we finally had our interview today and it could not have gone better. we were approved on the spot and the immigration officer was as friendly as possible given the situation. we got asked:
    - when/where we met
    - when/where we got married
    - where honeymoon
    - if my wife left the country since last entry (in 2006 - overstay). no other questions about the overstay
that's about it. we had lots of documents (checking and savings accounts, retirement accounts, life insurance, health insurance, car insurance, car loan, cell phone bills, dental insurance, affidavit from landlord, joint credit cards, tons of photos, wedding album, etc.). He looked through everything and added it to our file. He told us we were approved and gave us the info about filing for removal of conditions.
can't believe we're finally approved! thanks to everyone here for your help on here - it kept me sane during this time. i'm going to try to disappear for the next year or more so i stop obsessing over immigration stuff, but i'm sure i'll be back when the time comes. Congrats, everyone, and good luck to the folks still waiting!

    Hello again my friends.
Yesterday was our interview and I have to say that it was so easy it barely looked like an interview. We were approved in no time at all. The IO only asked a few sporadic questions like "how we met", "were do I work", "if me or Cory has any previous children" and "if we plan to have any kids soon". Then he asked for evidence of our relationship which we provided and he kept. He didn't even need to see any of our photos. That was it. The rest looked more like a friendly conversation.
He then proceeded to explain us what will happen next, when we need to apply for removal of conditions and when to apply to citizenship. He put a stamp in Cory's passport and said that it was as valid as the GC until it comes in the mail.
Needless to say we were very impressed by how easy it was. One word of advice for those still waiting for the interview: Don't assume that the officer will not ask "x" or "y" question. Go as prepared as you can like we did. Like I like to say.... "Always prepare for the worse, then any surprise will be pleasant".
Thank you to VJ and all it's helpful members and to God most of all.
    PEACE............

To be honest it all depends on whoever is deciding or handling your case. In our own case, we didn't send in the I-693 with the AOS application as it was still within the 1 year frame. And everything was ok...no RFE. Even at the interview it wasn't mentioned at all. But I have seen some few cases here on this website, especially with those who filed in December, 2009 they received alot of RFE for not including the I-693.
So it's entirely up to you if you want take the risk like we did. Or if you want to play safe and avoid RFE you might just get a civil surgeon to transfer your vaccination record/ information unto the vaccination section/part on form I-693,and have it signed and sealed by the surgeon. That shouldn't be a problem for the civil surgeon to do, though they will charge for this service.
I hope this helps and I wish you good luck with your application.
