Does anyone know if the interview is in a room or do they just stand outside the glassed cubicle? Also, if the petitioner is present, can he/she be beside the fiance during the interview?

The interview is conducted inside a room with a glass partition between the CO and your fiancee. If u accompany ur fiancee, u can also go with her in the room.. Goodluck!

Hello there! In my case i just go to the Civil surgeon office and gave my copy ds3025 and inform them for immigration. They gave me a form to fill up, (i think that is form I-693) i just fill up the part that they instruct me to do so. And yes i used my husband last name on the form and i signed it too with my new married name. And that's it. After 2 days i got my sealed envelope.

As long as u have an email confirmation for your interview date, your good to go. I only had that before. Print and show that to the guard at the embassy and she's fine.

"Replying" to myself, today, Day 177, we received a Card Production Ordered text message and e-mail. Seems like someone at USCIS noticed the 180 day processing goal date approaching, too, and decided it was time to get this one off their desk.
