  1. I work at walmart, they do not sell any del monte juice... actually when I looked it up online seems in the usa there IS NO del monte juice, just delmonte fruits and misc other products. Ill have to check a hispanic store here, and double check our asian store.

  2. I have been looking for the Del Monte Pine-Orange juice, and the Nata de coco here in Texas area.. and am having no luck at all. Does anyone have any ideas where to look, Ive checked my local asian store here and they dont seem to carry them (allthought they carry plenty other philippine products). Anyway.. anyone in texas and know a place?

  3. We was planning for a marriage here in the USA with in 2 weeks of my fiancee ariving, the reason is her mother might be coming and she can only stay 2 weeks.

Well, then I notice a problem... Social Security Card... Texas requires a SS card/number to get a marriage license here, which it seems you have to wait 2 weeks to apply for (so it will be in the system) and another 2 weeks for it to arive. Hmm.. anyone else deal with this situation, have any tips for a solution? I cant afford to go out of state for a wedding, the wedding is going to be simple as it is already.. whew.

Call the County Court office. We got married in Arkansas, what we read said I needed SSN but when we called them they told us I could just bring my UK passport.

So you think its no issue, that I would be able to go ahead with the plans for marriage in 2 weeks of arival?

Other option would have been that my fiancee come here first, and once we get orginized her mother follow. I really didnt want it to happen that way because they would both have to travel alone here to the USA.

Guess I will just have to pray and hope for the best and continue with the plans for the 2 weeks.

    Thanks!

  5. Hmm... I estimate end of June-Early July for first approvals... hope its like next week... gosh, this wait sux....

    Hi ,

Yes thats what I was thinking as well..Most likely will start to see some in June ,,

Lets hope .. Have to heep are chin up

    chao

So I've been keeping an eye on the IGOR LIST (http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/vsc.aspx) and seems like it takes them about a half of a month to process one month of petitions, seeing as the December filers first started getting approved first of April. And now its mid april and January filers are starting to get approved. Well if this is the case, they will be working on February filers at the start of May, and finish with them in the middle of may. So My estimate is now (if this continues like this), that us March Filers may see approvals Mid-May and finish up with us by early June (which means Ill be like around end of may, if so).

I dunno if it will go this way, but im just thinking if this trend continues (we will see if Feb approvals start around may 1st).

Anyway, Im happy thinking it will.. so thats what ill think. LoL..

Positive thinking!!!! That´s what i need to hear right now..... the end of May sounds so much better for me than the July!!!:dance::yes:

Especially now when i got into school that starts in NYC in September....

    Thumps UP!

haha.. glass half full, anyway.. if so maybe we will be with our Loves by Septemeber... I pray so, God is faithful. Heh, all to do now.. is save save save.. and get ready for that wedding... cause Im getting married like with-in 2 weeks of her getting here! Waaah! LoL... Gosh I miss her so much..

  7. So when you file for the Ajdustment of Satus, the EAD and the Ap are free of charge?. IS it recommended to file for AP even if you don't use it?.

    Thanks,

Its an extra sheet of paper and 2 passport pictures. You never know what can happen ;)

So hold up, when you file for the AOS ($1010) the EAD, and AP are free to file with it?

    Yup

Sweet deal, I'll file for them both then when that time rolls around. Thank you for your Replies, Godbless.

  8. EAD and AP are interim benefits while the greencard is being processed.

Once you have the greencard in hand they are no longer needed.

So basicly if you can wait a couple of MONTHS (after AOS is approved you get green card right, I look at timelines and its like 2-3 months tops) for the green card then its best not to pay the fees for EAD and AP? Am I wrong when I look at these timelines or something, cause it seems pointless to spend $600+ on the EAD and AP just for couple of months of waiting time.

  9. Ok.. so you file for AOS.. and it seems it takes like a couple months, then you get Green Card.. after you get green card are you free to work and travel out of usa and back? I know about this EAD and AP, but is that just for the time between filing AOS and recieving green card- if so whats the point in paying all those fees for just that small amount of time (couple months it seems). Tell me where Im lost here?

  10. Oh sorry.. I have one last question if it can be awnsered:

Do I send just copies of the NoA 2 to my fiancee, and copies of the other papers she needs... only originals i send to her are of affidavint of support and employer letter? .. everything else is cool as copies (proof of relationship, etc ,etc)? what should i sent orignals of?

