Just sent my baby a HUGE MASSIVE ENORMOUS DID I SAY HUGE packet of papers with everything i could possibly send him in afolder with dividers and everything IM getting sooo excited and he received his packet 3 today
if for some reason we get an interview in december do u think they approve more visas during this time LOL kk thats not a real question but sort of hoping for the holiday spirit to warm the hearts of our interviewer
getting closer and closer and way excited!!
Im confused about something.... you said "IF for some reason you get a interview in december..." But your timeline says you received packet 3 on 2009-11-05. As I said, have a headache so please excuse me if Im not seeing something... but didnt the packet 3 have your interview date listed in the packet? Just wondering bc my fiances did. But maybe its not the same for all countries. I dont know. Anyhooo.... I'll pray you get it soon!

OMG I have been thinking the exact same thing. Our interview is in December, and Im praying the holiday spirit will kick in... and maybe they'll think "Ahhhhh what a cutre couple, they reallly deserve to be together for the holidays... lets give'em the visa!" hhhhh Yeah I know that thinking is quit ridiculous, but what the heck.. doesnt hurt to be positive.
I also sent my fiance a HUGE pack of papers. I sent them using regular postal service, gauranteed internation... "something like that"... and he was supposed to get them in 3 business days. Cost me though... paid $214.00 BUT he did get them, and in 2 days.
I also put mine in a expandable folder that had pockets and tabs so he can easily find everything. This I used for proof papers. I also got a plastic report cover type folder and put page dividers in them. One folder for all the information they requested, and another folder for other things. Cant remember what all I sent but there were 4 different ones. But one thing I did creative, to make sure that they seen our pictures, was put a cover page for each different piece of proof I submitted, including a cover page for the different folders. I took one of our pictures and lightened it, and used it as the background like stationary and then just typed on the front of that what was in the folder. So no matter what they picked up and looked at they seen a picture of us happily together!!
Well, anyhooo... hope this all made sense. Have a migraine right now, and not sure my thoughts are corresponding with my typing. But over all... yes Im thinking right along side you praying the holiday spirit will have an inpact on the decision. I have been looking at vj daily to see of current interview going on and the results. I hope you have good luck with your/his interview so you can spend the holidays with your loved one!!

If you are the outdoorsey type,.. and like hiking and beautiful waterfalls, google "horsepasture river falls". Its a beautiful place to camp and hike and enjoy nature. Also Gatlinburge is nice too, and also Helen, Ga.
Heres the link to look at picture of horsepasture falls. http://www.pisgahforest.com/photogallery/w...orsepasture.htm

I came across this thread by chance, I know some have seen it and other may have not so I thought I would share it. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=226336
Paris I just want to say how truely sorry I am about your interview. But what others have said is correct, its good that they kept his passport. I know the end of the road is harder, I mean waiting for the interview, and going through it waiting to hear the results we have been wanting to hear for so long. But it will happen for you Im sure. Mines and everyones prayers are with you, and as hard as it is to be strong now, thats the only thing that we can do. Well, I just wanted to tell you that your in my prayers. (((Hugs!!!)))

I have been wondering something, and not sure how to word it to ask correctly. To begin with, we have peititoned for a K1 fiance visa. Once my fiance arrives here, we will marry and file for AOS. Buttt... lets just say for instance, that in 6 months for example, he does not like it here and wished to return home for us to live there. If in 6 months we did this, moved there, would he be able to still apply for US citizenship while living in another country? Would he still be able to travel home with me for visits? I am not sure how this works. Im concerned that if we ever wanted to move back, could we? Could he still obtain his American citizenship while living in another country and be able to travel back and fourth. Or would we have to wait for a year (or more, however long) to travel there before he could come back to the united states freely. Thanks a bunch for your help!!

Someone told me once that it depended on the airline, on whether or not they would make you buy a round trip ticket or not. Not sure how accurate that is though. I have checked airline prices online, and have seen that some airlines are cheaper buying roundtrip rather that one way. I have always found Orbitz to be cheapest, especially if you fly out Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Check various days and see if the price gets lower.

if you've got google down pat, maybe it's time you move on to dictionary.com
ap⋅pear
/əˈpɪər/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [uh-peer]
–verb (used without object)
2. to have the appearance of being; seem; look: to appear wise.
3. to be obvious or easily perceived; be clear or made clear by evidence: It appears to me that you are right.
I am not sure I am the one in need of a dictionary... can we spell a-p-p-e-a-r-s??? Oh, thats too hard, Im sorry....

I have bee reading a recent thread pertaining to a female physician in Casablanca that many people have gone to see about they're medical exams. It appears that honesty is 'not' the best policy in her office, and padding of the pockets are not out of the norm. I am wondering what peoples exeriences are with these doctors. I have three doctors on my list, and already made an appointment with the female doctor, and considering canceling it and going with another.
The three on my list are:
Dr. Alain Guidon, Dr. Khadija Zirari and Dr. Abdelouahed Ambari.
Anyone with any experiences with these doctors? Thanks a bunch for your responses!
Once again you need to be spoon-fed when it's right underneath your nose.
Did you take english in school? Just asking because I stated "appears". Did not say 'was'. And if you would see the sentence where I asked what other ppls experiences were. Oh,... ? Or should I have 'googled' that????? Im sorry... let me 'google".....
-
you were doing pretty good up until that last sentence. can we tone statements like that down?
Doing a pretyty good job up until that last statement???? Who have I slandered? I asked other people experiences, there was no slandering.

Sinad this is what you said in your thread.... i was shoked when she said , pay me here !!!!!!!! , that means she doesnt get paid in the reception as all doctors do !!! here where i knew something is wrong !!
Can you not see by your statement that I could have come to the conclusion that she was being dishonest? All I was wanting by this thread was to find other peoples experiences with these doctors is all and if anyone else had the same experience with her. If you or anyone was offended by my thread I do appologize.
How is it that your the only one that came to this conclusion but everyone else seems to understand what Sinad transmitted? She didn't post anything thats unclear.
VJ history shows everytime YOU post a topic it turns into chaos!
That statement seemed pretty clear to me. When she says "and I knew something was wrong!!!!!!" seemed clear to me. How is it that everytime I post chaos starts? Please expand on that.... Seems to me that the people that start chaos in thread are the ones that like to poke at other people and cause chaos by there jabs. I wasnt jabbing or starting anything.. I simply asked about other peoples experiences.
So of course it's Sinad's fault for causing all this and leading you on? You end up smelling like a rose right?
This is when you were KarimaG (back for the 3rd time)

I know I know you will now start another thread on how this time you’re really going to leave VJ. Anything else or is this thread going to be closed also?
Hummm... You been quite studious today. Guess you want a "thank you" for your dilligence?

Sinad this is what you said in your thread.... "she asked about our passports , 3 photos and gave me a papers to go upstairs and do blood test then go to an other place for chest xray , it took me an hour to get x ray result , then i came back to dr khadija , i waited until the blood tests are ready then she started taking my mesurement height and weight , and write information is the forms ! then she did 4 vaccinations in my arms and that's it !!
i was shoked when she said , pay me here !!!!!!!! , that means she doesnt get paid in the reception as all doctors do !!! here where i knew something is wrong !!
she didnt ask me about my relation or anything !! asked about my age and if im pregnant !
that's it
just tell your fiance to get a headache medicaments ! i had a headache straight away after the test ! and she said its normal !"

Karima ! im suprised about your thread !
dont forget that my son did the medical exam with me so its normal to be expensive darling !
+ she wasnt nice because of my son who couldnt stop from screaming and playing in her office ! maybe she doesnt like kids lol
however dont worry about it !!!
Why are you surprised about my thread? I just wanted to see other ppls experiences with the same doctors that I listed. I knew your child was with you, but it was still high. My fiance was told 1600hd and your is much higher than that, even with your child. Did not mean to cause offense by my thread. Just wondering what other ppls experiences are with these doctors is all.

Aren't these physicians names provided by the consulate? I'm thinking if they've been given 'the stamp of approval' by the US consulate, these doctors would not be engaging in the practice of falsifying medical examinations or asking for patients that go to her for US visa medical exams to pad their pockets. But if that is the case...wouldn't the US consulate want to be appraised of this information, if indeed it is happening?
Agreed that it should be reported to the consulate or who-ever if thats whats happening.
-
I've not heard of that - but I know my husband had to pay her, then he had to pay for the medicine for the vaccines. As for cost, well it was 4 years ago so I'm just gonna guess that the price has gone up! lol. I know a lot of people do go to her and have never heard of problems. I'm sure if there were she would have been reported to the American consulate and they would take her name off their list.
She told him 1600dh. Im sure im worrying over nothing. Just hope she doesnt increase it upon his arrival.. lol Thanks for your response!
-
I'm not sure what issues you are referring to - it's a routine medical exam what would the worry be? My husband went to Dr. Khadija about 4 years ago however, no issues - everything was fine.
lol... I guess Im just worried about the honesty issue on her part. I have always heard 'go see the women doctor', and now it appears she may not be a completely honest doctor. I was wondering what other ppls experiences were with these doctors. They did tell him to bring 1600dh,... and was concerned that when he traveled all that way to see her, they would up the ani (lol... is that what u call it? ani? anti? lol) and make it more.

From experience, I'd say avoid Dr. Zirari and go to Dr. Ambari. What thread are you reading?
It was the thread under this one... Medical Exam Passssed, casablanca, by Sinad. Thanks for your reply!

