  1. I tried calling this number (603) 334-0700, why is it always BUSY SIGNAL? *-* has anyone had any luck getting through? Receipt number would be the WAC number right?

Another question, on the NOA 2, under my fiance's name, he now has an A Number... that would be his future A # as well?

Should I mail him the actual copy of NOA 2 ? or would i keep that?

  2. I'm preparing to assemble the packet 3~

These are the following ~ anything else?? Am i missing anything?

As for I134, 2 years of tax return, is that sufficient? + recent pay stubs?

    Police certificates from countries where the beneficiary has resided after the age of 16;

    Medical examination of the beneficiary

Sworn affidavit of financial support (Form I-134) from the petitioner, with evidence of income and assets attached

    Signed and dated letter from the petitioner addressed to the U.S. Consul, reaffirming the petitioner's intent to sponsor the beneficiary as a fiancé and to marry in the U.S. This reaffirmation letter will revalidate the I-129F if its USCIS approval is more than 4 months old;

  3. My fiance and I had met 4 times - what I did for each time was the cover page is the actual picture taped on a sheet of paper in a protective sheet cover and labeled underneath with the date and location of the photo. I also included various other evidence, such as Passport Stamps and Boarding Passe Copies & Luggage Tags & Receipts. All of those are copied & inserted behind the initial picture document. Then I included an envelop for each of the times that we met..... with extra photos that we took together.

In addition, we had video that we took together while taking tours, I included them on a CD and attached that in the very end.

Basically I had 4 stacks of proof of having met in person, each organized by each time we met. It went really well for me. Our NOA 2 was approved in 30 days.

  4. Amazingly - our NOA 2 was approved in just 31 days. My fiance was here visiting for 1 week while we were able to celebrate this wonderful news together. Today he went back to Seoul...... again we always have to say good bye at the airport~ I really hate it but at least this time around we were both so hopefully that soon we don't have to continously fly to see eachother......

We received the NOA 2 in the mail 3/25- so I know what I have to prepare next... but usually will my fiance receive a notice stating that the case has been sent to the consulate & received by the consulate ? Online status has not yet been updated. So, how would i know? What do i have to do next?

  5. Hey guys! Just want to do a quick update on my case status, amazingly i'm still in SHOCK** that.... while my finance is visiting me this week...I received the NOA 2 approval notice in the mail. Although on the website our case status has not yet been updated, but I received the I-797 notice of action # 2..... in just 31 days from receiving NOA1. Its almost like miracle happened. But I did notice that recently we have many individuals receiving their NOA 2 much sooner than anticipated. I wonder why!

Anyhow, I have finished preparing the I34 form for my finance.... As for now, what should I be doing ? Will my finance be receiving a packet with the information that he need for the next step?

Other than the I134, I am not sure if there is anything else I should be doing immediately?

Please advise~ and I'm really excited that I am able to share this great news with all of you on Visa Journey!

  6. My mom had a similar situation happened to her when she petitioned her husband from China. She petitioned I130 instead of the I-129F. Basically the case was pending based on security check for a very long time they will eventually get to it, but i would suggest have your finance contact a local government official to check on the status of your case. It worked for my mom, she had to contact our city Mayor then she contacted a state representative assmebly member. It really work, usually you will at least get a response and know what's going on.

    GOOD LUCK!

  7. Why is it that some people only wait 2 month in order to receive their NOA 2 since NOA 1 and some can wait as long as 6 months? Why does it vary? Has anyone ever done any analysis on it before? Or does it have to do with the complexity of your K1 visa filing?

It interests me because approx, should take anywhere between 3 months... of time but some people receive it in 2 months....

    Does it matter which country?

    Anyone have any idea?

  8. Hello Guys!

Wanna update you guys really quick, this morning after noticing that they cashed my check the day after my application was received. On 2/25/2009: I received the first NOA1. It has our receipt #. I will start the process of preparing for the next step, which is the I-134.

I have a quick question about I134.... when I applied for a greencard for my x husband back in 2001.... I was still in College, my mom served as a co-sponsor. On the I-134 form, it asked whether I had applied for I134 before... obviously I say YES. but what if I can't remember the exact date? Can I just put July, 2001 ? and not have an exact date the form was filed? Does immigration expect you to remember and have all that information after nearly 9 years?

If anyone knows anything, please let me know. I have no problem filling out the form and preparing the documents... I just don't know the exact date... would that be a problem?

    Please advise! Thanks

  9. doesn't seem like problems to me. as for my fiance, he's been to the U.S. many many times on a work visa due to the nature of his job. He still travels to U.S. for certain events and so forth. This is only better for immigration I think bc its proven to them that you are not looking to come to U.S. for the sake of immigrating here.. rather you met someone and really want to start a life here with him/her.

  10. Why wouldn't you have enough evidence? You just need proof of meeting & proof of an ongoing relationship. As long as you two are continously keeping in contact and you can prove that when you submit yout initial I-129F documents.

Here is what you need to prepare:

    Cover Letter for I129F

    Fill out the I-129Form

Provide proof of any termination of previous marriages

Bio g325a forms for you and your fiance signed & dated

    Proof of your U.S. Citizenship

Intent to marry (one from you ) and (one from your fiance)--Signed & Dated

Proof of have meet eachother in the past 2 years. ( you just need to submit pictures you took with her) and airline ticket receipts etc...

Proof of an ongoing relationship ... emails, letters, phone bills, etc...

I don't see why you can't start your I-129F submission.

  11. Hi- No what I meant to ask was: whether it is OK for him to still come and visit on his tourist visa. Just so we can be together and see eachother for 1-2 weeks.. during this pending/waiting/dreadful stage. no, he will not overstay. Possibly only for 1 week at most. I was just worried that when he enters the immigration port of entry^^ they might find his I-129F file pending and thinking he might want to come into the country to stay... obviously, he won't unless we have our K1 Visa approved. Then he would quit his job and relocate then...

Thats what I was worried about! But I think its cleared up now. As long as he doesn't overstay... we should be in good hands.

    Thanks <3

  12. I can actually give some advice on this one because when I petitioned for my x husband I-130, back in 2001- he was once arrested for domestic violence against his x gf. Well, the case was dismissed ... during the initial green card interview we were told that we needed additional information on this case. Therefore, we had to drive back to San Diego Court to obtain a record that this case was dismissed and that pc of paper was all that we needed.

I think you have to be completely honest and obtain valid records that this case is dismissed.
