Yeah for a while there I was looking aat Igor's list everyday as well...but been trying not to rely on it as our Captain has stated to us!!! But it is nice to see Nov. filers getting their NOA2's. Hey PJ kinda hard to be sailing our ship in all that snow up there from what I've heard....batten down the hatches mateys, arrrrrg!!!!!!

Daily communications is key for us.. Keeps us going.. We also don't use the webcam every day so that when we do it's a nice surprise to see each other's faces. She loves Yahoo Messenger but I prefer Skype.. I log all chats so we can print them off before she goes for her interview..

I too am very happy to see November filers getting approved.. It's a good sign.. Maybe by the end of March we'll start to see December filers approved.

Yeah skype webcam is what we use as well...and I also logg all skype chats and yahoo messenger chats as well....Im sure by the time of her interview we will have plenty, lol. Anyone know of a good way to contain all of the chat loggs? A binder would be to small..possibly some sort of document box or something Im assuming would work.

When I started this thread on 12/04/09 I was a little stressed at first but as our team developed with such positive and educated posters such as.....

Mapt. Reddstars, Mark and Carol, just to name a few we have turned this into the best Forum for the second half of 2009. A and J stated that the Dec.VSC forum has kept them positive .......and Jared and May injected that poem to my Team Cap't ...... Mapt..

It's like a tight group here that sticks together and don't sling mud at VSC or each other....

Keep it up people.!! This is why we are here.. Not to act childish.. But to act mature and positive.. This will get us through the next 2 months or hopefully before for the day we get our NOA-2's.......

Yeah I dont understand about getting all bent out of shape waiting for the NOA2's...when it happens it will happen...plain and simple!!!

You should be here in N.J. now .....another 2-4" of snow comming overnight...Man I am so tired of getting snow every 5 days for the past 2 weeks... If you keep in contact with your family here they can tell you it has really sucked here in NJ.. Last wednesday I could not even get to my job and the schools were closed for 2 days.. Philidelphia got hammered more than we did....Mapt. is probably as tired of all this ####### as I am...

Yeah we have been intouch with my family up there and they are saying the same things you are saying, lol!! Its been unusually cold here in Texas for this long and we are all tired of it here as well. However we of course are not buried in the snow. Hope the snow doesnt slow down VSC for anyone filing there!!!

I have not posted to this topic before but I got my approval...Petition was approved 02/12/10. Received text and email today from Vermont Service Center..At least the text alert does work!!! Quite schocked when I got the text and email this morning..

I did not expect to get approved so soon and was resigned to the fact that itwould probably take at least 4 months..

I am excited but not prepared..

Sweet you ever happen to hear of Simmons lake? My grand parents owned it before they pased away!!! Yeah been to seaside once when I was about 15yrs old great place man great place! Nice to find out someone from Jersey is also doing the whole visa process as well as me. From your posts I can understand youve been pretty well educated about the whole visa process....its good to know considering I'll probably have some questions needing to be answered ...well take care!!!

Haha...funny you should ask!!! I'm actually from Jersey, lol. But I moved to texas with my family when I was a baby. But my mothers side of the family is still all there. They are all from Sussex, NJ....ever heard of it?

Another NOA-2 for a spanish country [CUBA] on 1/29/10 from the Dec.09 filers. Filed on 12-14-09 and NOA-2 already!!!!

Still, it'd give me comfort to start seeing November approvals flying and see them wrap up October too.

Once again, VJ is a very small sample of how many K-1s are actually there in VSC and how many are approved each day.

Yeah Id be more comfortable too seeing oct and nov get more approvals as well....these are some lucky december people getting approved so quick...I wonder if it has anything to do with the country of the fiance they are trying to get the visa for, just curious....oh well!!!!

Yeah just being positive about this whole situation is the best for us...as far as history repeating itself, lets all hope and prey it doesnt. Everyone is talking about touches for their K1 but I'm still stuck on trying to get my timeline to appear under my posts. I've read all the instructions and filled out everything and also posted to Ewok about it but nothing....anyone care to help out a newb...pleeeese! Thnx

Still waiting on a reply back about my timeline from Ewok. It still has not appeared on my posts. I wonder if it has to do with my sig? I've seen alot of timlines on other posts that dont have sigs....hmmmm maybe I will remove my sig and see what happens?

Your NOA1 should be coming soon!

Yeah just got notice yesterday from the firm that is handling our k1 that they received our NOA1 and are sending me the hard copy of it as well.....woooohooooo finally!!!!!!

The firm that is handling your paperwork should mail your NOA1 hardcopy to you. It takes about one week to receive the hardcopy after your paperwork is received. If you haven't already, go to the USCIS website and sign up for automatic notification by email. The USCIS will notify you via email if they require additional information from you. Snail mail can take up to two weeks for you to receive. You will need the case number on the NOA1 to sign up.

Wow in for a long wait indeed!!! Im still waiting on my NOA1...uscis received my petition on the 28th and cashed my check on the 28th... however the firm that is handling the k1 process for my fiance and I has received a copy and has since sent me an email of it. I should be receiving a copy as well shouldnt I?
