  1. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

It sounds like he had the much feared Blonde American interviewing. I am so happy for you. It does make one wonder how some interviews go so easy and they do not bother looking at evidence requested to bring and others they ask for evidence and it's shown and they deny them. I'm hoping there are reasons for this for all our sakes and its not just based on Prejudice on looks or age. It makse us all scared of the dreadful interviews that we have much anticipated and waited so long for. For my sake, I'm glad my husband doesn't seem worried. He seems calm and says we love each other and everything will be ok, cause he says he will just tell the truth. Decisions will lie in that interviewer's hands. I hope we get good news like you too.

Be sure to keep us posted and let us know how he likes his new adjustments at his new home....Wishing you much happiness!!!!

  2. I just want to express my opinion on this subject.

The CO is correct on the fact there are Lots of Moroccan men scamming women for Visa's sometimes taking the US woman or UK woman or Canadian woman for all her money...THOUSANDS...and thousands in debt and also asks her to INVEST in properties in their countries. Its not only Moroccan men but Egyptian men and other countries are the same. I read Daniel Pipes blogs on discouraging women from marrying Moroccan men, Eqyptian men and just MUSLIM men in general.....so many women have been scammed and not know it, because they want love so bad, but at the same time...there were RED FLAGS in the relationship that the women ignored but had a GUT FEELING and still chose to ignore...so these women are on blogs hating ALL MOROCCAN or MUSLIM men and warning ladies to stay clear of Arabic men. Most of these women are calling the consulate in Morocco and they are complaining BIG TIME, but most there on that blog had put themselves in this situation and allowed him to use her and knew of cheating relationships and other on-line contacts and chose to forgive the fiance's......there is no arguing with the women on this DP site...(type in Moroocan men) and you will find the site. I started out posting not agreeing with the fact they were referring to ALL MUSLIMS are rats, dogs, cheaters, scammers, etc. My husband is accused of being the SAME cause I am 9 years older but most women on that site and in scamming relationships are as much as 20-30 years older than the man......My husband has never accepted money from me....his family paid for BOTH our wedding rings, they paid for my Kaftan and bought my kids gifts, he will pay his own flight ticket, he works hard and long hours for a measley $400 a month...He has been in Arabic/Lebanese movie series, a chauffer for major hotel resort, self employeed- sold refreshments and sweets on the beach last summer to earn his living there to not take from me (cause I have kids to provide for-he says, lol) anyway...there are posters there who say my husband looks like a boy next to me in our wedding photos, they have called me ugly and old, pretty much says cause i have 3 kids I have too much baggage for him to really LOVE me....they even implied they could tell by my photos our marriage is a scam,lol......but the way I see it is...people on the outside looking in DOES NOT know your relationship or private things you have been through, conversations, how he handles himself and his character and morals and those of his family so its EASY for others to judge others. My advice to all is make the best of your marriages and prove all others wrong.....Work together and be happy....My husband once said we all need to "Love with eyes wide open" I think he is right. I wish everyone a successful marriage and fast Visa Journey.

  3. Hello VJ Members. We are September I-130 filers. Wow reading here in this forum, it seems all other countries other than the Arabic ones seem to move faster! Our case approached 4 months before we get a notice of a 'RFE". I didn't realize at USCIS they would request the Original Arabic/Moroccan marriage certificate. I had the Original translated into English with the Moroccan seal and stamp, but this was not enough for USCIS. 9 he could easily showed the original Arabic copy at the US Embassy at his interview) ........ Dummy me, did not bring the Original back to USA so we are waiting the 3-4 weeks for the mail to deliver it here for me to send overnight back to USCIS. I sent a copy of the translated English marriage document so I will make sure this time around to also attach the "Original/translated" copy and original birth certificate....question for anyone who may be dealing with USCIS married to an Arabic/Moroccan

    1) Do I send the police certificate to USCIS or wait and send to NVC? USCIS did not send an RFE for it. Just the Arabic marriage copy requested only at this time. ....I would hate USCIS to delay our case by asking for more. Do you think this is all the RFE's they will ask for or has anyone experience USCIS asking for second after sending first RFE? Moroccan Police Certificates are stamped as an Extract of Police Certificate and good for 3 months....also, is this the correct Certificate they require? My copy on hand without getting my husband to acquire another is dated April 23, 2009 thru July 23, 2009. I am going to get my husband to get a more current but since our case is on hold, and certificate is good for 3 months only, when should I get him to get certificate to stay valid? I would HATE for this new one to EXPIRE too. USCIS or NVC gets police certificate??? Thanks for any advice or help in advance....Lisa
