Can she visit while getting the k-1? should i just get married at the court while she is here and get the c-1? But with a c-1 she cannot immigrate at all right?

I am a US citizen by naturalization and I have a daughter who resides in Nigeria with my parent. I am trying to bring her here soon. But I have a huge problem. When I came here on a fiancée visa with my ex, I never put my daughter name on any of the documents, because my parent didn’t want me to do that. I came to the States in 2005. When I applied for citizenship, her name was also not on any document either. In fact I am in the military and her name is not on any document I got, except for my second daughter I have with my ex husband. I am trying to change everything because I have missed my first daughter so much, and I want her here. I really don't know what to do or how to go about it. I am thinking of filling I-130 with an explanation why her name was ommitted in the first place or why I didn't put her name on any of my documents. Please what do I do? I am planning on going to Nigeria next year and come back to start the paperwork. Where do I go from here? Thank you guys

Hi! my husband and i filed my petition for residency thru an attorney since we weren't sure that time and all that. now its time for me to file i-751 to remove my conditions. initially, we paid our atty $3000 for his professional fee and i remember him telling is its all the way. so now that we gave him our forms he suddenly sent us a bill with a new $500 prof fee for filing my forms. we cant afford it and we were surprised why he's charging us now to file my forms when we thought it was all included before and we thought all the way means till im a complete resident without conditions anymore. but he said he didnt add the fee before due to some cases where the couple didnt file for removal anymore due to divorce etc.

we were wondering if it would be safe if we just submitted the forms ourselves? we have a copy of the forms and our evidences. don't we just mail it to USCIS and its good already? or do we really need our attorney to mail the forms for us and pay him $500 for doing so?

our evidences include: life/health/401k/dental insurances where my husband and stepson are my beneficiary, a joint car insurance, a joint credit card, a joint ownership of a car, 2009 and 2010 joint filed taxes. would this be enough?

please give us an advice on what we should do.

hello everyone! I hope someone can give me an expert opinion on this one on how to proceed. we have applied for k-1 visa almost 8 months ago and after waiting for months and months and months...we finally decided to have a church wedding in the philippines for religious and cultural reasons. After all wedding plans have been finalized (I'm getting married in June 4), the NOA2 arrives! Isn't that ironic? The thing you've been waiting for finally gets here and you don't know what to do with it now!

So my question is, is there a way to convert k-1 to k-3? if not should I just ignore this k-1 application and start I-130 after we get married? or will my k-1 visa somehow conflict and slow down my I-130 application?

Please help!!!

My conditional green card expires in July,2011. Thus we have to apply for ROC in april. I am collecting all evidences. Here is a approximate list :

1)Joint Bank accounts

2) Joint Tax Returns

3) Company online salary account profile showing us husband and wife

4) NO Joint Ownership of property ( we are stating we cannot as my wife would be decalring bankruptcy and her bad credit may affect me )

5)Joint car insurance

6) NO Joint Credit cards ( we are stating we cannot as my wife would be decalring bankruptcy and her bad credit may affect me )

7) Common address in photo ids

8) Common utility bills ( electricity, water and trash )

9) Joint AAA membership

10) Joint stock holdilting

11) Common Phone bills

12) Joint cable bill

13) We have a small business together

14) Joint membership in cultural organisation

15) Joint Dog registration

16) Hotel receipts and pics of honeymoon.

17) Letters from friends and her daughter.

Here are my questions :

A) Problem is my wife wants to file bankruptcy and if we do that we have to take my name out of the joint cheking account account we have. I can still pay the AOS money from my salary account but then wd`nt seperating my name from the joint account weaken the fact of joint finances ??

What should we do ? Should we wait until I get the 10 yr card or not showing a joint account account wd really affect ( we can explain the situation on he pictthe cover letter though )

B) Regarding pictures : Do we need to show pictures from the time I am here ? means the pictures we showed in the last AOS interview can also be included ? or shd we show only the new pictures we have got for the last two years ?

The biometrics for my wife was on February 17. Our appointment was for at 9:00 a.m. ;but we got there at 7:00 a.m. The door was opened at 8:00 a.m. Just like in your case, the officials at the Van Nuys, CA support center were very nice and helpful. My wife was done by 8:12 a.m. It was painless. Thank you Van Nuys Support Center officials.

My husband had his biometric appointment in Newark on June 27. Our appointment was for 1pm, but we arrived at 12 or so, and we were out of there before 1pm. Remember your SS card or number because you need it for the form you fill out while there.

We were so lucky to get an email today that my husband's green card is in production, his condition to remove status approved, no interview! Wo wooo! Talk about a great Valentines gift! From 2008 to now, he and his 2 children from Brazil are now in the clear..

I agree with everyone. This girl might be hiding a lot from you. How can she ammry twice in a period of 6 months. I do not like to be judgemental; but this relationship does not look good. If I were you, I would some investigation before I take my next step. Most Filipinas are NOT like this. There must be trust in a marriage. If there is no trust, you have nothing. She would need to pay airport tax. It was 750 pesos last time I flew out of Manila. You may want to call to make sure that it is still 750 pesos.

My wife has her passport with visa, stamp/certificate from CFO, plane ticket and all her paperwork... packed and ready to go... is there anything I might be missing she needs to do before leaving cebu? When I left I had to pay an exit clearance fee. Does she have to pay some similar tax before leaving, or is she ready to go now? I just don't want her to get to the airport to go and have them say 'oh you didn't do this/pay this.'

Please do not travel unless you have proper documents to reeneter the country. She would not be able to come back in. Do not take any chances. I am sure you can wait till she gets her conditional green card.

Were married in the USA in 2010. She came here on a K1 visa from the Philippines.

We want to go Mexico on vacation for a week. We live in the USA. I have a valid US passport.

My wife has a Philippine passport good till 2015. We are in the process of getting her status

adjusted to permanent US resident.

Can my wife travel from the USA to Mexico on her passport or does she need other documents as well?

After 5 months 2 weeks since we got noa1, today they said, we got RFE. Perfect!!!!!!!!

Our biometrics appointment is February 17,2011. Thank you Jesus. We may have to do a walk-in appointment in Van Nuys. I hope we can do it next week before our baby is born.
