    Oh my goodness...JUNE 7th!!at 8:30am Hong Kong!!

    I can't believe it...Less than one month away...I have to organize my flight, his flight, hotel stay, his medical, all evidence, documents....Oh my goodness, how am I going to do that?

    It sucks because in Hong Kong, you can't have your medical till you have the interview letter....now, we only have less than a month left....

    SO excited, but also a little freaked out right now...I was thinking we won't get it till the end of June or July....SO soon....

    I left the Consulate about one hour ago. Had to check out the hotel and check in Ipanema beach. Then internet not working and bla bla bla!!!

    Gotta call my mom now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I love everyone here but I keep saying a special prayer for you bro. You are a very sincere person and I want you to get that friggin appointment already. Do you know anyone who is in a similar situation like yourself or was in a similar situation? maybe their timeline could be an indicator for your prospective interview date.

    Hey Jaxson ...in a Dominican Forum I have seen different cases for the dominican embassy and the category of Aneudy... The most quick one was a person that complete case in December and around March his interview was set for May...so according to that timeline Aneudy interview should be in August...but it looks that there is not a lot of approvals at the embassy because my interview according to the timelines was supposed to be for July and they gave me June...and a lot of person that complete case in Last week of april also got June interview wich is weird because normally the wait is between 2-4 monts for preference category..so I have a great feeling that Aneudy will receive his interview date in this mont of May..around the 20th and it will be a July interview

    APPROVEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!said there were no problems - no questions - super easy! :) :) yay! more in a future review. yay!!!!!rest of the week 2 - good news is coming! :)

    APPROOOOOOOVED!!!Same here, barely any questions, had some laughs with both the security guys and the CO. Was finished and out of the Embassy at 09.13. Not to bad at all!Sorry for not updating earlier,I had to get home first!Congrats Dawn! Great day isn't it!Now Sachi,you are up in about 10 hours right? I'll keep my fingers crossed and you in my prayers! Not that you need it,you'll be fine! Can't wait to congratulate you tomorrow!!And Nat,your up after that!! What a great week!

    We have FINALLY SIF'd today - after a long, arduous, process, trying to get a certified copy of Ian's divorce decree, overnighting it via FedEx...waiting for that damn volcano to stop erupting long enough to get it from the UK to the US...sitting in customs...and then waiting 2 weeks for NVC to finally get around to it...God I hope we can get a June interview date this week...something, absolutely ANYTHING has GOT to go our way...for once!

    Yeah.. Congratulations it was about time.....

    Thank you. I called AVR again and confirmed case is completed on May 6. I still can't login to NVC website. I am just a little confuse why a check-list response/RFE after case complete?

    Hopefully I can have this cleared on Monday...and interview date next week too.

    Thank you for every one's help and good luck to every one that's waiting for SIF/interview or have interview soon!

    Edgar... what category of visa are you applying for ?

    For the interview you are going to need:

    PASSPORT

    NATIONAL ID CARD

    Two (2) recent COLOR photographs

    An original and legalized birth certificate ( in the in extensa format)

    MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

    DIVORCE CERTIFICATE (if apply)

    EVIDENCE OF RELATIONSHIP

    JUDICIAL AND PRISON RECORDS

    MILITARY RECORD

    POLICE CERTIFICATE

    MEDICAL EXAMINATION
