  1. Since you have to renounce allegiance to your former country when you naturalize and the US does not generally recognize dual citizenship, there is no impact on how long it takes to process your N-400. Whether your prior country of citizenship chooses to continue to recognize you as their citizen is entirely up to them. As for how much time it takes for proceedings to retain your prior citizenship, that depends on the your former country of citizenship, specifically what their procedure is, and what the processing timeframe of the consulate with jurisdiction is.

I'm afraid you'll need to clarify your question a bit in order to get a more relevant answer.

Thanks for your input, My husband called and spoke to someone who works there .and We BOTH decided to go there tommorow and apply for it in person. again thanks.

edit: I'm already a US citizen, I just need to apply a DUAL CITIZEN.

  2. I had one filipina friend She married to USC but filled a K1 visa but she got Approved, I cant believe that. I though she will get a problem and need to refile a K3 but I was shocked, She's approved and waiting her visa now. Life is so unfair sometimes,

Probably because She provided a COMPLETE requirements.

You have limited options without enough income. You either need enough assets to make up the difference or a co-sponsor.

did the consulate officer tell you whether or not you could use another co-sponsor?

If her fiance can't provide enough income where are they going to get money for MORE expenses when She get here? edit: utang?:help:

  4. They will just allow Marcos to be buried until the interested parties will get all the Marcoses' wealth. Yan patas na ang laban. :star:

They already took all Imelda's amazing 400 gem-studded tiaras, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, watches and other items from the Hawaii collection. They were shown to the media at the central bank building, where they are kept in a vault and says We need the money to fund our land reform program..Sana nga lang.. I still remember the media have valued the collections at $20 million

I think they already got some of those Marcoses wealth atleast 1/3 of it but still is not enough.

At asan na ang perang yan Bulaklak?

Iwan ko, hindi ko naman hawak ang perang yon  , narinig ko lang yan sa balita, baka gosto mo silang tanungin.

  5. Of course, you cannot expect Ferdinand Marcos to rise from the dead and ask apology to the Filipino people.

He should asked apologies even when He was nearly to death.

 Imelda Marcos doesn't have the full grasp of knowledge on how her husband ran the country before.

Tama ang alam lang niya kung paano gastohin ang pera nang taong bayan.master siya being a big time spender person in the whole world. alam niya na siya at ang husband niya may nagawang mali pero ayaw aminin. kung sa bagay walang magnanakaw na gostong umamin sa kasalanan na gawa nila.

I would not say jealous.. but I would say posessive... "My Husband" her fav saying... Just as has been said.. not worried about me straying.. its about those other women wanting me... Ya right.. Like I am some Brad Pitt... I must admit its a great feeling to be looked at as a prize of some sort.. I feel the same way about her so I dont think its out of line for her to feel that way.

My thought exactly...sure,it is so creepy when your bf staring your sister.

hot or not her sister is,He acted creepy

  7. I have to say my Wife Nan is very very very jealous of me being around other ladies. I asking nan if she don't trust me, she always say she don't trust the other ladies in Thailand. One day her sister came out of the bath room from just taking a shower with nothing on but a towel. She start to talk to her cousin in the room at the time. I guess I look to long because when I turned and look at Nan I could tell she was mad as hell.

Methink, if your wife to be was not around at that time, you and her sister probably did something "miracle" :innocent:

  8. Democracy in PI is elusive and relative. How can we say that Filipinos are in a democratic country when people are deprived of their rights to express their thoughts and beliefs....even in this forum, it shows. There never was a democracy even after Cory Aquino took over.

I am one of those filipinos who still believe that Ferdinand Marcos was still better than Cory Aquino in terms of their leaderhip skills. The administration of Marcos was just ruined and tainted by his cronies and his wife. Cory Aquino was just became the president after or thru People Power. But mind you, that people power did not speak in totality the voice of the filipinos of what they wanted at that time. The people who participated that people power were coming mainly in Manila....how about the people in Visayas and Mindanao? It is a sweeping generalization that Cory Aquino is the best president in the Philippines. I could not remember anything remarkable that Cory did in her administration except that failure Agrarian Reform that Cojuangco mainly benefited from it.

  9. In my opinion, Cory Aquino was one of the worst presidents the Philippines has ever had. Who was the most excellent you might ask? I'll tell you, it's Ferdinand E. Marcos.

What?? are you into corrupt.

You may say who is corrupt but Pres. Marcos was everything but that. The people around the president were the ones who were corrupt and he did his best to clamp down on corruption and weed out the undesirables as he declared martial law. But some of his undesirable underlings, e. g., Gen Ramos and Sec. Enrile, were legends in their own minds and took advantage of the president’s ill health and they were behind the president’s decline.

In contrast, Pres. Aquino was nobody compared to Marcos. She was more like an actor who tried to appease the feelings of the fans. The pundits say that she became president as she took advantage of the people’s grief on her husband’s assassination. She acted like she was the champion of agrarian reform in the Philippines but the reform bill that she signed exempted large sugar cane plantations such as her family’s Hacienda Luisita in Tarlac. Presidents who came after Aquino were not good either.

Corazon Aquino she made a very remarkable thing in our country.

Like what? Listen, payasa, I don't have time to waste. Go find a sucker!

You have a lot of time payasa 'mariquita linda' thats why you are here..you're a big sucker .:bonk:

  10. Here's some of the history of your mother Imelda. odd woman she bought 3 thousand pair of shoes most of them are the same style and colors.

Imelda Marcos, once uncrowned queen of the Philippines, was born into poor family of five children, who lived with thier mother in a garage, sleeping on makeshift beds made of milk boxes and boards. when she became a young woman, she entered beauty contests in the Philippines and eventually married Ferdinand Marcos. she was especially impressed by his personal hoard of American green backs, which he really allegedly kept in piles in a private bank vault. she married him after a "romance" lasting eleven days. the Marcoses were to rule the Philippines for generation, during which they amassed wealth approximately 10 billion dollars, while the masses of Filipinos lived in poverty. Imelda did things during this time such as buying 12million dollars worth of jewelry on one trip to Europe alone. she opened a Philippine beach resort and sent a plane to Australia for some sand for it. she spent 10 million dollars on her daughter's wedding.

she claimed that there were no poor people in Phillippines. when Marcos of rule ended, 3thousand pairs of shoes, all belong to her, were found left behind in Malacanang palace. This is what she is remembered for.:help:

Marcos and Imelda are big time corrupt not only that they killed a lot of Filipino people.

Corazon Aquino she made a very remarkable thing in our country.

I kind of wonder if Imelda die one day if there are a lot of people will mourn her. :D She's kinda odd woman and a big joke first lady in the country.
