to far to one area.

The people who stand against Open border laws that promote illegal immigration are no the same which should have been made clear in the article.

    IMO.

I would appreciate feeback form a mod whether this was a more appropriate response to the posted article. PM is ok or public thanks

  7. I hope these are things you have discussed with her.

I agree you must do what is needed to allow her to feel at home and establish roots as this will be her house as well as yours.

I plan to maintain my normal activities when Joy arrives but will allow the day to day activities to dictate some changes to allow her to know she is more important than any habits or personal rules I may have.

  8. What does a life time ban mean in this instance? I am sure he can never enter any Tescos wearing the T-Shirt and the store where they nabbed him might recognize him for a while, but without wearing the t-shirt how the hell does Tescos know who this kid is in order to turn him away?

I think this habit of wearing pyjamas outside is odd -how did it start anyway? Are there not enough sloppy outdoor clothes?

I like to wear my slippers to the convenient store if I have to make a late or early run. Is that Odd?

Not all that ironic. Some country's are sick and tired of immigrants....

More like immigrants trying to impose the culture or ####### laws they left behind in the country they are migrating from.

    Or

Sick and Tired of the Illegal immigraiton that do the same as I mentioned above not to mention the illegal activities they live under and expect those countries to accept.

  9. I would say it is because women offer a better value, and they should be proud if it, rather than try and run themselves out of the market by raising the price. I would say the women should start a new campaign such as "Women...offering employers better value since 1956" or something like that. What d'ya think?

What value are you thinking is better?

I would say values are equal in what men and women offer for each individual job they seek. Men can be more assertive while women may be empathetic both have equal value in strength and weakness in the work force.

  10. I'm actually surprised by ######'s post because I know that many employers seek out Filipinos for their dedication to their work. Last year, a local company in our city hired a Pinay and they were very happy with her work performance that they decided to hire another Pinay. With two Pinays already under their payroll, this same company added another position last week. I know this sounds discriminatory but the American boss specifically said he wanted Pinay workers.

And I know this for sure because the last Pinay hired was me good.gif

Just by my visits and friends I have here I believe this to be true

Speaking in short cut manner is something that has been a part of pinoy culture.

My husband and I have had few funny moments when I asks him, "have you seen my cell charger?" and whenever I say "I'm "LOW-BATT"

and he would usually correct me for saying it properly to " My battery is low"

So, to fellows who are learning your S.O's culture.. its just natural if we say things in crooked, So its something that the spouse has to learn and adjust.

  11. I noticed the Silver climb but I do not think it is stable enough to buy in for long term.

I beefed the gold purchasing in mid 2008

Was on a forum the other day where a guy recommended buying precious metals. He says he regularly buys gold and silver (but buys 70% silver / 30% gold with each purchase).

He said he uses silver saver (dot com) to make regular weekly $30 deposits, straight from his bank.

It seems like a decent idea but I'm wondering if you guys may have a different opinion.

    Here is the site: http://silversaver.com

Does it seem legit...I just don't like paying fees. I could simply buy 1 share of SLV each week and could avoid fees that way. But then again I probably wouldn't be as disciplined in making the purchases each week...

    Good or bad idea?

I wouldn't do Auto purchases unless your comfortabel with the compnay itself.

  12. I don't know where you live but it sounds like you are a mid-westerner. Therefore, "those of us who do work blue collar jobs that earn over 100K a year if not more" is not the norm, certainly not in the mid-west; which not only looks like an abandoned ghost ship, but is also reflected by the high unemployment rates and extremely low property prices.

I read all of your other points, yet none of them illustrate or explain how those you call socialist, are beating [almost annihilating] you in the area you value the most - money.

I am in the Midwest and do not think my job is out of the norm I work for a fast food company for christ sakes.

Actually I stated that they will be as they are always and will never get better nor have a chance of bettering their situation.

If the economy gets hit hard there it is not a small percentage that takes the hit it is the enire nation.

It's not hard to believe at all. I personally want to support republicans, as I detest various ideologies of lib yanks, but they just make it too hard.

