Hey everybody just want to share some good news with you we got SIF yesterday at 09:12 pm but on the AVR it was updated today to the NVC has received the ckeck list letter response on may 20 .

if she does not claim taxes how do i get an audit done number 1 and in the second place does she write something stating of her financial cos she does not file a w-2

yahya - the first screening on the I-864 looks for W-2 income.

She has none.

She'll have to prepare some financial statement, notarized or have a CPA prepare an 'audited income statement'.

I am not sure but is that considered to be means-tested income? I believe disability income is considered means-tested income which can not be used to satisfy the income requirement. I asked someone here on the base headquarters and thats what they told me. Sorry, hope that info will help you. Can you find a co-sponsor to help her qualify? Oh my friend said its considered means tested public benefits. Maybe thats why they no accept it?

What do you mean she don't claim taxes? Are you trying to say her income can't be varified thru IRS records/Tax returns?

hi everyone i have a question, can someone please help....my wife is on disability due to an illness but she does make enough to sponsor our family...2 and me make 3...she makes 23,580.00 yearly and the poverty guidline is 22,887.00...she sent out the affidavit of support and then they asked for more info and she sent it to them and now they say it wont work because she does not claim taxes...if she makes enough for our family to sponsor me why would they do this...it never said on the application that if you are disabled you can not sponsor your wife or husband...does anyone know about this matter, and what should we do.

I don't know if asking people right after Christmas for $800 is a good idea. Maybe you can get a credit card or ask for loan from a financial institution? Good luck!

no i don't have assets and my husband doesn't have relatives

hi everybody some of you may know us we been denied last december for k-1 and we got married on febuary this year and we filed CR-1 and we waited 6 moths to get approved now it has been 2 moths since our case is on hold at NVC with no joint sponsor we are $800 short and i can not work im disabled and i asked every church and mosque and nothing we were wondering if someone can help us please

Any chance you could get a second job (even two nights a week at McD's will add up), or have assets you could include, or your foreign spouse have savings you could count?

we made many topics on here but nothing everybody just put us down and i had someone who said they can help us but when we got online with them they ask for $5000 to do it can you imagine even if we have the money we won't do it if someone want to help they won't ask for money

and right now we don't know how we gonna make it
