    Yup I am American :P He is the crazy egyptian ..lol don't tell him I said that. We meet at our Masjid here in PGH. I am a revert of 18 months, converted during my studies in Theology while working with the Bishop of PGH. Sorry you got confused :)

    He hates all this paperwork and waiting.. I am the proactive one on this. When I printed everything out and said we are filling this out.. He said.. "OMG.. Have fun", to which I said.. "SIT"..lol

    Thats funny. Im tryin not to get too deep into thoughts about it or over-think. Hubby and I just go over some questions and make sure he knows how to spell my parents' names

    After seeing the proposal and getting our letter, my hubby was staring at my underwear drawer this weekend...lol I asked him, "What the hell are you doing?" He said, "Memorizing.... hey why don't you ever wear these ones".. UGGGH... Men. Good thing he has a sense of humor about it. Meantime, I am so nervous and just want it over with.

    Great idea hon... Question, do we have to register???

    sigh...im sad... been 32 days since my Bio appt, and still no news of IL and last updated is still on 25 May...and i receive no rfes either, sigh...could they forget about my case and left it somewhere unnoticed or something??? :unsure::(

    HUGS!! I am sure that has not happened. I bet that is what Alla is starting to think too. I just don't understand it. I think they read our form and say,... let's see who is going crazy and lets make them wait longer.

    Bess.. Give them a RED CARD. (don't know anything about soccer..lol But I hear my hubby all the time, and the red card can't be good :P ..)

    Congrats ALLA!!!

    Wow the 30th next week!! GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!! God willing it will be easy. God never gives you more than you can handle.

    We are coming into the final stretch.. just waiting for the last letters and interviews..... I feel like we are a little family :) What will I do when this is over :( Any of you near Pittsburgh?? I would love to have meet everyone :P

    heyyyyy wat about my letter? is my letter not coming soon? ;( lol

    ohh and yes I am an overstay and I asked around at some agencies and did not apply for advance pAarole cuz technically they should let you in but as alot of you mentioned if your an overstay they can issue the ban and not let you return for years.

    I am 5 year overstay so i would get a 10 yr if i left, thats crazy.

    I am actually a little scared of the interview because I do not have a entry stamp in my passport becuase that passport was lost and i got a new one. So my new one there is ZERO stamps in there cuz i havent traveled anywhere since. But I do have my i94 card so i hope that will be enough to prove i entered legally and with inspection.

    yea the EAD doesnt really count for anything once you leave the country, i believe on the card itself it states that it is only work employment in the US and does not guarantee for you to re enter the country.

    I mean techinally if you have Advanced Parole they should let you in, but as i mentioned beefore I wouldnt leave the country

    until I had my greencard in hand.

    Im actually afraid to drive to another state because once you go up north near canada they randomly check cars and buses for illegal immigrants. OMG if i lived in Arizona i would probably be afraid to leave my house because of that new law...

    I think you letter is coming, you were one week behind me. That wait for the final letter... SUCKS. my husband is also an overstay 4.5 years. I get so nervous when he is out. I have a friend Laurin, her and her hubby just finished INS he was here 7 years. The IO said... Well if you were marrying for a GC guess you would have married alot sooner...

    Still no letter for us, but....

    My husband's EAD and AP is approved!

    That's great! I would say your letter is on it's way!!!!! Hopefully today or tomorrow.

    On the site when I log in to see my status it still talk about my review as of MAY 5th.. WTH.. No wonder no email's and txts.. I am livin' in the dark... Guess I will know about the EAD when it arrives... SIGH.