I think it's quite obvious to why so many professors do not support Repubs, as the party is going in an extreme direction. Realistically, how can anyone support a party who says country first, yet flat-out refuses to invest in America or on Americans? Unless it comes to military, as even borrowing a gazillion dollars for that is cool.

I think even an elementary student, who has not been brainwashed by their parents, can see the problem with that rationale.

Both Repubs and libs go extreme in their own way thinking they will hit a medium. We all know this is not true.

I moved from a liberal stand point in 2009 but find it hard to take some of the Republican views as well.

I will say this I will advocate for the removal of Obama and his adminstration no matter what.

  13. Sorry for the late reply some of us Blue Collar workers who work in Poor America unlike the secluded Isle of Australia that has 2 cities on it worth mentioning had to work. Oh BTW there are those of us who do work blue collar jobs that earn over 100K a year if not more; so your biased view of the American worker is flawed.

What about Canada and Australia or various other European or Asian nations that are doing well? The reality is that Keynesian economics has taken a number of those countries to the forefront. Keynesian economics is not socialism. All of the public projects conducted in AUS are done so using private companies. Various projects are even public /private partnerships. While you sit there and listen to talkshows and various people [Tea-party/Libertarian/Greedy Repubs] telling you how bad and wrong the rest of the world is, it's the average Joe - the Gary equivalents - over there that can literally purchase 6 houses in Peoria by selling their one house in Melb. What does that tell you about whose system works best to deliver the goal of Capitalism?

It tells me your housing market is bubbeling and when it pops the Grand Country of Australia will not have the economic means to recover just like we are seeing in other countries were the economy is collapsing.

That's a typical rebuttal to these things, that if you do not support our way, then you are basically communist or socialist; group em all together hey. Social democracies are next-gen [modern] first world countries, where people are:

    • Paid a fair wage - Minimum wage $13 USD an hour. Yep and pricing goes up accordingly so Minimum wage is BS for the most part
    • Where the government elected by the people looks out what is best for the people, rather than the business alone. So you are saying that the Goverment needs to ensure no one gets rich and if they do take it and give it to others to make it equal.
    • where their government actually invests in their country to improve [lift] their Q.O.L. I agree to this somewhat but tell me hat does Australia have as a Military defense to protect its people.............................................
    • Modern and maintained towns, roads, infrastructure, cities, parks for families, lack of ghettos etc. Aus has 4 major cities maybe, so what else do you have worth noting
    • Receive a number of benefits while working: health care, 4 weeks vacation, adequate sick pay. Most working Americans working full time have this but you ignore this fact porting most likely what a part time employee gains.
    • A welfare system actually designed to get people on their feet. Yes it does I know a number of Aussies that prefrred not to work but get thier UE checks until they had to do the community work.
    • Private SS system, as well as a backup government pension for those who can least afford it. I think a SS system where the feds can not touch it is a good thing but to prevent or dole the money owed to the reciepients should not be a dictated amount based on their own earnings while in the work force.
    • Immigration is monitored and adjusted accordingly to the country's needs. I agree we need this but truly how many refugees and Illegals try to come there now.
    • Illegal Aliens are almost non-existent and it's almost impossible to function in the society as one - no free lunch ever. I also agree with this but who would be the Illegal tryign to get to a remote Isle like Aus

is a far far stretch from Communism, let alone Socialism. I guess you do not want any of those things. Ahh but it is Socialism but you wish to ignore it because it keeps you happy that no one else can get ahead of you nor do you have to think about what you could have as better.

Are you for real? No college education means shitty job and shitty pay in the US. This isn't Australia bud, where Blue-collar workers earn well over $100K. Now, I don't agree with the low pay blue-collar workers earn here, considering the work they do. Yet did you expect otherwise? When you have an endless supply, south of the border and greedy businesses.

Ignorant reply that is not 100% true.

I have 0 collge Eduation. I have a felony in my history and I earn a 6 figure income. Was it easy no is it possible yes.

