Last question, I send a copy of the NOA 2.. right? Not the original..

I called the NVC and have gotten my case number, said they just recieved it on 8-10-2009. They say it takes 2-4 weeks to process? How much time does it really take to process usually?

Ok.. now that I have the case number what can I do?

After its mailed, do I call the embassy with case number to check when its recieved? Then I can scedule interview right? Plez tell..

We recieved our noa2 now, Im told the next step is to call NVC in couple days and get the case# and the date they sent it to the embassy. Is this correct?

After I have the case number, can we schedule the interview by phone? Or do I have to wait until the embassy comfirms having the case?

I need a timeline of what to do in the next couple weeks; our noa2 date is 8-6-09.

Also, for the medical.. she can go up there anytime or does she have to make an appointment?

Ok, What now? We have our noa2, I have all the copies of everything together ready to send my babeh.. I have the I-134, and all supporting docs... also everything she will require at the interview together to send. All I need is the NOA 2 in the mail and ill make a copy add it to my papers here, and package it together to send my babeh.

But I feel Im missing something?

Can someone tell me the exact steps I should take from right now, I am at the just recieved the NOA2 email stage.. I need to know the process exactly step by step up to being in my babehs arms.

The steps to me right now are:

1. Prepare papers make copies of everything I have currently for my fiancee.

2. Recieve NOA 2 in mail, copy.. add to package and send off package.

3.

(ok thats all I got, I think its call NVC, get case number.. then call embassy every once in a while until they say they have it, then scedule interview, and then get the medical appointment, medical-interview-Visa.. and then she had to take some sort of seminar?? then she can come here?.... whew.. is that it.. lay it out for me.. please....

Oh and generally how long is it from this point until shes here in my arms? 2 months?

I have got an approval today, Ill update igors list soon. Gotta get in contact with my babeh to tell her, wow.. God is the reason, I was thinking we was going to get an RFE cause of gaps in work history. Whew.. so much to do now.. I pray everyone gets theres soon.

The address change on the gov website is for us citizens or foiegners who have already entered the usa. How can I change the address for her Im wondering, since im only at the noa1 stage.

I am in a similar situation: we are in the NOA1 stage and I have to move soon here in Spain. My fiance Bill called yesterday the USCIS to ask about that and they said, that he shoud send them a letter with my new address (you can put the number of your case to make things easier for them).

LoL.. so funny everyone is like the same on this process.. haha all obessesed with the charts.. with figureing out exact estimate on time of approval. haha.. we miss our loved ones to much.. haha.. Im betting on june for us.. guess maybe at the end of june seeing how things are going. So what are you guys doing to keep yourself busy? I've been investigating prices for things for our wedding, my fiancee just got her dress talored there in the philippines (her own design, as well as the talors suggestions.. can you believe only 5000pp/$100!!). Were trying to save were we can, but our first wedding is going to be very simple.. then we will have a really nice one for her family in the philippines. Whew.. just rignt now, seems im just tryign to keep routines.. work-save-sleep.. lol.. that all i do now.. haha.

Oh, Grand Canyon was that mind blowing eh? Cool.. I thought of at some point visiting diffrent national parks together, like yellowstone.. etc. Think it would be amazing to experience all of Gods wonders with my baby. I really wanna see niagra falls at some point in our life. Heh.. I think ahead to much though I think, LoL.. takes money to do all those things... haha.... Lot of saving ahead.. maybe 5 years of saving per trip with my Job (HAHA LOL). But eventually it would be nice to see them all, and God willing we will be able to. Yay!

The easier part is most definitely the part where the petitioner gathers everything together, writes the check [$455.00] and mails it off. Once you are issued your Notice of Approval, it becomes a bit more stressful -- Your fiance will be sent a packet with instructions and she will have her own papers to fill out and things to collect, such as a police report from Thailand and any other country she's lived in for more than a year past the age of 16, if any. From there, she'll have a medical appointment and then an interview, where they will ask about your relationship. As for how long it takes to get an interview... it really varies. For some people, that comes within 3 or 4 months. Others aren't so lucky, waiting 7 months or more. And then there are those who have been waiting over a year [or more!] to begin the consular part of the journey. So.. you just have to hope for the best. Unfortunately, the system isn't the greatest, so you're going to have to hope that luck is on your side.

That said, I wish you the best of luck on the journey, and please remember that VJ has many, many guides at your disposal, all of which are quite helpful and will definitely answer a lot of questions.

They wont let you in to the interview in Thailand. Best you can do is give her your passport to show them you are in country. If you have to gather more evidence, you have wasted a plane ticket.

This is kinda your call. I wasn't there for my wife's interview, but that had nothing to do with them telling her to come back with more info. She had to go back twice to submit more evidence. I was there when she went back, and was allowed inside, although I didn't talk to anyone, I made sure they knew I was there. You can see my review here:

I would recommand you to check with your work to see if you can keep your security clearance and you Job after she comes here, then I would worry about how long it would take, trust me is a long time, longer that you think. - in some cases you might have to apply for security clearance .

Yeah I think you might get 'er done faster. All you gotta do is... first wear a black suit, with some raybans (MIB Style), walk up into the service center where you petition is..... Say you need to locate a petition for a "State your name here"... when they ask who you are.. you just say "Sorry this is federal buisness, Its very important." * flash the badge...Then.. ok then.. Once they give you your petition, look through it .. look very conserned... then suddenly look up at them, as if you found something.. and say.. " I need this petition finalized immediantly!"... yup.. and thats it..... if they have any problems or get suspect.. just say you got to make a phone call.. and RUN ... like forest gump.

I'm like obviously excited to introduce her to all my friends and family here, and show her our home. But what else you think would be cool to do with your fiancee when they get here?

NSO Cenomar is valid for 6 months only.

once these expires, she has to get new copies prior to her interview.

SO checking IGORS list.. hmm.. is that a February Approval I see.. ? If so .. wow.. its getting closer for us.. .. Mid May Is my prediction for 1st March approval!!

AT&T and T-Mobile for USA... all others do NOT Work... I used SUN on my iphone when I was in Philippines.

Buy the 10 dollar at&t phone at walmart, activate the sim.. use the sim on iphone.. return the phone.

OR go online, and can buy sim only from tmobile for like 9.99... quite frankly both suck, prepaid sucks.. I know cause im on prepaid.. but I just buy $4.99 card every month cause I dont call execpt if id be in emergency.
