InshaAllah he will be with you soon. Tell him to get the Translated Birth Certificate ASAP and submit that. The embassy people approved our case just after two days once i submitted my new passport which they asked for at the time of interview.

Well I forgot in my previous post to state that after he left his interview he went to get it and brought it back thats when he received the piece of paper and gave them his passport... But they still say they havent seen his paper yet.. I emailed them and asked if I should send him back over to give them yet another one.. Inshallah they will email me tomorrow.. They are pretty quick on emailing back thank god!

I cant wait for him to be here already with our daughter!! She misses him terribly!! This morning when we woke up she looked at the pictures of him on our wall, cried and pointed and said babaaa(father in arabic)...... It is soo sad

The only thing wrong on the Birth certificate was that the translator spelled his fathers name wrong.... lol

And I just noticed I failed to say that he took it to them the same day as his interview lol oops sorry

He went to get a new translation bc the one he had was done wrong.. Do they usually take forever to look at those papers? Dont get me wrong.. I know I sound really impatient and I am, and I am sooo grateful to be this far, I just dont want to wait and wait for nothing and them have lost it... What do you guys think?

To all who have heard me complain and anticipate AP after the interview ... I had good reason. See below.

So to my friend's urging (jewel) after the interview - she told me to call DOS.

So I tried on the day of the interview ...no luck getting through.

So I call today (yesterday being the interview).

I get a lovely lady on the phone...

Tell her I need a status check on my file ...k1, fiance ...case number blah blah blah

Then she disappears

I said hello? She said: hold on

I said ... I know it is probably too early bc systems haven't updated yet ...but just thought I would try...

She says ... hold on please and disappears ...long moment of silence

Then all I hear is: "wow"

I said what!??!

She said: It's a miracle

I said what??!

She said: His visa was issued today, Beirut always takes months!

I said ...(Insert nervous/happy/excited laugh here) thank you...thank you ...byebye

I think I will go to church this christmas ...heheehe I'm so happy!!!! I don't know what my other half did ..I called him and said what did you do during the interview?!?!?! Even DOS is shocked you got it so fast ...his reply: I did magic.

I can't believe it ...and really thought I would be stuck in AP.

He gets to pick it up today (his time) wednesday !!!!

Same thing here....just got an orange paper. He was told to come and pick up his passport.

I'm pretty sure that's considered an approval or else it would say AP.

So i'm sticking to ...we are approved!!!

Ohhhh I hope it is for both of us!! I cant wait to see him in the airport here and be the one picking him up instead of being picked up haha.. And forever!! OMG we can finally start our lives together inshallah

The man told him that they trust our relationship.. Does that sound like an approval or AP?? I am soo confused!!

If it's not too personal can I ask what the 2 questions were?

He had a man.. And he just asked him how old she was and for her birth certificate

Well he had a very short interview.. was only asked 2 questions(only about our daughter) and the interviewer looked at his pictures no other proof.. Took his passport and told him they would call him.. So now just waiting for the phone call.. Inshallah he will get it soon and come to be with his family!!

Haha I know all about the sleep thing.. I havent slept good in days and I know there will be no sleeping tonight for me too! I have already cried twice , once after we were saying goodbye and good luck and then again a few minutes ago.. This is nerve wrecking lol So Its 4 1/2 hours before his interview time.. It is sooo surreal now This is how I am feeling at this moment - lol I hope you others girls are hanging in there still!!

We can pray for each other!! Mine will be going to his in about 9 hours! Inshallah we will both have the best christmas present ever!!!!

I thought when I met him in the airport and I had our daughter I was nervous and excited, but now I know that that was nothing lol.. I am sooo very nervous but excited too bc of the possibilities.. He is ready! Hes really good on the questions and we have all the papers.. Now its just up to the interviewer, which scares the ####### out of me more than anything!! Inshallah everything will go smoothly and he will get his visa with no issues! AP im sure he will get it, but praying for no denial at least!!! Please everyone if you would send your prayers our way! We need all we can get!!