I'm supposed to be working right now, but no supervisors in clinic today, so I am totally gonna BS today! Yay for me! Anywho......just for sh!ts and giggles, thought I'd see what everyone would name a boy and girl if you ever had a child with your SO. Here's mine.....
Boy: Mazin or Abdulrahman
Girl: Zaynab or Jennah
I vote for Mazin for the boy because too many people will have trouble with Abdulrahman
and Im on the fence with the girl names, but im leaning towards Jenna
are you going to get to work on this as soon as hubby comes home?!?
Ditto that Y's_habibitk! I like Mazin and Jennah! Both are very nice!!

my fiance has yet to receive her packet from the moscow embassy, is it too early for her to schedule here medical without having packet in hand?
Of course embassies can be different on how they do things, but when my fiance received his packet3 they enclosed information for 3 different doctors he can choose from to see. You may want to wait until he gets his packet to see if there are any doctors that your embassey prefers him to see. Hope that helps!

Police certificate is obtained from the local police department. the court papers are called the Fiche Anthropometrique and is obtained from the courthouse!
Hope that helps!
Fiche Anthropometrique?? hhhh Sounds german! lol Ok! We'll try that and see if that helps. I was telling him, with the amount of people I am sure that have come through there asking for these papers, that certainly they would know what to give them.... atleast you would think. Thanks!
well it is a Police and Court Record ... Fiche Anthropometrique it is in French and it is a Popular name of the Court record in Morocco , he need to go to the courthouse ( city when he was Born not where he lives ) and he will need an Original Birthcertificate for that and 20Dh ( he will get it in the same day ) .... and Police record he can go to the Local Police departement he will need a Copy OF his ID and 30dhs, and he will get it in 2days
good luck
Why do you suppose you can only get it in the town where you were born? Has anyone been sucessful in getting it where you live? He would have to travel far to get it. Thanks!
well that is how it works in Morocco , he will need to travle to the city where he was born to get a court Record ! but the police record he can get it from where he lives!
okay thanks
Advise on how to handle the separation?
in Middle East and North Africa
Posted
I think separations for anyone is hard. For some its not so much, but for some its a little harder, depending maybe whats going on in ones life. But I understand completely how you feel, and have wondered about those "what ifs" too. Your lucky to have friends and family who support you. My journey has been hard from the beginning. My parents did not support my relationship. In the beginning my mother looked for every obsticle to put in front of us. When I first told her it tore the family apart for a long time. Didnt speak, I had to change to locks on my doors bc they had keys to the aprtment. Hide everything I had, papers and passports or they would be stolen. Thing are tolerable now, but I still cant confide in them. I then found vj and attempted to make friends on her and gain support, but that didnt happen. So Im just pretty much a lurker now and dont post that often.
Im pretty much doing the visa process alone. I do the paperwork and find out information... but my fiance is great in the support area. lol I say doing the paperwork and things alone bc he works about 15 hours a day. Depending on the season he works more. When he isnt working, hes talking to me on cam, which is about 3:00am usually his time or later, or he's sleeping.
No one who is not in this situation would ever understand how difficult it is. It is like being away from the other half of your body. Having to eat alone, to watch tv alone, take walks alone, sleep alone, wake up alone, no matter what it is, its diffucult. It think the worst time for me is at night, climbing in bed and turning out the light and listening to the silence. Its deafening.
I try to busy myself in work, and getting my house ready for my fiances arrival. I have no idea what decision the embassy will come to, but I have to do something. So, its the house. Yeasterday I painted a shelf and cleaned for 2 days. I try to do something construction, but actually spend most my t ime in bed, just lying there watching tv and wishing he was there beside me. When we talk on cam, I see him, and his lips, and hair, and arms, and not hearing anything that he's saying at all. Just watching every movement he makes. And what I wouldnt do to fly there now.
I remember when I left the airport... Or actually was leaving the airport... I almost could not walk to the gate. Kissing him goodbye was the worst moment in my life. I remember I picked a argument with security... I did not want to go... I was kissing him goodbye, and barnie from security came running demanding our marriage certificate. We were not married, but my fiance told him it was left at home. He kept yelling on us, and walked away. I asked him what he had said. He told me and I got soo mad. I was thinking that this was the worst moment of my life and he's trying to deprive me of kssing my fiance goodbye. He was my husband in my heart! So.... I guess bc I was feeling so bad It just was the last straw. I looked at Barnie, and then turned and kissed my fiance square on the lips! Again, and again,....lol Im sure it was disrespectful, but leaving was heartwrenching... and a thougth came to me... maybe he would detaine me and whallall! I would get to stay! Of course I would miss my plane right?? hehe Yeah I know it was bad to do that! But we all know or remember how it felt to get on that plane and I just did not want to do it. And then, when I did get on the plane, can you believe I prayed something would happen and it would crash in Morocco! "Everyone living and being ok of course"... I did not want to get over the waters for nothing.
This post was a little longer than I intended it to be, and for that Im sorry. Just wanted you to know that your not alone. I cant begin to tell how how many nights I think of just not waking up... just bc of stress, no support, being alone, and dang it all having to crawl in the bed one more time alone. But if I did, I would never have my chance of being with him. And he's the only thing that keeps me from it. Just remember, try to keep busy, think of the future, decorate your home for him,... and know that its not forever. There's an end! (((Hugs)))
