Very nice Iggie! Very nice indeed.

Oh, and we have an biometric appointment on 4/9/10

  2. Renovation fever full blast eh? It became my job # 2 since we moved to a new house. Always something to do small or big. I do enjoy it though... I am re-doing hallway and decided to start from scratch with hand rails yesterday. I was staining at 2am... They came out so perfect, I got a little teary :D . Stain was 100% match too.

Richard... you better post some pictures?

How is everybody? Rich, Liz, Lee - how are things going for you?

YOU better post some pics! :P

Long time no type! Hi all!! We married March 20th! Very small ceremony, my mom, step dad Lampros and I plus the pastor. We went today to the civil surgeon and ended up paying a total of 525 SO FAR for all his shots to be recognized. Blood work basically to prove he's had shots for mumps and all that fun stuff. We're getting all the paperwork together as we can and will file for AOS as soon as we get the papers in! It seems more of a feat in WA state to change my name on all my things than to do his paperwork for AOS. Ahhhh, being Mrs. Chaidas is amazing though, I love it!!!

Sorry for such a long reply to anything, we're very busy with my full time "strict" work hours and the paperwork plus of course helping my mom move not only her belongings to her new house, but her 5,000 book business too!

Hope everyone is taking care and are doing really well, I'll try and get in her more often as I can!

    YIPPIE!

  3. Well everyone I talked to Bey. We are working out our differences. I am not sure what will come of it but in the meantime i am sending away for the marriage visa. Wish me Luck.

Can anyone help me with this. WHat forms I need to do and send out? I do not know if i should pay for it or just send myself. ANyone can help me here?

Rich, this is good news. I am sorry I cannot help on the forms to use, but having gone through the K1, I would think you can do it yourself now.

    Everyone else... happy MONDAY! (blah)

  4. If it's been a week then you should be getting something soon....it takes them about 7-10 days to get it started and get the checks cashed.

Spring break was awesome! Loved the zoo...the new exhibits were cool but what I really enjoyed more was our time in a little town call Gruene...we met up with some friends we made here on VJ who were in town from California looking for a house! If you ever make it to this part of Texas you MUST go to Gruene...check it out... www.gruenetexas.com

Looks like a quaint lil town

  5. Thanks Richard. Seriously though I am doing alright. We are coming down the home stretch and the wait will soon be over. How is Joanna enjoying her days by herself?

Can never have toooooooooo many hugs :)

Joanna is doing quite well. Our next door neighbor (korean) has asked Joanna to come over for coffee and stuff. I have taught her how to make double fudge chocolate brownies (which A. are to die for and B. She really likes), so she is going to make a batch and go over sometime next week. Filip has a friend in school from Guatemala and he has spent the night at our place.... well... anyway, his Mother has kind of starting to befriend her and I think Wednesday next week they are going out for coffee.

We live in a rather large house which she insists on taking care of (i.e. I had to fire my house keepers) :)

She has not started driving yet... grrrrrrrrrrrr, I wish she would... since that will give her a lot more independence.

That said.. I did play hookie from work yesterday and fooled around ALL morning... so I like her home :D

Summer break starts early here... sometime in May... So by the time the kids go back to school in August, I think she will be ready to go to work... we'll see...

  6. I am actually doing quite well. I just found out yesterday that Oksana and her dad had a very long talk. She just had to let him know that she wants to be here before mothers day. She doesn't want me to be alone. Which means a lot to me. Her dad took it well and is now going to buy her plane ticket. She is still going to be there for a few more weeks, but at least her dad is ok with it. I have had my suspicions that he hasn't always been supportive of her decision to leave.

I am sorry that your team isn't as excited to leave as you are. At the very least it should be much easier to find something just for yourself. I wish you a speedy search.

I am glad that Oksana had that talk... and that things can move forward... I would very much like to see you two TOGETHER!!! As far as I know you are the last of my FEB and MAR family, with the exception of Carl on the March board... Columbia?? I think it was denied her Visa, so they are fighting it.

Hang tough buddy... and come visit me! errrrr us :)
