Interesting. Mine was there. I had received an email that said the card was shipped. The tracking number was missing on the email but was online. Did you receive an email that your card was shipped or only that you were approved?

Go to: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis put in your reciept number and click check status. Your tracking number will be there.

I got an email on May 3, that the cards were in the mail and I just received them! Card date: May 6, 2013. Good luck to all who are waiting and see you in the citizenship forum in August!!

From what I've read, in order to change your name on the N-400 you need to have the ceremony performed by a judge and not an immigration official. According to the source, some field offices do this a few times a year and some never. I think the best thing to do is call your local field office and ask.

My wife and stepdaughter were just approved for ROC and I didn't include ANY bank statements. I went to my bank and had the bank manager write a letter on bank letterhead stating that Tanya and I had an active checking account since 2010.
I also included:
joint health insurance
life policy showing my wife a beneficiary
photos of us throughout our marriage
2 notarized letters from friends
2 years tax return transcripts.
title to our car
marriage certificate.

Well, My stepdaughter is traveling to Ukraine on May 4th. I've pretty much given up hope that the green cards will show up before she leaves.
-
I too have not received an approval or RFE

I wouldn't expect anything for at least 3 more months. (and I think realistically 4 to 5 months) Sit tight, at least we all have our extensions and our loved ones are with us while we wait.

At the end of the two year green card you are to send in proof of bonafide marriage. It's done so Uncle Sam can weed the fake marriages from the real ones. If you do nothing and let her card expire she must return to her home country. When you Is she is having trouble adjusting to the US or to being married? She might have grounds to adjust without you under certain circumstances.

Happy Holidays to all the August 2012 filers!

Yep...we've officially cranked out baby number 2, an 8 lb 14 oz girl. I've got one of each now and thank God, they both look more like her than me!
Anyway, long story short, the doctor told us the baby had not descended very far so I was mentally bracing for a long day. Ah...but this is a Ukrainian woman...
My wife almost shot the baby out on the very first push and the doctor had to tell her to stop because she wasn't ready yet. After the doc finally got into her catcher's gear and lined up on the plate, it was over in about 20 seconds.
All is well and we're back at home reminiscing about how we used to sleep.
I'll have to stop back in and see what everyone is up to when I get more time (probably in about 18 years eh?). Hope all the RUB regulars are doing well.
Congrats!!

We filed a I-751 for my wife in October. We included her 15 year old son on Part 5 of the Form as he came to USA as a K2 child with her originally. We recieved my wife's NOA1 on Oct 18, but we have not recieved a NOA1 for our son. Should we recieve a separate NOA1 for him also? We have recieved separate Biometric appointments for both my wife and son.
I called USCIS yesterday and the agent told me that they do not send out separate NOA1 for the child, and if we wanted to leave the country that we would need to go to the local office and get a stamp in his passport. Is this correct??? Because in January his conditional green card will expire and i would think that we would need to have an official letter (same as my wife's NOA1/extension letter) for him also???
Has there be others here that have recieved individual NOA1's for thier child that was included on the I-751 form?
You will get a separate one for the child. It will be worded differently than your spouses letter. I waited 30 days and then had to call the 800 number to get my stepdaughter's letter because hers never arrived the first time. They will not send you a replacement letter until after 30 days.

Speaking about Ukrainian hotties, my step-daughter has been having a great time in the last 4 months: Helicopter rides, horse back riding on the beach, Water skiing, expensive dinners in Boca Raton and Miami and at least 2 proposals of marriage. I told her whoever she ends up marrying owes me all the money I spent on visas, AOS and ROC so far!

Do a search for VJ member "MCat" and read his posts. I am convinced it was all a fiction drama, our own little VJ soap opera
Long story short, MCAT was engaged to a Super HOT Ukrainian woman (nothing new there) who was a stripper. She got here and started stripping right away for cash...no EAD of course, and was having sex with everyone except her poor, long suffering finacee, MCat, who was forced to observe all this going on in his apartment...and he would keep asking what to do? What to do? No matter what, he did the wrong thing, something like...
"She is bringing men home and I can hear them having sex, but she does not have sex with me. What should I do?"
Everyone would tell him to dump her, send her back...next post
"Well we talked about it and she said if I marry her and file her AOS she will give me sex"
You just HAVE to read the posts. I am sure they are archived. For those of us who know, those of us with "the knowledge" that he chose a Ukrainian woman to play the part of his fiancee made it all, somehow, believable.
They just fit well into James Bond movies, fashion modeling, sex scandals.
I miss MCat

Hello Everybody,
My fiancé and I are on this long and winding road to unity. All your experiences and input are greatly appreciated and have been immensely helpful
Thank You All
Jeff,
I live in Boynton Beach, we are practically neighbors! Feel free to contact me anytime. Once your girl arrives, my wife and stepdaughter would be glad to meet or talk to her during the transition.
-
You should call to find out where your biometrics letter is at this point. It's way past the time you should have received it.
-
I have nothing to add except an observation: Looks like "son of Mcat" , stay tuned ....
-
Jeff,
I see you are in Palm Beach Gardens. I live in Boynton Beach. Welcome to the RUB forum: "Where the men are extra manly and all the women are beautiful!"

I think it's good to include because they are looking for evidence spanning the entire marriage.
