Going to garage sales with my wife is fun. Filipino's are great at finding good deals.

My wife is turning into a good driver. I think she'll be ready for her driving test soon. Great job Cynthia!!

Thanks. I'm certainly not the best, but I try for her. I'm glad she's been able to learn with just us driving together. There were a few very stressful moments that I could have been more patient, but we we're always okay afterwards. She's been doing great now. Maybe just some more practice backing up now.

AOS interview was today. She was approved. It only took about 10 minutes. We're done now for two years. Thanks VJ members for all help through our journey.

She got her EAD card on Saturday, and passed her driver's license test today. Great job my dear.

She Passed!!!! They did not require the Brunei Police Clearance. Maybe she'll be here in 2 wks. We're so excited.

Five more days until her interview. Still no police certificate from Brunei.

The interview has been scheduled for April 15th. Our time is getting near.

Called NVC again today. They confirmed case has now been sent to USEM. It took 4 1/2 weeks. I hope DHL is fast so we can schedule interview.

Never trust the US government when they tell you they will do something. "Sure, we'll change your fiancee's address." Nope. "Yes, we will send your case to USEM today or tomorrow." Nope. Oh my gosh. How can they be so stupid? Between them changing the embassy to the...

Thanks Tim and Mav. I'm very frustrated but I'll keep my patience. The hardest part was telling Cynthia. I feel really sorry that I didn't call NVC two weeks ago to make sure. I should have called and now things are delayed. She's very understanding, but I still feel bad she will have to wait longer now.

They both passed their medical. One more step closer.

Hi Corilene, I'm not sure what Tina said above since I can't speak tagalog. Hopefully someday my fiancee will teach me. She did her medical early because we were worried about TB test and the time it takes if there are problems with x-rays. I figure it's best to do each step as early as possible instead of waiting. We don't want any more delays than we have already had.

I called NVC today and got our correct case #. This time it is for Manila instead of Taiwan. They should be sending the case there today or tomorrow. I hope it's fast so we can request police certificate from Brunei.