I also agree adamantly the south border needs closed and illgals pushed out and strong laws adopted to penalize those who employ illegals and strong laws that prevent illegals from getting any public assitance on the tax payers dime.

Here is a prime example of a culture and attitude that I have been referring to for years, that many of the left-wing clowns on here deny. This attitude is why middle-American states are poor and backwards, third world poor by various standards. Are you referring to the poorer inner city or the southern States where they look to be poor. (Big deference)

I know what the problem is though and you and I have argued about this before; all about perception. Don't take this in the wrong way but the way you see yourself financially and living standard wise versus those in the Philippines [for example], is how people in various other first world countries view themselves compared to middle Americans. To us, you are the Philippines, you just do not see this.

Actually I do not complare my lifestyle to soemone in th Phillipines or in any other country that is you justifing your own judgemntal views of how you live.

Personally I think most 3rd workd cultures spur mor industrious and capitalistic thinking individuals because they must do it to survive with out jobs; if the educational system in these coutries were better then they possibly would in time rival any other country over time.

You see us as 3rd world we see Australia as a limited country where the individual has no motivation to do better.

  14. Seriously get off it and don't try to bust my balls over a pic I posted. I'm 46 years old and witnessed what "Reaganomics" did for my family. Now you want facts instead of a funny pic...click the link down below. I work for a living ..construction work on the North Slope (Arctic Ocean) in weather you probably couldn't imagine. Same with half my family. So instead of making ####### insinuations about me and working for a living, save your bs for some sucker like yourself.

Not all of us just dreamed the Reagan days, some of us were actually there. And no Reagan did not sole handily bring down the USSR. That was done over a span of decades and it was done with economics.

    http://en.wikipedia....sidential_terms

No one is busting your balls for anything. You posted a derogatory pic on Reagan and his Administration with no facts. you fail

No one really cares what your 16 year old mind saw back then for the most part you were deep into teen drama as any other teen of that age and was most likely only influenced by what your parents allowed you to see or hear.

If your entire repertoire of facts is from Wiki then you are in serious trouble. Serious!

Really it is your choice and your family's to live and work were you do so what was the point of that of this statment unless you thinkk it entitles you to more than what you or your labors are worth. is that the Case?

OOOO "you did not dream the reagan days" being 46 makes you so wise and epxerienced in the days of the 80's at least in politics world wide.

I tell you what put the Shovel down and do some research and use more than one source for learning you might find even a 46 year old construction worker has a mind and can learn.

    regardig the Red.

While Economics was a major factor in bringing down the curtain; it was the unwavering determination of Reagan that prevented food supplies from going to the USSR until such a time as USSR admitted to its aggressive expansionism. It wsn't until after the USSR was starting to fall apart that he allowed grain sales to the USSR. There were many that worked against such actions wanting to sell grain early on and oil which the Soviets could have afforded but world sanctions prevented much of it to be sold to them. If Reagan had caved in to the pressures of these demands the Reaganomics would have happened quicker with less debt yet most likely probability is that the the curtain would be standing today and expanding.

BS. It was not done over decades. Reagan was a huge part of bringing down the curtain and Russia. I was also there as you like to say and even served in the military during the time and spent much time seeing that Iron curtain and even the DMZ in Korea and fighting insurgency. So don't tell me that Regan finally having the balls to engage in more than words and outspend the Inhumane regime didn't make a difference. It made all the difference. Before all we got was talk and acting like scared kids to bullies and trying to accommodate people who wanted no accommodation. So before you act like you know it all because you are a working stiff like me than you show ignorance. Only one man came along and lifted America up out of our depths we had fallen. Who is your hero? Carter?

America was as beaten down as can be and someone brought us out of it and that man was Reagan. The decades you talk about had seen America weaken and almost defeated ourselves.

Sure he sent a lot arms worldwide to start a fight with any that would fight the good fight against communists and we even had a doomsday clock that kept telling us that we were closer than at any time to total worldwide destruction and they kept pushing it closer to midnight as Reagan awakened us and pushed us to rise up but then something happened that I believed would never happen and it was after Reagan told them to tear down the wall. The wall came crashing down spectacularly. I stayed awake late those nights watching the wall come down and people poured over and celebrate. I was stunned to witness this in my lifetime. No man can claim more credit than this achievement than Reagan.

