  1. On March 5, my case was transfered from VSC to CSC. Today, I received email from CRIS with the following statement. Thought it was weird. I hope they's start sending approvals soon.

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

My case got transferred on the 02-25-2009 and it says exactly the same thing as yours so i wouldnt take i to mean anything, hope you get approved soon.

Thanks you all, I hope to got an approval email/notice sooner than later. Can't wait this condition removal journey to be over. It's totally a torture.

    Hi michaillah07,

Looks like you might hear something from USCIS soon. Hang in there.

Wish you best of luck :). Keep high hope and patience. Your I-751 is about to end :).

Hi Guys, guess what?????? I received my approval notice today in the mail. DATE OF DECISION: 5/5/09. I am so freaking happy...... USCIS is really unpredictable. I got the that email from CRIS the saying my case is pending but it was actually the APPROVAL DATE. To all of you who are still waiting, keep the faith.

  2. i agree with you. well USPS is running on ebay and other online shopping retailers for last many years otherwise it would had been a thing of past. USCIS closed the TSC and NSC because they were not working as they should. Rather than doing something they closed them and put all the workload on VSC. VSC already has started processing Nov 2008 filers and did not do anyhing for people like me who filed before Nov 2008 nor putting any pressure on CSC as they are processing March 2009. I cant belive how they can process without ignoring the timeline. I think we shoud let the cogressmen and senators to put pressure on USCIS as that is the only option we have.

Well... I have posted before, if you live in the state of Texas, I'm planning to send a group letter this summer if I don't get my case decision within their 6 months goal. I currently already have one supporter, anyone else wants to join us?

Hey guys, the letter I received does not state anything about Local Office. It simply stated : Case is pending at the USCIS Office where it was transferred. I am glad CSC is now working on my case. Hoping to receive something soon, hopefully the approval notice or the GC itself.... how about that for a change.

  5. Just thought to share my experience:

applied after divorce in June 2008 Vermont. Send them 2 lbs of documents.

Since then my case was never touched, as well as was not transfered to California together with other cases of June 2008. I did not know what to think but decided to wait till June before setting up infopass.

On April 4th I moved and sent them change of address form in letter as well as changed it on-line for my case. Got "touch" on 9th, approval on 14th and Greencard on 20th.

....after that I really wonder if my case was gathering dust on somebody'd desk(and that's why was not transfered to Cali), got pulled for address update, somebody looked through it and approved...in other words I have a feeling that if I haven't moved, my case would still be there with no updates or news...

Funny thing that many people are afraid of moving while their case is pending, actually I was one of them too...but it seems it helped.

Best of luck to all of you!

    Hi, Congratulations!

I am wondering if you are willing to share your experience. My friend is going through a divorce right now and we are trying to help her when she will file her removal of conditions alone. Her friends, including myself are not lawyers so we can't really make her feel at ease and can't afford to hire a lawyer if needed. This is why maybe you can write her personally. Let me know so I can give you her email address. Thank you very.

  6. All,

Up untill today i had not been able to check the status of my application online so this morning i just wanted to go through the ritual/motions of trying to check it again and boom!!!!!!!, it just showed that "current status card production ordered". Mind you i had never been able to check the status online.

Now some people are going to be mad here i know and i do sympathise with them, i do believe that applications should be processed on first come first serve basis, its only fair it should be done that way.

    My timeline is as follows.

Application filed November 16 2008 to VSC

    Application Recieved November 17 2008

    NOA Dated November 19th 2008

Recieved Biometrics appointment Letter December 2 2008

Went for biometrics appointment December 18th 2008

CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED APRIL 22nd 2009

I wasnt expecting anything untill sometime in August/September, though i was being a little optimistic for late July/early August, this came out of the blue from no where. Fot those with timelines close to mine please be checking your status online regularly even if its now showing up now, it could someday inexplicably.

    Congrats!!!

    Congratulations!!!

  8. Hey guys, I know this is so dumb question to ask but can somebody do the math for me? When can I file my N400? I know I can send my application whether I receive my 10-year GC on hand or not. My Conditional Permanent Resident card was issued Nov 22, 2006. The receipt date of my I-751 is Sept 3, 2008. My case is now pending at CSC. When I was trying to figure out when can I file my N400, I am showing 2 different dates. Can somebody help me figure out this and come up with the exact date that I can send my N400 application, please?

    Thanks everyone.

  9. Hi, I am a little confused with the basic eligibility to file for N400. My case for removal of conditions is still pending and was just recently transferred to CSC last 3/5/09. My question is regarding the physical presence in the country without a single absence. I was out of the country for 13 days last year while on conditional residence. Does this affect my eligibility? Thank for your time.

  10. Guys and gals, seems like there are quite a bit of people here who were transferred from VSC to CSC recently. Does anyone want to create a chart with processing times just for the transferees to monitor their perfomance? I think all we need is the original reciept date (in VSC) and approval date, we can also add biometrics dates and stuff, but i dont think its necessary.

I am newbie here. Please add me. VSC RD is 9/3/08, Transferred to CSC on 3/5/09.

    Thanks.
