I know pictures arent the main evidence needed for ROC. However I will be including some important ones. My question is do they need to be the real pics or can I just scan some and make copies? I dont wanna lose my pictures. Any thoughts?
-
Yes I too will be putting my package together in a large brown envelope.
-
thnx for the reply, I appreciate it.

Just wondering if all the evidence for ROC is prepared and presented in the same way as the original visa petition was? For example: All forms and evidence 2 hole punched at the top and secured with an acco fastener? Plastic tabs on the bottom identifying each page or section? An accordion style folder housing all of the ROC package? Just wondering on the presentation on the package....any help would be awesome thnx guys.

Because of course, she now has an I-551!
The I-551 is available as a stamp in your passport. There's also a physical version, more commonly known as a green card! You only need one I-551 and you've got it!
Yeah I figured that..however she reads alot of forums of people talking about getting the stamp so just figured I'd ask anyway, thnx!

Yeah my wife received her green card in the mail last week on 4/20.....with no interview also!!!!

My wife received her green card in the mail yesterday(no interview) and was wondering, does she need to have her passport stamped for I-551? If so where would she have to go to get this done? Thnx

YESSSSSSSS !!! Green Card Approved.!!!
We arrived 8AM and waited 30 Minutes and they called us exactly at our appt. time 8:30 AM... We had no translator and nobody there spoke Spanish.
Go figure as we were 15 minutes from Philidelphia.. Anyway the interviewer called someone in another office and did a speaker phone interview..They asked her all the yes and no answere from the I-485 form..The same as Mark and Carol..Our interview was about 25 minutes because tthey wanted to know more about my prior marriage to a different Colombiana 5 years ago..That and they went over my criminal conviction from 25
years ago and asked Maria does she see anything drug related items in the house...####### ?? It was 25 years ago !! :whistle
In the end it was a red stamp in the passport GREEN CARD APPROVED..........
Congrats to you and your wife.....oh yeah I just purchased tickets for me the wife and my mother to go up to Jersey on July 2nd - 18th!!!! Perhaps we could meet up and really have some actual rum lol! Congrats again to you and take care!!!!!!

It just seems wrong to REQUIRE the 2010 taxes considering we don't actually have to file them until April 15, 2010. Hoping we don't get the same RFE, since I can't do my taxes until after I return from the BVI's to get my British Letter from the accountant (the form of W-2's) which won't be until the end of February.
Good luck with finishing up the RFE and wishing the rest of us not to get one! Heading to the Bio appointment tomorrow morning, woohoo
Yeah I thought the same thing! Although the last 6 months of pay stubs make sense but I never read about it anywhere in the instructions for filing for AOS....****UPDATE PLEASE**** If I over looked it Im sorry
-
Matt,
Sorry about your RFE...that sucks!! I don't understand the USCIS. Some people breeze right through the process and others encounter problems.
It would be quicker to send one of the extra copies of your W2 and then ask your employer for the letter.
Ok got the letter from my company and my W2 ready to send as well. I heard some people say they submitted the last 6 months of pay stubs as evidence of current employment. I however never read anywhere about doing this in the instructions for filing my I-485...wish I would of done it now! Gonna mail this off tomorrow!!!
Checklist:
RFE letter
Employer letter
2010 W2
Last 6 months of pay stubs as well just to be sure
Wish me luck
-
Yeah it sucks...hope everyone else does not get RFE'd like me....who knows? Its an easy fix just sucks to have our case delayed like this. However its an easy fix I think. Hopefully I can get all I need to fix our situation by tomorrow.I will keep everyone posted of happenings as they occour.

Got RFE'd today ugggh......this is so stupid! They say I need to submit a income tax return for the most recent tax year(2010). I sent in the 3 recent tax years statements07, 08,09...however Im assuming the USCIS looks at it like that I was fired or layed off and had no income for 2010. Im still working at the same job hello?????????? I need to submit a statement from my company explaining my position and salary and etc.
Just wondering if I could just submit one off my sections of my 2010 W2 and this would be allright?
