  1. hum., I use Time warner cable o. and they are telling me I have to go bring Subpoena from the court to get record of CALLS RECEIVED.

I have record of calls made out, but I do not use them to call him. I use onesuite.com which allows me to call him much cheaper than Time warner cable.

The problem now is that we do not have records of him calling me. Just me calling him.

    Abi na one way traffic??

    How una see am?

    /quote]

    Hi Upchurch!

u go fit get am. Make u work hard. LOL!

    Dear heart,

When you contact time warner request to speak to a supervisor or the supervisor's supervisor. U can send them a copy of the consulates request and let them know they are your telephone provider and since you don't use any other phone company but them, (say it like that) you need your phone records per the consulate and if they don't provide it you will have to leave. Trust me you will get somewhere with that. (they can't hold up your life because of stupid red tapes. they good thing is we are in the US and with the right buttons pushed you will be able to get somewhere.

    Good Luck! Keep me posted.

    Effieb.

  4. I don't know why I'm having so much of hassle with sending this post. I hope the format comes out correct.

I have been reading various postings regarding visa's being delayed due to lack of evidence. Five years ago my then Fiance and I went through the same thing. So I've decided to start a post to share what type of additional evidence have been submitted. Please feel free to contribute as much information as possible. Too much evidence can't hurt. I hope this helps someone.

    1) Emails between family and friends talking about you and your SO. IMO, this helps the CO see that there is some validity to the relationship especially since members of your inner circle knows about you and your SO.

2)Have a friend/family submit a letter on company letterhead attesting to your relationship. Be sure that the letter contains positive character traits about you, and how they think highly of your decisions.

3)If you are strictly using calling cards to communicate ... trash it! As with my case ... how do they know who you really called? Instead, opt for something like Pingo or any other service that tracks your phone calls.

    4) Be sure your photos are relative to your visit. It's nice that you've taken photos in the hotel room. But try to have photos with places relative to the area in the background. Photos with various relatives and close friends. That way there is no question as to whether or not it was the two of you together in his/her hometown, etc.

    5) Send emails between you and your SO family. I understand that for many of our SO's, some family members (ie., older relatives) do not understand how to use a computer. But I'm sure there is at least one relative who you can start communicating with via the internet from your SO's family. This again shows that this relationship extends beyond just the two of you.

    6) Do not delete or sratch through your emails. So what if you and your SO decides to have a few spicy cyber conversations?! I hope you wouldn't do that with just anyone. So why do you have to hide it?

    7) If applicable to your situation, submit Western Union / Money Gram receipts. On the flip side, know the Embassy you are dealing with. For some embassys this is not seen as a good thing.

    8) Drill your SO as though both of your lives depend on it. Be sure that your SO knows as much about you as possible.

    9) Be confident! For example: my husband can initially come across as shy and timid. Of course, after a few minutes all of that changes. BUT to a CO officer this can come across as being uncertain. Uncertain about what? (you fill in the blanks).

    Hope this information helps someone.

    In HIS Word,

    Boaz

I love that. I had to do that to get approved. My fiance went to the interview with binders in a carry on luggage no joke. They were unable to ask alot of questions because the documentation said it all. I drilled my fiance like i don't know what. We played CO and beneficiary games every night. It was so funny when he came out of the embassy he said you have grilled me for nothing LOL because they did not ask me none of those questions. I said, well you had to be prepared and which he was.

I know Nigeria like i hear is under alot of scrutiny so my brothers and sisters flood them with evidence, KNOCK THEIR SHOES OFF THEIR FEET ! LOL! and let your SO's be overly prepared so they will dumbfounded to where they will look stupid. Amen!

    Great job on your post.

  5. Hi Pman's wife,

My dear do not give up or be depressed. Really thank God for Pman's health and life and also yours. Lets pray together for God to give you the patience to deal with this difficult ordeal. Prayer changes things and God knows best and why certain things happen in our lives.

I have come to realise that. When my petition got denied in 2008 at the USCIS stage, girl i was devastated and did not take it light but i told myself at the time after i had prayed everyday about it for months i came to realise it was all good it happened that way due to some personal reasons. God's time is always the best and we will understand it when it comes. You are my VJ sister and friend trust me i am not saying that because i have my visa approved. I have been a denial stage before, that rejection was not cool.

Yours is not denied thank the lord its just a delay. I will say a prayer for you for strenght and patience.

PLEASE LETS PUT OUR TRUST IN GOD. HE WILL ALWAYS SUSTAIN US. MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU WITH AN ABUNDANCE OF HEALTH, LIFE, PATIENCE AND STRENGTH.

    Luv Effieb

  6. Great.

So it took less than seven months from your submission to get approved? If so, I just want to know if it is anything I can do to get that type of turnaround for Ghana.

God will do it for you. Mr K. Make sure on your interview you will flood them with evidence to where they are overwhelmed it works i swear. It will be well. I will keep everyone in my prayers.

I kept any and everything since i relationship began in 2007. Look when i say we had a carryon luggage of evidence we did. The prescreener kept telling my fiance you have a lot of documents and then we had organized it really well to where it was easy to get to. Everything was color coded and labled. If they had something to request it will be extremely surprising.

  7. Congratulations Sis!!!!!!:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: You guys are so lucky!!!!!!!!!!. Im so happy for you two. So when is he coming to the states?

my fiance was at the consulate at 6am and was not called till 1050am to the window. The prescreener was overwhelmed with the evidence she kept telling my fiance its too much documents.

The CO was nice, he asked how long my fiance has known me, He had looked into our album and documents and stated he has seen everything and it looked good.

He also asked does he have any family here in the US. Whether they get along with my family? He has about the phone records, he stated he do make alot of calls and he asked my fiance about his phone number and if i had any other relatives in Ghana and he said yes. Because i was born and raised in Ghana. The CO stated we have overwhelming evidence and he is approved...
