Successfully completed our biometrics appt on the 5th.. Now just waiting for EAD Congrats on everyone who has received their EAD/AP and interviews!!

Received my biometrics appt yesterday.. 12/16 for 01/05/2011... So happy to see things going fairly quickly!!

Got my NOA1 yesterday 12/11... Now waiting for the bio appt

I mailed my AOS package on the 22 of November and I just received my E-notification yesterday Dec 8th.. I think its going so slow bc everyone(like myself) tried to send before the fees went up lol

oh so im okay? that is the only form in my package that was out of date.. I am so worried it would get sent back

I have a friend who was in the same situation as you.. but it has been more than a year since his last interview.. Anyways he went to his second one last month and they needed all new documents from him but there was no interview.. They wanted new birth papers, court, medical, police record.. Had to pay again for all of those things.. But again it was over a year, so maybe this wont apply to you guys.. Wish you luck!!

Just realized I used the example form from visajourney for the I-864 and its out of date... So much for trying to file before the fees go up lol.... Looks like my package will be coming back.. So aggravating!!

Did you use the forms shown on the example forms here on visajourney? I just realized I did that and its out of date.. AHHHHHHH It expired on 10/31/2010 Looks like I will be getting back my package too.. So much for trying to beat the new fees hahahaha

New November filer woooo hoooo... Sent ours off yesterday November 22nd! By the look of everyones timelines things seem to be pretty quick.. With getting biometrics appts anyways.. Good luck to us all!!!

If we send our papers out tomorrow 11/22 do we have to pay the new fee or the old one? Since the new fees dont take affect until 11/23 wouldnt it be the old one since we are sending off before the change happens? Just need some clarification....

So even if we send tomorrow 11/22 we will have to pay the new fee? Wouldnt it just matter when it is sent off??

Wondering how to send the money for the AOS paperwork.. Last time I sent in the I-129F paperwork I did a money order and sent it in like that to the Homeland Security.. For our AOS paperwork we are getting the money from another person.. Does the check/money order that is sent into the Homeland Security have to be signed by me or can it be signed by another person??

My husband tried to send me money from Morocco but was told he could only send it from some place in Rabat... He couldnt send to me though bc we dont have the same last name at the time.. Tell ur husband to look into that, ask at his local moneygram location.. If your husband is here with you his parents should be able to send to him

Im sure this question has been answered more than enough times but i cant seem to find exactly what i want.. My question is this, my husband came on the k-1 visa and we want to apply for AOS now.. The fees for the AOS & EAD are 1010$ does that include the biometrics fee or is the biometrics fee extra.. and when we send the checks for payment how many checks do we send and how do we split them up? I hope I asked that clearly lol if not just ask me to clarify.. Thanks
