Does anyone know any online dating sites where you can meet Americans.
I am Filipino and I'm married to a Filipino-American.
I'm trying to find a boyfriend for my sister and for my best friend.
I moved here in the U.S. last year and I already have my GC (conditional).
Just wonderin' if anyone here knows a good dating site?
Hope I don't sound desperate! haha!
Thank you!
Rely on this topic sis.

Awwww! That's sucks sis! Better to look for another CS to JUST transcribe ur medical. Explain to the new CS what happen.. maybe he/she will give consideration to just sign ur new form i-693 without redoing whatever test u've done before. Just show the letter from USCIS to the CS so he/she will believe u. Hope it helps! Goodluck!

I AGREE SIS...
same here, charlie did that to me when i arrived hee for no rest huh he tour me in the house then in the morning when he start to cook he teach e how to use it...no need the notes...hehe...filipina is really fast learner...right?
Hello Pam! Indeed Pinays are fast learners. Same here with my hubby. He just taught me once and i got it.
-
Ur idea is pretty good. Go ahead, do it if u believe it will really helps her alot.
But remember, filipinas are fast learners. If u think ur fiancee can easily pick up things, then no need to do that. Give her a tour inside the house once she arrives. While doing that, explain her how things works.

I hate doing the bathroom too, but i had too.
I do the dishes all the time coz i don't want my hubby to use the dishwasher when i let him do it.
Hubby and I do the laundry together.
But i end up putting/folding the clothes.
If i'm lazy to cook, hubby is in charge.

She will go through customs in Hawaii.
Wish her a safe trip

Congrats sis!!!

If you use fedex they will think its important and charge you, the cost at customs is often more than the cost of the item.
Hubby used Fedex that's why they charged me too much before. And the phone took 2 weeks long in the customs area.

There is a big money saving loop-hole to skype though. You can set up the person in the Philippines' account on skype to be a US account and then put your card information in for $3.00/month unlimited US/Canada plan and the person in the Philippines can call any landline/cell phone in the US for nothing but the 3 dollars a month that you pay. The downside is that you still don't have the benefit of calling them, unless they are on skype that is.
I checked Globe's website and they have a 1 megabyte per second plan for 995 pesos a month. Is this sufficient in speed?
My family in Manila been using globe broadband ( Php995/ month ) for 2 yrs now. So far so good!

Hi, I posted this as one of the replies from another topic. And I do think this would be helpful for everyone who's trying to save money from all those "stooooopid" Custom Taxes.
See my fiancé loves sending gifts/packages. He sends it through USPS and would arrive here in the Philippines in around 3 weeks.
TIP: If he's sending you any gifts, don't declare the real amount at USPS as Customs at the Philippine Post may tax you even more. So tell him to declare it as a gift with less than $40 value.
You didn't hear this from a Customs Examiner's daughter
A perfect example is sweet angel, spent Php2,000 on taxes because of a phone that was sent to her. Whilst my fiance did the same thing BUT he declared the phone as $15. I also got taxed when I claimed it from PhilPost QC, but I was only charge Php35.
Hope this helps!
This is really a big help to others sis.
Thank's for the tip!

Yeah, most of our paperworks are scanned and printed out except the ones where we need real signatures. The only reason I'm even bring the receipt is that we sent a photocopy to USCIS and as I've read Consul Officers HAVE THE RIGHT to ask for the original copy.

Is the ring still with him? If it is, it's never safe to mail valuables such as rings. A scanned version of the ring is enough in my opinion.
Taga san ka, Tine?
Sis, i wish i meet u before so i won't pay for less than Php2K for the taxes of the phone my husband sent me before
I might warn him not to declare the real amount.
