hi everyone, my case was completed on May 20th. Im in line for a july interview too, how do ask the operator for an interview date? just say "when is my interview?" I always ask them to check on the status of my case and they keep telling me that scheduling is the 2nd week of every month
im not sure how to ask cuz my husband is the one who calls them all the time ... but i'll ask him and get back at you
-
my case got completed today and the operator told me that June Interview were already filled in and should call back 2nd week of June and that i will get July interview but i wont wait till 2nd week, i might call back next week and bug them all the time....Ü
good for you! ill do the same

anybody out there got interview date who got approved in May?
My husband called NVC today and they told him that the spots for June have already been filled and that we should call on the third week of June for a July interview... I'm not really sure what to do, but I think I'm not gonna wait till the third week of June to call again....
I know they assign interviews only on the second week of the month but I've seen many VJ'ers call NVC whenever and get an interview just like that!
Or maybe it's useless to call...idk...this sucks and I'm getting so impatient!!
well
uhm
i managed to call monday and friday from every week till i get it
i wnt wait till 2nd or third June to call to find out that my Interview is only 10 days away or something
as u stated ..some already get assigned all the month time ..specially the middle 10 days of every month ..and still some get it last 10 days of the month ..
so keep after it till u get it ..
Good Luck
I will! I just hope I don't get on their nerves or something ...
Good luck to you too!!

hey there,
my case was complete may 14th. so far i haven't called NVC yet. so does it really help in getting an interview date sooner if you call NVC?
-
...where is everybody else?
-
CONGRATS!!! im impressed at how quick this process was for you! Wish you all the best!
Wow that seemed very fast for you guys .. Mubarak... Congrats!!!I just have one question what is the difference from K1 from Cr 1?
Amana
K1 is fiance visa and IR-1/Cr-1 is spouse visa.

So you can be in AP even after your case is complete?? I thought that happened (if it was gonna happen) only while you were at NVC...not after the interview.... and why wouldn't they tell you before?? this is so messed up....
A chimpanzee can get a NOA2 - "case complete" as you have phrased it.
It's at the consulate where things can go differently.
NOA2 and case complete at NVC are two different things
Doesn't change the facts.
All you are doing before you get to the consulates is pushing papers.
pushing papers? i wouldn't say so...

If you have activated your CR/IR visa (as you have in your username) then your stamped visa serves as a temporary GC for a year. With that you can travel whenever you want for a year. That's what I did.
thanks a lot for replying!
-
It says that you filed for a CR/IR1 visa under your username so the information I have given you is for this category visa.
AOS/AP is for K1 visas and if this is what you have filed for then I suggest you update the information in your profile
CR/IR1 is right! i didnt realize what you guys said applied to different categories. everything is clear now. thank you very much!

what kaffy and baron 555 said are total opposites.....
