    Is everyone planning to attend the interview with thier spouse? As much as I would love to see London with David, I am not sure we can afford for both of us to make the journey. I am concerned that it will not go as smoothly if we are not both there and of course I want to be there for moral support. So I am curious to hear how everyone else is handling it as we are getting closer to the end of this process. :blink:

    I am planning to go to the interview with my wife, i think its better and I think in some countries they do request both parties.

    OH MY GOD!!! This morning just took 10 years off my life I SWEAR!!!! After runnin around at 5 AM like a sprayed roach, going to the bank in the pourn rain and pitch dark depositing nomey into the account and doing all kinds of crazy financial scrambling... but it worked!!!!..... THE VISA WAS IN THE PASSPORT WHEN HE PICKED IT UP!!!! Along with the mystery brown envelope!!!

    I am so happy yet completly exhausted and spent now! I cannot believe that this CO (by the way who was new to the consulate as of THIS week) made us do all this... Everything was already THERE, just listed in joint accounts... she wanted it in an account JUST in my name and would not accept ANYTHING we held jointly, in Italy or ANY income my husband would make regardless of if it will be continuing or not!!!

    I scanned and e-mailed all the new bank info, and did a cover letter and faxed it as well....

    I am just soooo happy... I cannot believe that after 6.5 years we are FINALLY going to live like a regular married couple...

    Thanks for the words of encouragement this morning!!! That along with the calmness of my hubby got me through (I cant say without tears as there was a bunch of sobbing involved, it was like a Sicilian funeral this mornin around my place)...lol...

    Now I've got to lay down as I my head is spinnin and I am sooo exhausted from the emotions.... Thanks again everyone!!! I will be back on later this afternoon!!!

    QUESTION: My AVR says a package of documents were mailed to me. I am assuming these are the instruction package. Do I have to wait till i get the instruction package before I send off my DS230 package?

    No you don't. As soon as the IV bill shows as paid you can print out the cover sheet and send in the package. I had the same and never received the package.

    Hello all! I woke up this morning, and checked my email. I finally got an email from the NVC saying that my IV bill is available to pay!!! Anyway, I paid it online. So we will see how long it takes to show as paid! I am excited to send out the DS-230 package..

    It normally takes about 2-3 business days to show up as paid. When it shows as paid you can print out the cover sheet and send in the ds230. :thumbs:

    I have a question to put out there today...I was on the NVC information page looking at the fees that we need to pay and I came across the Security Enhancement Fee. It is for $45.00, is this included when we pay the IV fee? Or is this a separate fee that we will get billed later on??

    I think that its included in the IV bill. The visa fee is $355. I am sure I came across it somewhere but can't remember.

    hi, i just want to ask to all CR-1 visa people there who passed thier interview recently if how much did you pay at the embassy for the visa payment and other fees collected after the interview? any inputs will be much appreciated.. :help:

    Once you pay the IV bill which is the Immigrant Visa bill you dont have to pay it at the embassy. That is $400 along with $70 for the AOS.

    Gurus!

    Yesterday I paid fee for IV processing, I got the trasaction receipt, and It was showing INPROCESS status.

    morover I can see that they took money from my checking account.

    But NVC site today It says NOT PAID. What is going on the NVC system.

    I am really worried!

    I understand what its like to see that. I had the same problem. Mines was showend the same as yours but then showed up paid on the fourth morning. So not to worry.

    And sam .... That was magic my friend .. Magic , where u screw urself up ... hahahaha ....

    Anyways , once i sent my AOS and ds-3032 , in 2 days it started showing i could pay it , but i had not recieved the e mail .. Lol , i paid it 2 days back and recieved the e mail yesterday . Too late , i had already screwed myself by that time ..

    I did the same thing, I paid my IV bill before I recieve my bill from them. I logged into the online system and saw the IV bill was there to be paid. But luckily for me I recieved my IV bill the next day even though I had already paid it. I had a little problem though as it was showing up as unpaid for 3 days then it said paid on the 4th dayI checked.

    Hope all goes well for you guys.

    ARGHHHH i sent my DS230 today!! yaaaay!

    next for me is those wonderful two words... i hope...

    CASE COMPLETE! WOOOT!

    Thanksss.. ok i paid all that 70.. well my hubby lol.. ehhhh ray and now?? i have to wait when the money was accepted for send what form???.... and after that ds3032 accepted ,what?? .. sorry i want to be ready... readyyy!!! :blush:

    After they accept the payment in about 2-3 days log back in to check and print out the document cover sheet. Then you can send in the AOS package with all supporting documents which I guess u have already.

    Hey, I've got a question... Sorry if I'm being redundant.. I've paid the $70 AOS fee and I'm waiting for NVC to accept and enter the DS 3032. Is it possible for me to sign in and print out the Document Cover Sheet to send in my AOS documents? If so, where on the NVC web page (after signing in) can I find the link to print the document cover sheet?

    After signing in to the NVC, at the top right hand you should see a tab that says receipt, click on that and at the bottom you scould see a tab that says PRINT DOCUMENT COVER SHEET. Print that out and you can send in your AOS. :thumbs:
