  1. quick update - i called dos this morning after calling nvc - nvc still said same old song and dance right ?

so lady at dos was so nice - she said we are cleared and nvc is just waiting for next batch to go to embassy so should be within week - but we have cleared nvc according to dos

so why cant nvc say this and stop all the stress ??

  2. We got our NOA2 on 26th of August, 2009. I called NVC on:

Monday morning the 31st - I was told it was being processed and given the NVC case #.

Called back Tuesday morning - guy said was being processed to be transferred to the embassy

Called Weds and was told was needing some additional processing

Was sort of shocked as took Tuesday as good sign was being prepped for shipping

So did some reading of the horror stories on here and just can't do it ( I mean will it have too ) but this sucks

I am going to call back again this morning and see what they say again and if is same or even if is something different - I am going to ask my congressman to check into it for me to see what is going on

I figure by the time he acts on it - if is still there - will be ready to be screaming at someone

  3. Did u have your eac number from uscis ??

I gave them this and our names and birth dates - we were in there system and got our number ( nvc )

but all they will say is processing

today the guy said "is being prepared for transferring to embassy " so am like - is it ?? is this like a clue ?? lol lol

I hate this - is worst then nothing before

  4. yeheyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

    we're approved

    Receipt Number:

    Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

    Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On August 26, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

congrats! now i can see another approval of NOA2 of April filers..(but using an attorney?)hmmmmmm

    Congrats!!!

    congrats !!

I was so surprised by mine - I know really how it feels to see others approved when you are wanting yours approved - is hard to come here and see approvals and not receive one at the same time.

I never thought I would say this - but keep the faith - is no logical order in how they are processed but when you get it - is like OMG - then fear set in some as all this wait is almost ( hopefully) over and instead of being zillion miles apart all the time we have come accustom to in many ways - might soon be over and you think omg - you sort of get cold feet like before a wedding lol lol

BUT is great feeling and think you all will be saying within next couple of days - WE ARE APPROVED !! :P

  5. I got back in the states yesterday - man is my heart sore - soul empty - house lonely - life is cold again

there should be a pill to make these things numb lol

when I got home - i paced for several hours - then realized I was trying to get away from the feelings coming from inside - so then stopped pacing and dealt with feelings - come on noa2 and rest of red tape

    this is sucking big time

  6. I just came back from Moldova at the beginning of this month and it was very strange while I was there. As I told Natalia in my country I do not usually dream in the usa, its more or less a dreamless, soundless, restless pause from the night to the morning period. But over there with her, feeling her next to me, I had dreams almost every night and they were so colorful and vivid I couldn't believe it. I feel like a machine just going through the motions without her here and I feel the separation anxiety immediately when I am leaving her at the airport (I even feel myself start to hyper-ventilate when I take that airplane from there to Frankfurt, Germany, its like someone is stretching my soul like a rubber band and all I want is to just turn that plane around) I have been waiting such a long time for her and now I hope everything will go smoothly now. To all of you I hope that you will all soon have your day in the sun, your partners, soulmates, best friends and lovers with you, and that all your wishes come to fulfillment and so I will just keep repeating that line "good things come to those who wait" in my case almost 3 years worth of patience. star_smile.gif

This is so pretty - I wish you speed in your process along with everyone else here. It is very hard leaving your love one behind - I thought I was the same one when I board the plane to go back from the trips to visit - is like my soul is saying NO don't leave parts of me here and the trip home is always so lonely - the 1st time I was coming back on a visit - I wrote to him then the 2nd time I found I could not - was like not enough - I wanted more time to talk and dream w him in real time. Life here is the states also has become mechanically and just functioning waiting and watching time tick away to get down the road closer to being able to be together for life.

  7. Thanks for the replies - was just wondering if maybe would be like "oh ok he will be back not to screw up I-129F" but apparently I think differently ..lol

I send him movies all the time and have my place on web cam for him - he watches my dogs when I leave ..lol

I think after reading some of the others posts - we are quite lucky as I have his work cam - so I "see" him every day

WE also found a site called talkster.com - is cool site - we put in our international numbers and they gave us a local number for each other - so we can call all the time on the phone for free - is not a bad connection and just few ads while connecting

We both have yahoo on our phones - so is like 24/7 "togetherness"

  8. My fiance had tried twice for visitor visa at the Romanian Embassy but was denied both times - they said he did not have enough ties and alluded to us being more then friends.

We were but we felt this would give the cause they stated ..lol..even though he would not of over stayed his stay - as we wanted to file the 1-129F to begin with after his trip here.

So we filed the I-129F which we were going to anyway but he just wanted to see the US and still does - is a big move from Romanian and very different

My question is now that we have filed the I-129F - do you think his chances would be better to get a visitor visa ? I am planning my 3rd trip there in July to spend my summer shutdown - which I have fallen in love with Romania but think he could use the break and come here so may not be so nervous when the time comes to marry and move here

    what do you think ??
