You are getting everyone's back up.
I don't know if you have to be 18 or 21 to file an i130 (first step for CR1)... I doubt that you will be able to sign a contract until you are an adult.
People are not going to type pages of info just for you when it is a click away. The cr1 process is broken up into 3 stages all with their own rules and sets of forms. The first is the i130 packet that has to be sent to the USCIS - that is your first concern,, learn those forms & requirements first.

It's only an estimate and better than nothing

tanithw got a reaction from VanessaTony in CR1 granted, can I move to the US while the USC lives abroad?
Probably what happened in those cases was that they and the USC moved back to America, established a residence and then the husband moved back abroad for the duration of the job - or the wife already had a green card.
Perhaps you should consult an attorney

I have been following this thread the last two days. I can say that it has opened my eyes (being the USC). I was worried initially that when my SO arrives that things will be very different for her in the US. I also was concerned about many things you are going through. But I can honestly say that I had no idea the magnitude of it all. I now have many things to consider (or consider more earnestly) and I thank you for this thread, the many comments and advice given. I can tell you that I will be much better prepared and aware when she comes to the US. I wish the best for both you and your husband as you find your way here!!
