Hi all, just wanted to let you guys know that my wife got her visa today. We went yesterday for the interview yesterday and got the visa today. I want to thank everyone here who has shared their experiences and gave advise. Hope that all out there that have not gotten through get theirs soon and have a smooth process.

Once again thank you all....

Oh Jesus, I can't believe it. One full week after they received my RFE - three months after NVC received our case.

AT LAST THE LONG AWAITED APPOINTMENT LETTER. INTERVIEW DECEMBER 28TH, 2009 @7:30AM.

THIS IS THE BEST PART OF THE IMMIGRATION PROCESS, WHEN YOU'V EBEEN PROVIDED WITH A FINAL DECISION DAY. RATHER THAN THE WAITING WAITING WAITING.

I called NVC and the operator said she had good news for me!

December 15, 2009!

I called my hubby and he's so excited! Then I went to the bosses and told them I needed to take three weeks off. No biggie! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just combining my Xmas trip with my hubby's interview-I have to take an extra week off, but hey, that's what annual leave's for!

Right now am like a chicken without its head jumping.....am so happy. Was not expecting this because I called the NVC on Monday and and they said that they have already scheduled for Dec and I might get in Jan.

CASE COMPLETE as confirmed by NVC operator. I was told that they are now scheduling interviews for December but to call back by next week to check if we are able to get a December interview. I pray and hope we do but just the same we are just happy to finally have our case completed.

Thank God for this wonderful blessing.

Now, All I want for Christmas is a December interview and a visa approval!

I just received my visa packet delivered by Fedex/Air21; im so happy! It's exactly five (5) days after my medical and now I have it! But as to when I am leaving, I still dont know till my 4 years old son's appearance at the embassy on Dec03. I hope and pray he will also get the pink since I will be the one to be interviewed again... hahaha! To those who will be having their interviews and to those who are still waiting for their visa packet, GOODLUCK!

now im just waiting for my visa to arrived here in hand,

hopefully next week it will be in my good hands then,

I just had my case complete yesterday as per AVR this morning...waiting for interview date now......

Congrats!!! I called the AVR this morning and still the same message...checklist received, yada yada yada.....oh well, hope I get a different one for Monday....

Me too! We're only a day apart...come on NVC! I guess no log-on failures would occur over a weekend...

I have gotten to where I check the AVR at least twice, sometimes 4 times a day! Each time that man/lady says "we have received the check list letter on Oct. 31......ugh...this is driving me nuts!

I would like to share my happiness, this morning, I logged in to the page and I found out myself that it's FAILED. I'm so happy because, I worried about my thing on DS 230 about the address since you are 16. I put since I was born. Lucky me that they didn't give me the RFT(??)..

Anyway, I wish everybody have a good news like me..Let's celebrate...

Thank you for everybody, I've been searching all good information on here all the time, don't have any activities on here that much. Again! thanks for the support and from now on, I just have to wait and contact the operator on Monday to make sure that my case is completed..

Hello my fellow VJ family, our 9 months and 12days journey has ended. My husband had his interview this morning 7:00 am Nigerian time. Entering into the embassy was very smooth. He was there from 7:00am to 11:00 am. The officer that interviewed him was very thorough. He asked him about the university I attended, what state the university is located, how long we have known each other, what I do for a living, “ not just the title” but also my daily duties, what I do after work, how we met, where I live, who I live with, how many siblings I have, which 1 of my siblings his he close to, how we communicate, our proof of communication, how much it cost him per/ min to call me from Nigeria, and his occupation, the last time he saw me, what we did the last time I came to Nigeria. He also asked for evidence of our relationship, so my husband gave him the pictures but the officer did not look @ them. He went to the back for a few min, and came back with a letter stating the location my husband should go to for his visa collection, An advice to everyone do not over look little details. I wish my fellow interviewees good luck.

Result: Approved

David called and the AVR says we have missing documents. They just got the package on Wednesday. Is it possible they just have not opened it yet? I'm positive we included everything. Now I am very stressed!

Could be because this happened to me as well....saying that they have sent a checklist for missing docs.
