He said it went well, that the waiting was the hard part! Didn't even look at any of the extra evidence I sent him. And the funny thing was the guy who interviewed him grew up 10 minutes from where I live! Small World!

I am still surprised that when I emailed the embassy in Jordan they said my husband only needed his passport and medical exam!(of course we are taking MUCH more!)

Yes... I don't think that nothing more than the DNA test is requested... of couse in a base family visa...

I'd barely even call what I did as an "interview"... I'll do a full write up sometime today...

The pre-screening lady scared the absolute ####### out of me... She asked me for my mum's 2009 tax return... I was like "uhhh, I don't have that, nor was it a request on any paperwork that I've received"... and the lady just said "alright, well we'll leave that for now and we'll see if they need it later". It was never mentioned again...

The guy interviewing asked how many times I've been to the US and what the max stay was, how long mum has been there, how mum immigrated to the USA, what profession she was in and how long she has been doing it.

He then made me sign a piece of paper that said if I get married between now and entering the states, my visa is nullified. Fair enough - it was an unmarried son over 21 petition after all

Gave me that sheet of paper that I posted the pic of and said I was approved.

Well well well.. that was pretty fast...

Many congratulations again... I hope to have one like that...
