This is a combination of a few posts I had made on another Thread. I was told this thread might lead to more help. So anyone please feel free to chime in if you want Thnx........
This is mostly for any of you guys who have your Thailand K1 approved. Are there any of you who have only visited your fiancee in Thailand one time and got your K1 approved? Im doing a K1 and we are just weeks away from finishing. However I am using a visa company and they are saying they would prefer if I returned to Thailand one more time before my fiancee's interview. I know it would look good to the embassy to see I have had multiple trips to Thailand but we really are not planning on doing this and saving the money for our wedding and for her AOS. Oh and yes we talk Thai a little bit(nit noi) in our emails, lol. We have all the usual evidence of our relationship...stack of emails, stack of text messages, stack of western unions, stack of pics of us together in Bkk and surrounding cities, boarding passes, luggage claim tickets, reciepts from stores when I was there, skype call loggs, skype chat loggs, cell phone call logs, reciepts for her wedding ring I bought, reciept for the wedding I have paid for already and of course all the required documents AOS, tax forms, employer letter, my letter of our relationship and lots of other things. She has done her medical and police check and she is just waiting on an interview date. Let me know what you think, thnx for your help

There are plenty of couples who only met once and were approved by Bangkok. That alone isn't enough to cause a CO at Bangkok to deny your petition. There would have to be other sketchy factors.
You're using a company. That's fine. But let's go over your evidence one more time. That's what they'll want to see. Also, have you made any attempts at Thai? Even little things like "Kop Khun Krap" or "Sawasdee Krap" to be included in e-mails/chats. It's something little and (to me) shouldn't make a difference, but I just saw one girl's experience where the CO was very persistent with questions about how they communicate.
Tell me more, Matt. I'll share what I know and what I've read from the girls at usvisa4thai. I'm sure others will join, too.

Hi Matt,
I hope you receive the NOA2 very soon. I was very surprised to see ours today. I kept thinking of all the possible mistakes I might have made in filling out the papers. Fortunately it worked out.
Best of luck fellow Texan.

Yeah I had a crazy weekend as well as it seems alot of us Dec. guys had. On friday my dog was very sick and today(monday) around 8am I had to put my beloved 13yr old pit bull Madison to sleep. She was suffering from liver failure and was just a matter of time before she passed. So my family and I agreed it was the best thing to do for her. So on top of waiting for Laddawan and for my NOA2 to be approved...this happens to me!!!! Can anyone say extra rum for the Texas guy???lol Sorry to be a downer guys, but just thought I'd share a little piece of my personal life other than this crazy journey we are all on. I'm trying to stay positive and upbeat but its hard...the one thing that would help would be approval soon, lol!!!! Oh well, on ward and full speed ahead toward a brighter future for us all, take care guys!!!!!

That is great!!! I have not been touched since 1-3-2010...I hope someone will touch us soon (our petition, not us personally)
Yeah no touch for us since 12-31-09, but no biggie as long as we got our rum and our Parrot...Its smooth sailing for us Dec. filers!!!!!!
Arrrrrrg!!!!!

Matt,
I just noticed that our timelines are quite similar. I also finalized my divorce on 12-9-2009 after 21 Loooong months! We would have filed in September, but I had to wait for our very slow courts here in VA to give me the signed divorce decree. I hope you receive good news soon!
Jim
Yeah finalized mine after 17 months or so. I wish I could of finalized it upon my return from Thailand...but I too had to wait for the court system to run its course. But soon I will be with Laddawan once again....she is my love, my life and my everything!!! Good luck to you and all of us on this wild journey!!!

Multiple trips to Thailand for K1?
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
Wow thnx for the thorough explanation it is very much appreciated. I also got together a notarized letter from my mother and father talking about their acceptance of our relationship as well. An invoice for the purchase of our wedding package and pictures of the wedding chapel and reception area. All of our evidence is being put together by the visa company and Ive labeled lots of stuff but Im hoping they will put the last finishing touches on it in order to get her approval Another question how long approx does it take to get back the Thailand police background check? Her medical and background check were done on april 22 and we have nothing back on the background check as of today.
Thanx guys,
Matt
