If you don't mind asking, what was the RFE for?
-
Ahhh so nobody got approved yet? Was hoping to see some new stuff if I log in VJ, but nada! Didn't check my USCIS status... don't want to keep staring at that thing.
Give it a few more months, Love is patient.
I never checked my USCIS status online since we filed and I don't intend do to so.
When should we see the first October 2012 ROC approvals? Summertime?

We traveled overseas with an expired green card plus the extension letter. It's was no different than a valid green card. We just paper clipped the letter with green card and gave them together whenever needed.
It's good to know that traveling with an expired GC and an extension letter is easy breezy (this applies to national and international traveling, right?).

We're heading to England at the end of this month to see my hubby's family, so I'll report back to let everyone know how traveling with the expired green card + letter goes.
Definitely, Leenie! Keep us posted!
Safe travels!

Hi fellow filers! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. We did!

Hello fellow "removers"!
I had my biometrics appointment this morning. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. They took my fingerprints, my photo, my signature. Easy breezy!
The waiting area was a zoo! If cameras and cell phones were allowed I'd take a few shots of the circus!

I'm sorry, I can't find it. Can you post a link to it?

Hello! Quick question!
How can I edit/delete my POE review?
Thanks!

those people up in vermont... they prob go on 45 min coffee breaks, twice a day... 90 min lunch breaks... and 15 min cig break every other hour... and work 9am-4pm...I think ROC is the easiest part of immigration
I agree. Also, this time around it's so much easier for us waiting for the approval together.

Today we received our NOA in the mail. It's dated 10/24/2012.
Yay!

USCIS cashed our check (and I have mixed feelings about it , we're $590 lighter ).

Congratulations!

VJ-Newbie, thank you very much for the joy.

Thanks!

Ta-da! Ladies and gentlemen!
Our package is on it's way to the sunny and warm California! We're so relieved, a heavy weight has been lifted off our shoulders!
This petition brought back many painful and sad memories, our K1 journey caused us countless tears and sleepless nights. Me and my hubby were apart for 7 never-ending months, we were completely heartbroken and lost. Thinking back, our days were extremely empty and long BUT it was all worth it! We'd do it over and over and over again! Since I officially moved to US we were never apart again, not for a day, not for a night and I NEVER want to be apart again! I NEVER want to take my husband and our marriage for granted, we worked so, so hard for what we have today! My husband is the most beautiful and important person in my life and I love him so much it hurts!
Now, let the waiting game begin...
Good luck, everyone!

First, thank you very much for answering my questions, folks!
Second, we're almost done. Yesterday and today we gathered all the evidence there was to gather. Tomorrow I'm printing the family photographs and then finally, on Monday, we're sending our package via California!