Who before him can claim any credit. Carter? LOL. Ford? LOL. Nixon? Not hardly. Johnson? Get real. Kennedy? Don't start me laughing. Eisenhower? Lame excuse for a president. Truman? He engaged at least but was scared of a second rate power. Roosevelt? I blame him more than anyone for allowing Stalin to keep power. So who and what did the preceding decades do to merit any thought on someone finally having the balls to kick the Soviet Union over?

We were the only credible super power left after the wall came down and what did we do? We decided to throw our vast wealth away on being a world wide policeman. We started placing troops in over a hundred countries and threatening the world to kowtow to what we wanted them to be and spent our goodwill in the process.

The main thing I can give Reagan credit for and that is with just his words he could raise up this great nation and make us feel good to be Americans again. He could piss off our adversaries with his words but have them shaking in fear but the best part is he didn't just talk but he backed it up with action and that is what brought the great changes.

  15. A common fallacy of liberals/dems whatever, is that they expect that they can force their agenda on private companies or business in general, from tax policy to health care, and that business will just accept that they will have lower profit and continue on as they have. They think they can repeatedly "beat" business, take it out on them, make them "pay" and that business will just accept it and continue to offer benefits and goodies.

Implement a law "requiring" them to cover anyone for anything and one of two things will happen. The price will go WAY HIGH or the coverage will cease to exist. Period.

Our tax system has driven a huge sector of what used to be good jobs, jobs that supported families, right out of this country. This along with the fact that the businesses have to find a cheaper way to get product in your hands to compete in a market when more and more of their costs are government mandates, and we see quality falling as well. It is getting difficult to find anything made in the USA anymore. The best jobs in this country were not taken by illegal immigrants, but by foreign workers that have never been to the USA. When you see "Made in China" (or Vietnam, Indonesia, Mexico, etc.) What it really means in "Made where we did not have to pay for ridiculous government mandates" It also means..."You voted for Obama, we voted for China"

We are going to see more and more loss of jobs and services. I am not sure that wasn't the plan anyway since it iwll put the government in the position of "having to be" a single payor system.

  16. Unlike Republican talkshow hosts of course, many who are dropouts or have no college education whatsoever. Nothing wrong with that either, but then don't claim you know everything about economics. I heard that tea-party candidate from Delaware claim Keynesian economics does not work. Seems to have worked well during the depression and to keep China steaming ahead. When I looked at her background, she had dropped out of her "communications" major in 93.

Keynesian economics is not long term friendly; huge debts & Gov't policiest that never go away - taxes are raised to pay interest on the debt not the debt.

While a mix of economic policies are needed with a balance it is save to say a gov't following only Keynes Law ousting classical believes will spend itself into a whole.

China began its great change and economic growth with a social gov't where the gov't had the money not the people.

I see 2 possible out comes in the future of China

    1. The economic success of a few will challange the Socialist Party and bring change to the gov't (Greed grows in all)

    2. China will indeed reach a point when its own GDP will not efficiently maintain the stimulusit must inject into its economy to maintain the Keynesian economics.

Not an economist and only history will tell hat happens.

Professors are not the problem here, the issue is that intelligent people have become full of doubt, while the fools who know nothing cocksure. Palin might be a pretty-face, be she knows FA about economics. On the other hand, the two wealthiest people in the world are democrats. Personally I tend to want to listen to people much smarter and wealthier than me.

Please tell me what non capitalist plan they followed to get where they are.

Yes listening and following success tends to lad to success. Listening to someone tell you what you are entitiled to and then expecting it leads to lazyness.

Unlike Republican talkshow hosts of course, many who are dropouts or have no college education whatsoever ( are you speaking of the working person?)

while a college education is quite helpful tell me how many actual jobs there are besides speacialist jobs that require a degree?

