I plan on attending the interview in Romania with my fiance - is it still importance to bring tons of evidence of continued relationship to the interview ?

I spent a month just recently with him in Romania since filing the I-129F - so is 3 trips in total then this will be 4th trip for interview - so am just wondering if is still needed much more evidence ??

I have daily - all day chat logs from yahoo for the past 2 years, international text charges from my wireless phone bill. We talk via a free international service called talkster - so I also have his local talkster number on my cell bill also - but most of our live talks are over yahoo messenger - plus his cell is prepaid - so he is not able to retrieve his records - will it matter if seems all one sided ??

Should I still print out overall correspondence for the entire time we have been together - or just during the time between filing the I-129F ?

I would not listen to your lawyer - i know this process is depressing - but very few last past 30 day

I think the DHL site is having some technical difficulties

I was able once to put in the wildcard "EXP%" w a date range and came up with several pages of shipments

now it is not working - but maybe is a way to go - i am not sure if was a fluke but will try again after few hours in case DHL site is down somewhat

Boghy - you are so correct - you have to "listen" to what they are trying to tell you when they call - try not to be upset - and DO ask for a supervisor

We get all emotional and upset and depressed when we call so I think we are like calling with closed mind and attitude.

If you take it like "ok is time to put on my happy face" and be positive with the "clones" (lol)

I never really had trouble with any of them when I asked for a supervisor - they always fulfilled this request - ( in one way or another )

I am beginning to think maybe alot of this AP is THE backlog at the embassies - and NVC is like a holding tank for this.

They can't tell you this outright ( although it would be sweet if they did ) because if they told you this - then it would make the government look bad

I know these things do not help this duration of being stuck in this black hole and is not the case for everyone here - I think some are legit extra security checks for what ever reasons - this is a link that is listed in the very 1st of this thread and IS SO GOOD TO READ

This explains all the checks and double checks the government preforms and at what stage of the process they are preformed.

I found it was amazing that the US government does not have a SOLID database of all this information - and is several databases they actually check.

But the backlog at the embassies and the more K-1's being filed yearly - would really explain why more are being put into this Blackhole overall and think is also why some are quick and some are not but with me being like waiting on the Romanian Embassy - is sort of easier to see this when you step back and look at the stats for this embassy :

In over the whole history of VJ here are the stats for this embassy:

16 of this number are from just this year ( does not really prove my point well lol as SOMEBODIES might not be filling out their timelines ) because I know from just talking to people on here - this past month - were like I know of 7 in in this month - and this is just from people on this forum (who has filled out a time line)

Because I was surprised by the following facts:

1- I thought I was 1st Romania put into AP - but were actually several

2 - I was told by DOS we had been cleared to go to embassy since Sept. 03, 2009

3 - Start of a New month - many are coming out of ap

You will all get out of AP - but we all know others will come after us - and go though this same ####### without answers, without time frames

Crazymazy i was hoping to get same answers as you since i'm one day after you, but still nothing. I will call them tonight, since i notice that they sent packages in bathes twice a day, in the morning between 7AM-8AM and afternoon from 3PM to 4 PM.

OH maybe this is the a,b,c ????

I'm not sure, but looking at yours it got shipped in the morning, and was a B. I was thinking on that, but it throw off the morning hours thinking that should be A instead. I really don't know yet.

when i called in the morning - they said was still in ap

when i called that evening - they said had shipped that day

same day - 2 calls

I've checked all known possible query options for DHL, and nothing for romania, today They just update the shipping list.

In the same day at 3PM EST the DHL is displaying already the information of the packages that are sent in that day ("Shipment data received.").

Well the Panama shipment was not mine called the number provided to Dept. of State and also called NVC...day 38 in Hell

do you mind me asking what the dept of state said ?

Well, the person I spoke with was very nice and sympathetic about my situation. He told me that all he can see on the computer is that my petition is still at NVC in processing. He also told me that he can see on it also that there was an inquiry by my Congresswoman. I told him that I had contacted her twice about this and even faxed a letter to the Assistant Secretary of State For Consular Affairs. He told me "you are doing all the things that can be done". I think I have never felt as low as I have been feeling the past week, I am in a very very dark depression. I feel this is MUCH worse that the wait for USCIS to approve. Really dont know how much longer I can tolerate this.

Sorry maverick - i know this sucks - but keep hope alive - I know sounds weak - but is best we can do right now **hugs**
