  1. does anyone understand the concept of how e-mails are processed as they come but e-mails that are sent so many days after I sent mine are processed before mine? Sorry, venting a little, but I really do not get the system...

I have no idea, but considering that someone just received their IV bill after sending their e-mail two days after mine (September 23rd vs. September 21st), and the only difference being that they mailed a hard copy too, I'm beginning to think they're just not processing e-mail anymore, or something.

I'm going to call and speak with a supervisor today.

I spoke to a rep a little while ago and she confirmed they are still processing e-mails, its taking them about three weeks to process both hard or electronic mail...I wanted to know if I should send a hard copy and she said it really would not make a difference as to how fast things are being processed

to be frank i did not send in a hard copy my hubby just emailed them after sighning the doc it only took three days ,, they are just buzyy and as a matter of fact the operator told me it would be thge fasters if we email them not send hard copy ,,,, they are def buzyyy dragging every one's case that is what is it when you think about it email should not take all this long ( per mine clarification) 10-14 days for ds3032 to be accepted , jeeeeee what is going on NVC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????/

I wonder how much double work they are doing there. Think about it, if everyone emails in their forms, then sends them via snail mail, someone is doing work that may have already been completed. How annoying would that be and imagine how easy it would be to just toss stuff aside because 9 times out of 10 it has already been entered?

I know! I can imagine how annoying i must but but it probably makes their life so much easier!

Actually, they have a 3rd payth who processes the e-mailed 3032s just like a 3rd party processes their payments, the hard copy goes directly to their mailroom...

Yes, I know that-how can they still process e-mails out of order?

That I cannot answer? But NVC farms out work to 3rd parties to do their processing, the only thing I can think of is that perhaps they gave a bunch to another processing center because of the latest rush from USCIS (like when they transfer from CSC ot VSC) and one processing center is faster than the other??? Just an idea

Sorry, that was a rhetorical question.

  2. FYI: a rep just told me that they are currently processing emails from Sept 11th today...

That's good to know. I sent mine on September 22nd, so dont know when it will be accepted. Have you sent your AOS packet yet?

sponsor said he fedexed the stuff but I still did not receive it (I'm in Pakistan myself these days)...looks like the ds230 is going to go out the same time as the AOS packet...

    how have you been?

Oh you are in Pakistan. Must be having fun. Same here. I will be sending the AOS along with the DS 230 (let's hope). I am trying to get a December interview date. I am fine. Just stressed! How about you?

It is super hot here! Where are you living- I am in Lahore. I think I will have to send the AOS with the DS 230 too at this point- I was shooting for a December interview but now I will settle with whatever I get!

I wish i knew! I already was expecting time to be wasted for AP but NVC i was expecting to be a breeze...It has already been over a month since I started the whole NVC process and I am still stuck on the ds3032- that is just sad!

please announce your answer after you finish concersation with supervisor here on forum , I am really curiosity , I sent my DS3032 on 24 September and mail and e-mail and I saw some with the same sent date already have been accepted, it is not fair

I know! I sent mine on Sept 15th and its really hard to see people who sent it after so many days get their acceptances first

Yes but they claim they process all e-mail and mail on a first-come, first-serve basis. If this was the case, then your e-mail (and mail) if you sent it would have been processed before someone who sent it 8 days ago. And this is the one time where I have a lot of trouble believing that "every case is unique," as it would be if they had evidence to process. This is a one-page form. So I want to ask a supervisor what the actual deal is, and if I need to resend my form, or (doubtful, but I will ask) if he/she can confirm my e-mail was received and process it him/herself.

please do keep me updated...the fact that the dsd 3032 is the simpilest form is the most aggravating part!

  10. I called NVC today also because its been over 2 weeks now and they told me it doesn't matter- email or regular mail is taking about 3 weeks to process because of how busy they are...I asked her if I should resend the 3032 and she said to hang on because they probably have it but they are just really behind on processing

Tsk tsk... Omyy.. this is not GOOD... Grrrr.... that is why we haven't sent it tru MAIL coz there advice it doesn't matter..

I sent it NOW tru EMAIL again. and also I scan my CHOICE OF AGENT and I will ask my Husband to sent it tru MAIL soon to make it sure..

the QUESTION.. are they allowed my CHOICE OF AGENT tru SCAN only? or they need an ORIGINAL choice of AGENT..

original signature if by regular mail- i just confirmed with them

  11. Sigh. I'm beginning to think I should mail the paper DS-3032. It's been 10 full days now, and I'm just getting tired of waiting for something to happen. I seriously don't understand why this form is even necessary. It's just to establish who they should send further forms to--something that is EASILY communicable over the phone in around 2 seconds.

dont be worried they take 15 days to accept that , that is normal now a days so wait a little more , even mine was accepted after fifteen days

It has been 16 days for me and I am still not acccepted- I know the most frustrating part is that it is perhaps the simpiliest paper!

  12. ds 3032= over 2 weeks now.... still getting the reply that it takes a long time for them to be processed- does anyone have the same submission date as me?

    September 15th via email???

NO!! mine only took four days ( not including the weekend) so i am not gonna say 15 days ,,,, i guess they are getting slow

i sent my DS3032 at the same date 24 September via mail and e-mail i valled NVC today but operator told me they did not recive my DS3032 , too slowly

i am so tired of this process

I know, I feel like they are draining my patience!

I am going nuts! They first said its going to take time- ok I gave them 15 days- and today the rep is like "oh we are resending the e-mail for your husband's ds3032". I asked them if they received the original email and she said that they dont know because they are always processing e-mails and she basically shut the phone before finishing the conversation. On top of that, she started giving information to me right after i gave her my case number without confirming who I am. Midway she realized she should ask my name!

you know what ,, i have had that before i don't know how they are trained these operators don't have any kind of professionalizm at allllllllllllllllllllll,,, the calls are not recorded, and their is no way to track who talked to you previously to mention to a supervisor with their employee ID ,, they really don't care at all about customer service issues or atleast not to hang up your call it is really sad ,, well just hang in their ( i hate telling you ths ) because i know you are doing just that apparently , call back and just have courage ! because this is not a normal office where you complain even though they are getting paid because of our calls they don't sense that am getting mad about that !!!

I know, this process is just tougher than I expected it to be! especially the ds3032 is the simpiliiest form!

  15. FYI, my hubby rang today regarding our ds3032 which I had emailed, and they confirmed they "have it, but it's still in line as there are other emails before it in line"

I guess this is a good thing, at least they confirmed they have it.

    So far, so good....

It's getting so close to our one year wedding anniversary now I'm starting to lose hope if getting there by then...

Even though I'm grateful we are getting closer to the end, the distance is really starting to take it's toll on us.

    :(

I know the distance is really tough- especially with your one year anni coming up- I was lucky I got to fly back to Pakistan to be with my husband on ours. At least they confirmed with you over the phone that they have it- I just spoke to NVC and they are still saying they need time to process emails and they have not accepted mine yet...

I guess all of us just have to hang in there for a while longer...