Specialist jobs = doctor; Engineer, lawyer, etc.

those who can, do. those who can't, teach. punk.gif

While it can be said of some I do not agree 100%.

I think it should be more like

Those who choose to make it Happen make it Happen; Those who choose to teach then teach

  17. I'm wondering what to think here. Having made several trips to the Philippines, I can attest that I feel as safe there as I do at home. I don't go around with lots of money, I stay with my sweetheart, I try not to make myself look conspicuous. Its hard to blend into the crowd where we live in Cubao, but maybe I'm less of a target than in places like Angeles or Subic, where a lot of Americans congregate. My Filipino co-worker who lives in GenSan said I should just write off most of the island of Mindanao, for my own safety.

I had some of my fiancee's relatives asking me what I thought of the Hostage-Taking situation at the Qurino Grandstand, and I told them "dumb things like this happen every day all over the world...that day it happened here."

I agree I feel the same with My Fiance.

Do filipinas get "taken"? like they are objects without minds?

I thought they went of their own will.

Maybe they want Americanos, because Americanos don't treat filipinas like objects.

    Americanos "taking" filipinas?

Not all Americanos treat Filipinas respectfully.

with that said according to Joy she belives most filipino men are womanizers so maybe the filipino men feel threatened socially by the thought of an Americano being one.

Two trips to Butuan City, Mindanao this year. Not once did I feel threatened. Yes I stick out in a crowd. Everywhere I went, the people were so very nice. Great place! Wish I could say that about the south side of Chicago.

  18. We have been using MJ since the beginning of this year. We speak to each other just about every morning (& sometime we speak 2-3 times a day) - my wife is also my alarm clock :P Mine too she insists that she call to wake me.

e get very good voice quality, I can hear everything in the background, even the people on the street talking/playing & the roosters. :D

People have been talking about the issues that they have/had but we haven't encounter any....yet. Maybe it is because of our connections - She have broadband & I use Optimum Voice.

Also for call details records - I do it on my end via Optimum Voice. Optimum Voice records every call I make & received, I sorted the call records by caller, then I printed out the report showing all calls made to & from the MJ. I also included an explanation about the MJ - who we communicate on it, who is using it, etc, ect, ect,.

We talk for hours each day and the quality is very good.

  19. Yes they do! I remember purchasing health insurance when I was in college and it stipulated that I can not get more than 6 x-rays per calender year. If that is not rationing, what is it?

And it is against the TOS to call me (or anyone) sweetie.

    Ok your not so Sweet.

The exit polls have nothing to do with it. Neither this administration nor the GOP have any intention of reigning in the insurance companies at this point. The GOP I can understand. But this administration had the opportunity to incorporate said controls in the Bill, but withdrew them. Why?

I said at the time, and I'm even more certain now, that this Bill was a "legacy" item, something to say "Look, we passed Healthcare Reform!" despite the content falling woefully short of what this country needs and deserves from its elected representatives. It is a sham, a sell-out, a sop to vested interests, weighed down with opt-outs, buy-offs and sweetheart deals made to buy enough votes to pass the Bill.

And if you think that this administration being in bed with the insurance companies makes a lie of the GOP's opinion that Obama hates business, you need to take off those rose-tinted spectacles. Just make sure your insurance covers them. ;)

I agree that it is possible that he is in bed with the ins industry but I truly think it was his own blind frustration to pass a subpar health reform bill that will ultimately cost future tax payers several percenatage points in taxes.

Many believe that they did not recieve enough from Reaganomics but those are mostly people who believe life owes them entitlements and wealth not what they create themselves.

If you wish to contribute facts then please do so; the believe that you were owed more in life than you got is BS either your lieing to yourself or your parents lied to you.

But I respect that your right as an American to turn blind eyes to what he really did for us as a President.

  21. You shouldn't really need a computer to run MJ. Check out the other MJ thread on here. You can use a standard ATA w/ your MJ subscription info. It takes a bit of investigation to get it to work, but it's been done.

Please forgive my ignorance; what is an ATA?
