  1. There is nothing for YOU to do. If the US Citizen needs assistance from VJ, they need to come here, set up and account and provide the exact wording of any denial letter and a detailed report of the interview. I suspect the US Citizen's previous marriage is a factor in the denial but far from the complete story.

The reason they denied them was because they said they did not have enough evidence this is all the info the gave them !!

  2. Hello i needed to help a freind whom her husband is denied a visa , the emabassy said that his wife was married before therefor they can not issue him a visa what should i do??? This is the room where i come to get all the help i need visa journey is been my home.

I know she contaced the embassay olready for them to hold the case there ,does she email the district office or congress some thing help!!!!!

  3. they will not let us know. i have been in contact with dos, and he has been in contact with the embassy. they say they do not need anything from us, and we just have to wait it out. it is a much better result than last time. for that i am happy

Mrs T, i wish i have your attitude towards this whole process !!! you always show positive attitude and up lifting spirit wow lucky him

    God bless !!

  4. hey lily! good to see u :) we are still waiting for his visa to be returned. they kept his passport at the interview, and a week from tomorrow will be a month since the interview.

Mrs T , ohhh i know you have been patience with all this visa issue , hopefully they will get back to you guys with a good news , how long is the AP is it definite or they did not let you know???

    best wishes !!!

  5. i can definitely understand lily. today, we have been married for 8 months.

thankyou mrs T congrats on the 8th month eventhough you are celebrating by your self lol

the reason is because my husband's company still want him even though they gave him his last day they still want him to stay another week i don't know what the reason is but they do !!

oh well what else can i say but to wait !!! I sure did not know they needed process like nvc. lol

  6. My interview is 12 days from now and I am starting to have hard time to sleep at night.

Everyday I am trying to forget about it even for a matter of hours but it just keeps on coming to my head. :clock:

Lancelotte hahah welcome to our world at least it was for a week or two don't worry it will get better just don't kill your self with out sleeping ,, deep breath lol

get your staff together that will help you !!!

    good luck

  7. Here's what I'm carrying in my little evidence briefcase:

-150 pages of emails, text messages, and chats, covering the last five years (we've known each other for seven, but this is as far back as my current email account goes). I included a couple emails from each month from october 2005 to now.

-A Christmas card/letter my now-mother-in-law sent me in December 2002, showing how I've been close to the family for ages.

-Signed letters from my in-laws, and my mother (dad passed away in 2008) attesting to the legitimacy of the relationship. They are not notarized, though.

-About 30 pictures, most of them from the wedding (200 were taken, I chose the ones that show the progression of the ceremony and celebration, as well as pics of us with our guests).

-Scans of my wife, father-in-law, and mother-in-law's passports showing their entry and exit stamps for their visits to Venezuela.

-Copies of their e-tickets for their flights here, as well as a scan of my wife's boarding pass from her first trip here.

Not sure if they'll ask to see any of it, and Ashley thinks 150 pages of email is overkill, but I'd rather have too much than too little. I'm still kicking myself for not saving my old phone bills, and because I recently changed computers, my skype call history covers only recent months. She keeps telling me we're good to go, but she married a neurotic of the highest order :D

lol Ricardo wow i think you are in the right track good luck to you just be brief , honest

good luck with and wish you a smooth interview

the skpe account don't worry if you have the recent that will be okay

the email you to have is a lot brobably you might need to get a shuttle to get it to the embassy lol

    good luck

  8. HI there, Congratulations!

Im nervous about the whole thing. im worried that we won;t have enough proof to show. It's been 3 yrs since he returned in Manila to propose.

What proof of relationship did you aubmitted?

    thanks for your help

What are the evidence you are gonna show ?

here are the things we showed

    1/ Emails

2/ Itinerary we traveled to mexicoand when i visited to see him back home

    3/ phone call logs

4/photos of the wedding ceremony and others random pic .

but they did not ask for any of them my husband took it with him though

PS: this is not the only thing you can show based on your situation you can also provide your own evidence

this is just what we did!!

    Good luck

  9. PS-- (can't edit for some reason)

I've just finished putting my supporting evidence together, just in case. I'm bringing about 150 pages of emails, chats, and texts going back to 2005 (a sampler of about 200 emails out of 15,000 or so we've exchanged :P), a card my then-future mother in law sent me back in 2002, affidavits from my MIL and FIL, as well as one from my mother, and pictures (mostly from the wedding, as we're not big on pictures, shy buggers that we are). I wish I'd had the foresight to save my phone bills, but my mother only saves the actual receipt, and discards the call breakdown pages. Oh, well. Most of our conversations take place over Skype or MSN, so they wouldn't show much in the way of international calls anyway.

Am I rambling? You betcha. I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself the remainder of the week. I'm getting pics taken tomorrow, buying a nice accordion folder for my paperwork, and a storage tube for my x-ray. After that, I'll be officially done till it's time to fly into Caracas on Monday. I'm thinking now would be a great time to re-read the entire Lord of the Rings. And The Silmarillion. Maybe take up Norwegian while I'm at it (her family on her father's side is from there originally).

Many many congratulations to those who've gotten their visas already, strength and patience to those in AR/AP, and lots of luck to all of us getting ready for the main event :)

welcome to our forum we wish for you and your wife best best luck on the interview don't worry we all went though this nervouse break down you look like you got every thing together now just count down and have some popcorn!!
