hello all August Fliers~ I have been posting my update because its pretty UNUSUAL and does not follow through the normal progress of AOS. Hubby received our AOS I 485 Interview Letter TODAY in the mail, dated Sept 11, 2009. Interview is for: October 16, 2009 8:00 AM in Los Angeles USCIS Office. ~ I mean our online status remains pending, last touched 09/04.

This is our story~~~ of course i'm ELATED that this is our final stage of approval before obtaining a PR/Green Card ... but also feel like wow... the sequence is off here ~~

Yes and also the online status still shows that its last touched 09/04. Even hubby's K1 VISA is still pending from Feb. such an unreliable system .

omg! sO i really should Celebrate because why would we even need an EAD if we can have a Green Card soon ~~~

Hey Guys ! Don't know whats going on here... my hubby called me and told me that we had received our I485 AOS Interview Letter today for October 16, 2009 at 8 :00 AM in Los Angeles. but yet we haven't even received an approval on our EAD YET or ONLINE status shows, last touched as of 09/04.

i'm actually travelling right now in Beijing, hubby received a notice for I485 INTERVIEW LETTER in Los Angeles !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

interview date: Oct 16, 2009 at 8:00 AM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but online status remains last touched 09/04 and pending and nothing .. *_* ..

and not to mention NO EAD approval and everything else is PENDING and now...

a green card interview letter !

You guys are so lucky! Haven't heard anything on hubby's EAD card ~ He had his bio on Sept 3rd... last touched sept 4th....

Hey everyone, has anyone received any updates on regards to their EAD after biometrics in early Sept?

How is everyone else doing?

I wanted to update on my husband, they wouldn't give him instate tuition so we ended up paying for adult education schooling for him, its like $65 dollars for 5 weeks of golf classes & $50 for 5 weeks of english pronounciation classes.

there should be a profolio section on the UCSIC.gov website, then inside there are 5 tabs, and one of them is listed as last updated, that date is the last touched date.

hey guys ~ yes, i was worried just like all of you for the NOA 1 ~ but the truth is IT WILL COME ~ it took me 10 days from the day of sending it .. but it does arrive. Then you can log in your case number online and check on the updates of your case as well as any touches -).

Then after the NOA 1, you basically wait again for the biometrics... my husband's took another 2 weeks ~~ heheh... but when you get that you can always do an early walk in. super simple and easy!

Marina I have heard case bring transfered after the bio appt. This is unusual ~ but i have also heard transfering to csc center means = no interviews~ hopefully!

Isn't transfering to CSC a great sign that you may not be needing an interview for the actual Green Card?

yup yup good luck everyone i'm sure this is much easier than k1 visa ~ because we have our loved ones by ourside.

You should do an early walk in bio garbriela ~ its so simple and easy. My hubby got his Biometrics today only took 15 mins in and out =) and then they stamp your orginial biometrics appt letter.

Hubby went for his Walk In Appt! I made him do this all by himself while I'm here super busy & swamped @ work =) But he did it ! It wasn't so bad... at first he was reluctant to go by himself, afterall this is a brand new country to him... but yay! He finished his biometrics

We are now... in the waiting stage again =)

for you all that did the walk in Biometrics, did you have to make an appt or you just walk in literally?

I got the BIO letter---> but appt is dated 9/23~

How would i go about doing an early walk - in?

Can someone tell me how to do an Early Walk In Appt? Do we just show up like for example: sometimes next week? and then bring everything with us ... and then ... see if they will take our fingerprint?

The biometrics appt letter is for 09/23 ~~~ thats another more than 3 weeks + away ~~~

I wonder if they just place your case onhold until Bio is finished *_*

woohoo! We just received our BIOMETRICS LETTER! and the finger printing location is in the same city we live in. Anyhow ~ its dated notice 08-26 and we received it today 08-29... and bio appt is 09-23...

Anyone think Early Walk In's is an option?

I mean if we walk in early will it really make our process go faster?

looks like this bio letter is taking a lot longer than I had anticipated ~ but w/o it EAD and GC will not move forward *_*
