You just use one persons name and when you get the tax transcripts it will show both your names on it because you filed jointly.

Hello -- We included our joint bank account, showing activity of shared expenses. Do you have phone bills showing both your names? Also submitted eMails between our us and our familys. Christmas or Birthday, etc..addressed with both names. It sounds like you have a good packet going. We just received our Biometics appointment. 13 March

i added her in my account as a joint few days ago so i m not going to be able to show that we shared of expenses in this account. I m helping to pay the bills.She does with her own account too.We have a fresh joint account all i can do is to send them we have a joint account together maybe i wont be able to send any statement but shows the account both of ours name

As Martyshk mentioned earlier, joint bank accounts is just one of evidence for inter-mixing of finances. So just send a statement that shows both your names on the account - probaly the next statement after making it joint will reflect the names and if you need to file immediately you can get a letter from bank stating that the account has just been made joint and it will be an additional evidence for inter-mixing of finances.

Copy of our boarding passes for a recent vacation we took together to visit her family

copy of a letter from the company that i work for, showing she is as my benificiary in life insurance.

copy of hospital bills from her insurance while i was not have any insurance yet.(showing she is the card holder and i m a patient)

i have just added her name under my account as a joint. i m not sure to send it yet bec of worried to make it as a red flag maybe i should wait untill i get RFE

? are they able to see when i added her in my account?

Here is your best option. You add her account and she adds your account and then send copies of both. Else atleast add her to your and use that.

You need to be together on a bank account that is more active. There is no purpose in being joint in a non-operational account - it is no good evidence. Decide on the account that has more activity (including any direct deposits of salary) and get that changed to joint and submit a few full latest bank statements (say last 3 months). However if you have enough time, send one full one from the first time it is made joint and the latest full one and that should be fine.

as i mention on the above that she has her own account which is her salary was going to this account(her own). well now she is unemployed and unemployment money goes to this account too (her own)

we also have different accounts from the same bank if i add her in my account which is all my salary are goes to this account,and i pay all bills from this account as well.when i was new in usa she used to give me money to deposit in my account too

Good - get those done. Just because you got one of the evidences close to end of 2 years, doesn't mean that you have weak evidence. Adding each other to your bank acounts is one more evidence of your continuing relationship and inter-mixing of finances. If fact it prooves that your relationship is getting stronger. All the best.

i have a question about it too since me and my wife has the same bank but different accounts if i would like to add her name in my account is that possible to show the date that when i let her name to be in my account ? bec i dont want to get a red flag to add her in my account just right now. my wife also has another account which is more active and her salary goes to this account and the other one which is the same bank as i have she have opened this account bec she have wanted to close the old one

I have done my research but still not sure. I am in the process of filing for my wife’s ROC. Me and my wife have a child together who was born here in the U.S. I also have a step son who is currently in the Philippines who we are planning to petition through I-30 later on this year. My question is do I need to list their names in the Part 5 of I-751? I know the forms states to “List All Children” but the instruction says only the dependents/kids who are also applying for condition to be removed.

i m about to fill up the I-751 middle of march but i got a letter from immigration service that kinda reminding me to fill up the ROC but also on the rght side of the paper it says please forward and the bottom they have an adress

yes, you still should open up a joint account now and get a letter from the bank stating the time the joint account was open. also, if you are unable to get tax transcripts, send in your w-2s along with copies of your income taxes.

Yes Actually we have accounts from the same bank but not a joint i think we could add each others to the accounts. we are done with tax returns and we going to contact to irs tomorrow to get the transcripts. It takes 5 to 10 days to get it Hopefully we will receive it first week of march so we can send our papers.

having joint bank accounts has nothing to do with bad credit. with bad credit, both of you still can open joint checking or joint savings or both. i know people with bad credit and they still open up joint checking and savings account. uscis does not look at your credit rating. good luck.

I have a question I m going to apply for ROC on middle of march but i have an issue about bank accounts that me and my wife do not have any bank account together because she did not want me to have it with her bec of her bad credit might affect my credit score.. is that going to be a problem?

we have a house both of our names , we have a car both of our names, utility bill, pics, we visited her family together and my family as well which is they are out of country, both name car insurance, i was under her insurance, taxes done married jointly ,

are these good enough to avoid from RFE?

Even though u applied in his DS-230 most of the times they are not sending it in mail. I did that too but i did not received it.

just give it at least a month then go to the one of social security office and apply one for him.

I just want to say, having been there, hang in there because this is such a process, especially for those who can not be together while awaiting the all important decision. Some recipients have never lived or travelled in the U S.

Be realistic. The REAL journey begins after a visa is granted. This VJ is not a fairy tale with a happily ever after. I've watched so many couples struggle the first couple years. Adjusting to the U S. Adjusting to each other. Adjusting to family, habits, religious and cultural ways. Sadly, some couples did not make it. You won't many of these failures sharing that part of their story on V J.

But there are those who do make it. I'm proud to say my S O and I are counted in the numbers. We've been married 8 y rs this year. Best friends. We've a beautiful daughter who is turning five. A successful marriage requires ongoing work, regardless if immigration is an aspect of the equation. Marriage evolves much as an individual does through out life. We've had our fair share of ups and downs, sometimes it gets really tough. It's Life. For us, it is love and more so the commitment to each other, to our marriage. Appreciation and Respect our differences. Focus on the many things that we have in common that brought us together in the first place.

BTW, my S O has been a citizen for six years now.

do not send any email to consulate because after you both got an email from NVC that inform you about interview date and some stuff you wont be able to receive anything from the consulate all your husband to do is ;

He need to get his medical report until 10 days before interview date

bring valid passport

bring valid pics for visa and valid size

bring marriage certificate

bring all kind of evidence you have

bring the email that NVC send you which infrom about your interview date

PS; email you got from NVC there are alot of letters to match what you suppose to bring during the interview so make sure you double check what you suppose to bring

I know Turkish consulate gives the interwiev dates after march but it depends sometimes they can give you early date nobody knows whats going on.

All i heard is they are not update any interview date the first week of a month

Hey that's great about your new work! The Christmas season is happening soon so many businesses will offer full time "seasonal work" , so maybe you can get a job with a business like this. Ky is doing great and loves his tarla. This is so much better than when he was at usaf base in Baghdad. DANGEROUS there. What's better is that he is there for Baba, who goes back and forth with his illness; but he's stable. At any rate, we're doing great, both working hard and saving.
