To be honest Richard it sucks, but what can you do. I am glad that her father is getting better, but she is worried about what will happen when he gets out of the hospital. She is looking for some sort of home care for him. It is a wait and see game. This process has certainly tested my patience and my resolve. It hasn't broken me and we are still looking forward to being together. I like to think this is making us stronger as a couple. I do however find myself bouncing off of the walls when I go to bed at nights. The anticipation of not sleeping alone makes it difficult to sleep. Other than that I am doing fine.

I can only imagine, my friend and say that you 3 are in our prayers! Joanna asks about you all the time

Lee, no, I am back in Atlanta. Joanna, kids and I are doing fine. Set the date (in case you missed it) Feb 19th. We bought our wedding bands yesterday. Gosh, it feels strange to have a ring on my finger... even though I only wore it for like an hour

Mornin' Lee, good to see you here and glad that things are progressing with your father inlaw (to be). The search is going... it is a difficult environment to be looking for a job and then looking for a home for 10 of us is a lot harder... but, it is what it is...

Raiding, like it may sound... is when you or someone literally raids a firm and takes a large % of employees. In this case I would be taking them all.

Yes, I am not moving... I have 10 people that work for me here and in theory, we would all just move over to a new firm. I have to be careful from a legal point of view since 'raiding' is illegal... but f&ck it... I dont care anymore!

Yeah, I go to NYC next week to meet with a few firms that have an interest... and a call with a Chicago firm on Monday.

No, not really... I am going to NYC next tuesday through thursday to meet with some firms that have expressed interest in having an Atlanta presence. I need to make sure that my people have at least one parachute in case one day we come to work and the doors are locked.
