  1. Hey!! What's everyone doing? ROLL CALL....I wanna hear from all my March peeps!

    Hey Missy!

In hopefully the last "waiting" phase before I can be together with my SO. The packet was sent from Moscow on the 11th of September, but she hasn't received it yet (hopefully in the next few days). The interview was scheduled for the 20th of November (I know so far away!). My SO has already asked me if it was possible to move the date up! I wish it was! :jest:

The good thing is, we have a date that we can count down to, so it's so bad. Marking one day off at a time  . Hoping everything goes well and she'll be here in early December. The perfect Christmas gift

Happy to see march still hanging around, even if there are a few stutters here and there. No Approval yet Missy? Crazy. It's coming ;) Same for Richard, you and your security checks! No security clearances ever? Must be special

The thread has slowed quite a bit in the past month, but glad to see the same faces :P

  2. I am already NUTS

I can't believe you haven't heard anything Richard! What is going on? Really, have they given you a reason at all, or just the same generic responses? Keep up the faith, it has to be coming soon ;-)

Had to go back and read a few pages that I missed, good to see the march thread is still active! Need to check it more often. Starting to look like Feb did while it was at the end of it's "approval process". The last few took longer, but it did come! It'll happen ;-)

    Oh and hey all

  3. How's my March family doing?

Been a few days since I've been around here. Still no NOA2 Richard, Missy? Hmph...and to see May and even June approvals is just bizarre with March still out here waiting.

Don't worry Stephen, you're case will be out of NVC soon! Then onto Seoul and then just about done. Won't be long at all now!

Not much news on my end. Packet arrived in Moscow but haven't heard any news for awhile (no packet sent to fiancee or interview scheduled yet). I'll call tomorrow and see if I can pry anything out of them. I try to only call twice a week or I'd go insane for sure haha! This process is full of a "hurry-up-and-wait" mentality.

It wont be much longer now everyone, it's happening right before our eyes.

P.S. Good to see you Strega/Linda!

  4. hi guys! I havent been on here for ages hehe..how are is everyone? I just wanted to share with all of you my great news.. I just passed my medical last thursday afternoon and friday.. got my shots already too ^_^ Let us all keep praying for one another..God bless guys! and thanks for teh support too when I was still waiting.. God bless

Hey good to hear from you!

So glad everything is going well, and you have your interview so soon! That's awesome. Crazy how fast this has gone. Are you getting excited?

  5. I saw that. I am happy for everyone getting approved, just wish it was us too.

hello missy, how are you??? i hope everyone gets approved now. i just send back my RFE tuesday. i did'nt notice that i miss a question when i fill up the form i-127. hope everything turn well now after they receive it....good luck everyone

    Morning all.

Hope we hear some good news from you guys today! It's September already, hard to believe that time has gone by this quickly. Let's finish up March so we can focus on the rest of this journey

  6. Here's the latest (since I'm sure you're all just dying to know)...

I called NVC tonight, just as I did last night and will probably do every night until our petition is sent on to Seoul.

It arrived there late in the day on Monday, 8/31—I say that because it hadn't arrived in the afternoon when I first called, but they had it when I called around 10:30 that night.

As of tonight, it's still there :crying: but they asked for Elisha's email address, which is a good sign. Seoul sends out Packet 3 by email, and as there's no place on the I-129F petition to provide the beneficiary's email address, they didn't have it yet. I also got her consulate case number.

Still no NOA2 hardcopy, but that's not entirely unexpected.

Good to see the case is progressing for you! It'll be off to Seoul in no time.

Last time I tried to call NVC is was busy (5+ calls). I'll try again tomorrow. Hope to get our case off to Moscow soon as well. Will be awhile for the interview after that, so I want to get it started asap!

My NOA2 Hardcopy took 8 days to arrive. So you should see it soon, this week for sure.

  7. Good evening beautiful Linda :) What color are you today? :P

Hi Richard!...today I'm black and gray.....have been raining all day, is cold, I just went with my baby girl to get some Krispy creme and a made a capuchinno...

To be honest I hate weekends, did I tell you why?...any way...

How are you sweet man? how are everybody? what about you Stephen, Missi, Stan, Dgard and all my march family?

    Linda

Doing well! Mmm Krispy Creme....Share! I'm sure it's still yummy even if you bought it this morning ;)

We could use the rain here in TX...Need it!

  8. Good morning Stephen and Missi!!! :)

Where are the family??? is so quiet in here!!!!

Come on let's make some noise!!! cheer up!!!

    Linda

Yeah it sure is quiet in here! Anyone around? *echo*....*echo*....*echo*...

Today I received the "hard copy" of the NOA2. Nice to actually be able to hold something.

Also called the NVC this week and it has arrived and will soon be "out" and onto the Embassy in Moscow. So cool news there. We'll see if I can track it when it leaves.

So glad to see a 'wave' of March approvals at the end of the week. There are still so many left, but it's nice to know that they haven't forgotten March. Your time is coming Richard & Missy ;)

  9. Too much drama is brewing in here!

It'll all work out. Yes many April filers are getting approved ahead of March. Yes it sucks (but know how excited they must be). The thing is, they aren't choosing to be approved, they simply filed like we all did and USCIS is processing in who-knows-what-way...

The NOA2's are coming. Let's see what happens over the next week or so. Tomorrow could be the best day of recent memory and all these rough feelings will be replaced with a sense of relief!

Perhaps a few days of "Nothing visa related" would be nice? ;)

  10. April 23, 26 and 28 approvals... so what is so wrong with March? Missy... I think I am going to join you in the insane department :)

I don't understand Wth is going on. Seriously? What is going on? This isn't just a random few approvals that are a month+ ahead of the "offical date", but the MAJORITY. I know the April filers are feeling great, and I'm glad they're getting approved, but they will get theirs in due time. It just so happens that March has a lot left.

Hoping they finish off this week strong for you all.

  11. Awwwwe...I love you guys!

Congrats on the anniversary!!!! Don't worried Richard, I'm so sure you will get your NOA2 so soon... I'm all days checking on you, Stephen and Dgard... and I'm praying all days for you my lovely friends...

    Linda

Linda! I got lucky and was approved on the 21st! Only then it was just a 'touch'. I didn't know until Sunday that it was the approval ;)

But yes, Time for Stephen and Richard to get approved! They're up

Too quiet in here today though, agree with that :crying:

  12. OMG A TOUCH!!!!!!!!! 8/24/09!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    MAKE THAT AN APPROVAL!!!

    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

There we go, right on time ;)

Congrats to you! No worries about calling USCIS now

  13. Yeah, Roman is about as useful as a USCIS customer service rep!!! :P

Dave, I dont know, I saw it yesterday... I agree, however... 5 months should be the day... when you call they also tell you that March 5th is the day... I dont care! I filed the service request anyway.

When you call, they don't have a clue...

Let them know that their published, official processing times are available and you are happy to point them to the link, print the article or help them otherwise become more informed. They do NOT in my opinion perform any sort of actual customer support, but exist as a way of keeping the people with pitchforks and torches away.

In my opinion, there should be a service level guarantee with our $455 check. If they do not adjudicate withing the "normal processing time" (or withing 6 months) as of the date we apply, they should have to complete the adjudication *AND* refund the fee (and pay a penalty that escalates starting > 3 months after that). THAT would make them actually meet the service level.

Oh I like this a lot! Perhaps they'd actually process cases "in the order they were received" then. Haha. Though they never have any excuse as to why so many with significantly earlier dates are being processed first. Sorry, they're not all expedites.