  11. When USCIS finishes processing you the petitioner will get a NOA2. At that point it is in NVC. You can call NVC and get a status. Once they send it to the USEM they will tell you that. At that point it is best to wait about 10 days. It takes a few days for the papers to get to the USEM and then a few days for them to process it. You can call them at +63-2-301-2000 ext. 5184 or 5185 and ask what the status is once NVC has sent it to them. Once they get the package from NVC and process it they will send a letter to the beneficary at the address on the forms you submitted to USCIS. But as soon as they process it you can also call the interview number and not wait for the letter to be delivered to the beneficary.

    Hope this helps.

It is very helpfull, and thank you for all the information.

    Godbless.

  12. Everything is covered at the USEM website. For K1 follow these directions. http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwfk1en.pdf

The directions cover all of the fees and where they are paid.

It is never to early to get the forms for the USEM filled out so you have them ready. Key is to start to gather all the documents you will need like the CENOMAR, Tax forms (ITRs) which you can order from IRS, birth cert, divorce paperwork if you had any, etc, etc.

Once you get your NOA2 from USCIS your case is transfered to the State Department's NVC. They will do some processing but usually within a couple of weeks your case is then forwarded to the USEM. While at the NVC you can call the NVC for an update. They will always say to call back in a couple of weeks. Key thing you want from NVC is your Manila Case number. It starts with MNL.

Then once it has been transfered to the USEM it takes about 1-2 weeks for the papercopy to arrive at the USEM. They do not do much until then and you can not setup an interview with the USEM until they process it. Once they do you can set up your interview.

You can take the medical at anytime once you get your NOA2 or you get a letter (some do and some do not) from NVC. Just go to St. Lukes and bring the letter and/or NOA2. But you can wait until you get your interview. Then bring the email you will get from the USEM to the medical. Usually interviews are at least 2-3 weeks from when you set them up and you only need to take the medical 1 week prior to your interview. But it is best to get it out of the way.

For the seminar you can do that anytime but you can not complete CFO until you get your visa so it is best to wait until you do have the visa and then get it all done at once.

So lets say you dont get a letter from the embassy stating they have it, and its processed? (btw how long does it take them to process it? Do they just have to recieve it and couple days later its good?) How do you find out if its processed, and ready for you to make the interview?

  13. I think there is no Packet 3 for philippines, and packet 4 is just online.. so am thinking the second embassy recieves the hard copy I can just download the packet 4 and schedule the interview?

Should she get the medical exam before I scedule the interview, or will the interview be far enough out for us to schedule it first.. and medical while we wait or are you supose to schedule the interview before the medical? Can she like take the seminar that they have to early also?

At this point right now im just saving, and we are trying to get all the paper work together for interview/medical... is it to early to even do that? Cause I already got an affidavent of support, and letter from employer dated in March/April...

Tell me what the best steps are please, for some one who has gone through this already.

    Im thinking:

NOA2 recieved, its sent to Emabassy.. we call them everyday and when they say they have recieved the hardcopy... we call and scedule interview imeddiatly, she takes medical, pay the fees for interview?(there are some right? What other fees you have to pay early?), then we wait for interview. Attend seminar, and bam?

  14. Buttercups and Golf balls...

Towards the end of the golf course, Tom hit his ball into the woods and found it in a patch of pretty yellow buttercups. Trying to get his ball back in play, he ended up thrashing just about every buttercup in the patch.

    All of a sudden . . . POOF!!

In a flash and puff of smoke, a little old woman appeared. She said, "I'm Mother Nature!"

"Do you know how long it took me to make those buttercups?"

"Just for doing what you have done, you won't have any butter for your popcorn for the rest of your life; better still, you won't have any butter for your toast for the rest of your life ... As a matter of fact, you'll never have any butter for anything the rest of your life!!!"

Then POOF! . . . she was gone!

After Tom recovered from the shock, he hollered for his friend, "Fred, where are you?"

Fred yells back, "I'm over here in the pu$$y willows."

Tom shouts back, 'DON'T SWING, Fred; FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T SWING!!!'

    LoL

  15. i thought this was gonna be about dog food.

Chow King and JolliBee are owned by the same company

JolliBee is the PI copy of McDonald, Instead of a clown they have a Bee for a Mascot.

ChowKing is like Chinesse Fast Food in PI

For some reason Philippines love Chowking and Jollibee, and they are expensive in term of food cost in PI

You can buy street food in PI and it 4 times cheaper and more healthy

Unlike Fast Food in USA where fast food is considered last choice for most, Fast Food in PI is new and a treat to eat at for most Philippines...

    Food is average at best..............

That chao fan spicy chicken and beef rice is above average.... and omg spicy! haha.. Love it, need to find out how to make it the same.
