Now the wait begins lol

I totally feel ya Sarah-JAX lol they got mine on Monday so hopefully we hear something soon!!! Im ready for this to be done with too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They sent an email today stating they received our RFE.. Our case is now in RFE response review.. hopefully we get a quick response!!

My husband came over by himself through JFK.. He said the line was fairly short and when he got up the the customs they took like 5 minutes and let him through.. He said it was super fast.. I guess it just depends on how much they want to do lol

On the other hand I have a friends whos husband from Morocco just came over.. He missed his flight I think it was like 3-4 hours in between the flight time.. So it just depends really...

Sent back our RFE yesterday hoping it gets to them before Monday so they can jump on it when they start HAHAHAH(wishful thinking lol)

Got our EAD on the 22nd!

I am sending back my husbands RFE for medical today and I just want to make sure all I need to send is sent..

1) MEDICAL ENVELOPE

2) BLUE COPY THEY SENT ME SHOWING RFE

Is this all I need to send to them?

Well we finished my husbands medical today.. He had a positive TB test from the skin test they give so we had to go get him xrays.. They said he was all clear Thank God!! The doctor said the false positive was probably due to my husband getting a vaccine from his country called BCG.. Its not given in the US just under developed countries.. But anyways hoping to have his papers sent back to USCIS monday.. Does anyone have a clue how fast USCIS usually approves(HOPEFULLY) after they accept the RFE back?

We are in the process today thru friday getting my husbands medical done.. Since the tb takes 2 days we had to get a hotel.... SarahJax I would just go do it and see what the dr says.. he will tell you what he will do..

Well I decided to call USCIS about our RFE.. The person I talked to confirmed that they knew I sent the papers on November 22nd and thats the date they go by in order to determine if we need another medical.. Seeing as we got his medical done December 8 2009 We were before the 1 year cutoff... He confirmed that we were but said that the government is "looking into" only using the 1 year for people who have filed but havent been APPROVED FOR AOS within a year.. Which is complete ####### because they havent decided to make it a law/rule yet or not.. I really think its not fair to want us to get another one since we filed within the year.. So we have to pay for another exam gas hotel room for 2 days since the TB test takes awhile.. If I hadnt filed before the year was over I understand that I should have to do it but I did file before the year.. The representative that I spoke to told me its pointless to fight it because it would take too long to resolve it and our case would probably be closed before they even read the message that would be sent lol So looks like we are getting a medical done!

How much does it cost to apply for the visitor visa? Total costs? And do u have to be a citizen to invite someone or just a resident?

That is just absolutely ridiculous!! How is one day gonna make any difference? I have been calling around today to get quotes for how much it will cost and they are so outrageous!! One said 300 other said between 600-1000$ lol How do they sleep at night!!

The RFE says this:

A review of the record indicates tha the applicant, Adnane entered the US with a valid K-1 visa.

The record shows that over 12 months has elapsed since the applicant was medically examined in conjunction with his K-1 entry.

My husband had his medical done on December 8, 2009 right before his interview.. We filed our AOS papers on November 22nd..

So if I didnt send the copy of the medical record would it be sufficient to just send it in?

Well we were late in doing our papers.. My husband had his medical in December of 2009 but I was under the impression that as long as we filed before December 2010 we would be fine.. I dont now though possibly I dont know what I am talking about haha.. I just hope its not too expensive if we will have to do another medical!! This immigration stuff is too expensive as it is!

I got mine... They are wanting my husband to do another medical exam.. What are the guidelines there? I thought as long as you filed before the 1 year then you wouldnt have to do it.. Can anyone clarify it for me? Im not sure if we sent a copy of his immunizations from Morocco or not.. I dont know if that would really make a difference since they have the records.. Please if anyone knows let me know so I can figure out what to do...

Just looked on the USCIS website for the 1000th time today and our card is in production!! Thank God for a little good news!!!!

Didnt get the paper in the mail today hoping for tomorrow.. I am really curious as to what they need.. I keep hoping maybe they clicked on the wrong thing HAHAHA wouldnt that be nice to get an approval in the mail instead.. So much for wishful thinking I guess lol

Sarah-Jax I got the same thing today.. I dont know why they would wait so long to request more evidence it really doesnt make sense.. But at least that shows they looked at our papers, Thats the only good I see in it and hopefully when they get it they will approve fast!!

Hoping my husband gets his EAD card soon we are on day 72 and it seems this is the time He cant wait to have it in his hands lol

Case transferred to CSC on the 13th!! Happy to see something new when I check my status lol
