Today is Tony and my 2nd wedding anniversary
Time flies when you're having fun!
-
Two years ago today I immigrated to the US. Today is my anniversary and I nearly forgot except FB reminded me
-
is pleased to announce that I start full time work on the 8th June 2011
Very excited
My first interview too

Re the AR-11. That's a bit odd. I'm looking at the page now https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa.cr.Residence and the "if not a PR" box doesn't have an asterix meaning it doesn't need to be filled in. Are you sure you haven't missed another box?

Congrats on your approval!! Now you can put all your paperwork in a folder and put it away for 21 months till you need to file ROC
I have started an ROC guide but won't post it till it's closer to my ROC time (just in case something changes when I'm not looking)

Once you move you have 10 days to file an AR-11 and your sponsor/s will need to do an I-865 as well. You can do the AR-11 online but I personally mailed mine as well with the I-865 because there are two systems where your address is stored and sometimes just doing the online changes one system and not the other.

Having the DHS authorisation removed isn't a big deal but some people have said in the future having a non-restricted card looks good. For me I needed to change my last name as well and I wanted to register with them that I was now a GC holder. I would if I were you. It's not a big deal but just when you think of it.

I read the instructions here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/n-400instr.pdf and no mention of a new medicals so I'm saying no, no new medical. Which makes sense because you had to be up to date to enter the country so maybe they assume you're complete now?

Hey
The interview letter you got is standard wording. just take a copy of everything you sent, and originals (like marriage and birth cert) in case they need it. Don't worry
I'm sure you'll go fine
-
isn't doing anything interesting.

On a VJ break - will be checking my VJ msgs if anyone wants to talk to me. Good luck to you all **hugs**
-
- there are days I don't have the energy or time to "pretty" my posts to make them all nice and friendly and happy. This doesn't mean I'm being nasty, it means I'm tired. I'm sick of people taking things the wrong way

Thanks guys I need the support sometimes. I'm sure you all understand that it's hard being away from close family/friends sometimes. I have now received a warning for my "behaviour". Gunna take a VJ break for a while. I'll still check VJ messages so if you need anything I'll get back to you. If you have FB I have that too just send me a msg on here and if I know you well enough
I'll send you a request
Good luck to you all. **Hugs**

is back in the US (have been for a couple of days, just slack on updating
). Not sure how I feel about Tony's friends knowing where stuff in my house is better than me.. /sigh, that's what happens when you aren't there when it's time to move in...

every now and then needs to remind herself that some people are nuts... maybe a sign saying "don't feed the animals" would benefit... :S

Can't wait to see my hubby & puppy again

I have my greencard now so I left after I had that. You will get your AP in 2 months, however if you need to expedite first you need to file AOS etc, then make and INFOPASS and they should be able to get it to you quicker. You'll need to take in a medical document or something stating your fathers ill-health in order to get the expedite. I'm sorry you're going through this
I know it's hard. and thanks on the house
Makes me happy to know we can finally make changes to OUR...

I have a letter from my Dad's GP he emailed me himself, will print that and the email from Doc out and send with each doc, where can i get info on this INFOPASS? USCIS told me to call when docs are received and request expedite due to dads health hope it wont take 2 months as that is all he may have left, we had no idea his health would deteriorate like this, makes it very hard on both of us as Leo has to get aussie visa also and that takes forever
